• luca (5/5): Le foto della casa molto belle, ma..... - L'appartamento con gli accorgimenti giusti sarebbe carino Non abbiamo potuto usufruire della cucina per mangiare perché il tavolo in sala era piccolo e solo con quattro sedie, più due sgabelli alti vicino al bancone della cucina, ma noi eravamo in otto, come da prenotazione, le padelle erano tre, piccole per 6/8 persone e rovinate, il bancone della cucina ed il frigo non era ben puliti. Nelle posate mancavano i cucchiaini (ce n'era solo uno) almeno per poter fare colazione. Peccato perché la cucina era carina. Il divano letto aveva la biancheria (come richiesto) ma per i due cuscini c'era solo una federa. La porta del bagno sopra era difettosa, abbiamo dovuto tenerla socchiusa per non rischiare di rimanere chiusi dentro. Nel bagno c'era uno specchio appoggiato in miniatura, andrebbe messo almeno sulla parete laterale uno specchio più adeguato. Abbiamo scritto al gestore sia con booking che wathsapp ma i tempi di risposta sono stati troppo lunghi, ci è stato detto che avremmo dovuto telefonare per avere una risposta più veloce, ma la maggior parte delle osservazioni erano basilari, prevedibili senza alcuna segnalazione se l'arredo della cucina e zona pranzo fosse adeguato per il numero delle persone che si pubblicizza sia possibile ospitare, e se fosse stato fatto un controllo adeguato da parte del personale, inoltre per telefono non è detto che gli ospiti siano in grado di parlare o comprendere la lingua locale. • Faizah (3/5): - Looked clean on images and was in a relatively quiet area Not fit for purpose. Alcohol cans left in draw, dust/dirt in all areas, stains on blinds, sinks blocked, shower head broken, heating didn’t work, mirror:decorative items broken. Suggests properly isn’t getting deep cleaned in between guests and needs a lick of paint where there’s stains on walls to keep it clean.
• Girish (4/5): Disappointing stay for the price paid. Will not recommend. - This is a passable property in Livingston- about 45 mins from edinburgh. The host was not reachable- we had trouble understanding and opening the main door. The wi-fi does not work and there is no range in this pocket so it was a very challenging 2 day stay. The heater was also not working- we tried to contact the host and were provided some youtube links which did not help.
• Suzy (4/5): Urgently needs a deep clean and maintenance - Spacious It was dirty. The property hadn’t been fully cleaned. The radiator in the downstairs toilet was filthy. Other issues included the bathroom door sticking which meant someone got stuck. We therefore couldn’t fully close the bathroom door for the rest of the trip. No towel in the downstairs toilet and only one teaspoon. Broken mirror in one of the bedrooms. This was all reported to Caledonian Luxe stays
• Tim (4/5): overall very disappointing - size and layout was good we booked for 7 people but only bedding for 6, took a lot of messages and requesting a refund to get them to drop of some extra linen for the 1st night but also tried to blame this problem on us that we didnt advise we needed it for the sofa bed even thought we booked it for 7 people. They delivered the wrong size duvet cover and no towel. Had to follow up numerous times the next day to get it resolved and they finally delivered the correct linen and towel late on the second day. Also the hot water system was not working so we could not have hot showers till the second evening, and we had to sort it out and fix it. Also dishwasher was not working. Also no hand towels in bottom toilet, washing powder for washing machine etc. Overall very dissappointed.
