Guest Reviews
- Stephanie (1/5): Beware, you might not have a place to stay even if you have paid for the stay. - Nothing. This property no longer rents out their room, yet is still online and booking.com took my money two days before we were supposed to stay there. You can imagine my surprise when I went to check in and the property owner acted like I was crazy when I said I was there to check in. I had to show my confirmation page and then the man remembered they used to rent out their room, but haven't for at least 2+ years. How strange. Don't you think the property should have taken themselves off booking.com and booking.com should be aware of who doesn't rent out anymore vs taking over $300 from my account? Then to get a hold of booking.com was a nightmare; the agent acted like it was no big deal that this happened. I might add this was the first game of the 12 seed college football playoff and there were NO rooms in the area to rent that night. This was a night game and put a huge damper on what should have been a complete fun day/night. The Booking.com agent then said she had to escalate this to a supervisor and get ahold of the property to see if I could get a refund. I never heard from anyone again. In my opinion, this was very unprofessional of booking.com. Luckily my Citibank card agent felt differently and immediately refunded me. I will NEVER use booking.com again.
