- Claire (1/5): Disgraceful conditions - Booked the property for colleagues, they arrived to find dirty kitchen worktops and a broken kitchen tap. Also, in one of the bedrooms, sleep was disturbed by a flashing strobe light from a neighbouring garden and the curtains did not cover the full length of the window so was unable to block out the light. After complaining to the property about this issue, we were told their solution would have been to reposition the bed, which we find unacceptable. Please see attached photos.
- Sheila (3/5): Borderline illegal and hazardous to one’s health - Location, comfortable beds, clean flat, friendly cleaning lady (Gwen) Property is not accessible for disabled/small babies in prams (step up at front door followed by second step at second door), heating not working at all on first day(12-13 degrees Centigrade inside the house) and was only fixed in bedrooms the following day. We were provided with an electric heater which helped in the living room but the kitchen and dining area remained cold (max 16 degrees). When forced to leave early no partial reimbursement was given, on the contrary the landlord complained of loss of revenue. Needless to say a complaint was raised with booking.com; as it is this property should not be made available to rent in the Winter
