• Andrea (4/5): Disappointing - House is good size once bedrooms are open. Fast unlimited interent. Good heating in rooms. I was a little lost when arriving, called the host introduced myself and was immediately spoken back saying "I've already sent everything' before I could explain why I was calling. All 4 rooms are locked and non accessible. I made the mistake of choosing the cheaper price which made the booking which changed from 3 people to 1. I traveled with my 2 kids. We got to the house only 1 bedroom was unlocked. When I contacted the host, they said extra $50 to open 2 rooms. That was fine. I asked for top room and a side room open. They said no that's extra $310. They came over within the hour to open 2 rooms. Only 1 draw of cutlery and few pots and pans and plates and glasses. No cleaning items are available, only dishwasher liquid. No dishwasher tablets are available. No vacuum available. Only access to 1 bathroom as 2nd bathroom is in upstairs bedroom locked. There was a note on all side tables of beds saying sleep between the sheets and not under duvet or you will incur a fine of $75. House has a lot of wear and tear. The stair banister is broken and loose on the wall at one end. Staples were sticking up in the carpet between lounge and kitchen. Large dead cochroach in the kitchen.

• Pete (6/5): Great location for where we were going but probably wouldn’t stay there again - We had stayed here last year and it was great This year There were many things different The sugar was only about 2 tsps in it and had other things in it We tipped it out There was no milk this year Whoops probably put that above .. Pillows very hard .. Towels very small Just missing the touches that were there last year No paper towels.. no tissues.. Accessory draw .no tongs serving spoons no scissors or small sharp knifes to open things

• Johanna (5/5): Passable - Location was good for what we needed. Rooms good size. Owner easy to deal with The kitchen is not well stocked - needs salad bowls, grater, fry pan utensils …. This is just the stuff we needed but it did not have. Outdoor furniture would be handy as it’s a nice outdoor area. Could not get the insinkerator to work? House smelled musty when closed up.

• Brenda (8/5): Good space for large group - Very good value for money given that we had a whole house to accomodate the three of us. It meant our other two daughters could hang out with us before going back to their own house in Hamilton and we had room to spread out. Massive lounge with plenty of seats with the 2 couches and 2 lazy boys. Nice and quiet being down a lane even though you were close to a main road. Bonus to have cereals provided but no milk to have with them Will definitely keep this place in mind for future bookings. No milk provided - not sure if that was mentioned in the booking details Think the sugar is kind of old - was an odd mix of raw and white sugar Need more blankets - there was only one on each bed which weren't very thick and only one extra in the wardrobe. Heaters didn't seem to warm up the rooms much

• Michelle (6/5): Plenty of space - This place has a lot of space and would be great for a few days with a few people. It’s not the newest or cleanest but checkin was easy and try e facilities were good. Not the cleanest. Could definitely use a deep clean.

It was very hot upstairs when we arrived in summer, but there were fans to use, so once the windows were open and we went out for a bit it was ok. Didn't like the pillows, but there was one in the cupboard in our room that one of us could use.
• Rose (5/5): Passable - The space? Pillows so so hard! There are no power points in the bathroom. No outside furniture. But mostly the location. I hadn't realized how far it was from the CBD. It cost me $112 in taxi fare. Had I known it was so far out, I would have spent more on accommodation in the CBD.
• Amanda (7/5): Good - Big house. Everything you need. Good location and felt private. Really good value for money House was very hot - fans in all bedrooms helped somewhat. Pillows were all huge and hard... recommend taking your own if you like a softer or flatter pillow
• George (4/5): Not great - Easy to miss the poorly marked entrance lane. The house was scruffy: chipped paint, worn carpets, half-broken armchair.
• Irene (9/5): Met all our needs for the two nights that we stayed - It was the perfect location to where we required to be. All for bedrooms were available to select from. For the price that we paid for both nights between four of us I think it was value for money. There was ample parking for the three required cars one being a Pontiac which was being use as a bridal car. Would I stay again - yes. If I had to make a suggestion which another guest had made in the reviews some serving bowls as there is nothing unless you use a pot or desert plates. If you have an elderly person in your group be aware that they will have to go up and down about 6 steps to go to the toilet. The only other suggestion it the carpet on the steps, I think it is time for this to be replaced as it has worn right through and now it a trip hazard if you were not careful and your tow or shoe good caught.

• Leoma (7/5): The location of the home had great access to the river, the home was spacious. - Great location with a 5 minute walk to access the Waikato river walk. The home wasn’t very clean and didn’t have any tea towels.

• Xia (8/5): The cost-performance ratio is still acceptable, but replacing the pillows could be the quickest way to improve the gue - The space is spacious, and the price is reasonable. The pillows were too high and a bit firm, which caused discomfort for our entire family after a night of sleep. I even couldn't bear it during the night and ended up sleeping on the sofa. The sofa has a reclining footrest, similar to a lazy chair, and it felt much better sleeping there. I sincerely suggest the host consider providing softer and lower pillows in each room, along with some small blankets, as it can get a bit cold at night. The house feels a little old, and I suspect it lacks proper insulation. During the day, the sun heats the house, making it warm, but it gets noticeably cold at night. Updating the wall sockets would make the interior feel more modern, and replacing the carpets could elevate the house's overall comfort and luxury. In fact, this property has a decent amount of space, and with some improvements, it could greatly enhance its value.

The outdoor space was nice and scenic. Just a 2min drive from a little shopping centre too The driveway is shared and a little bit tricky to get in and out of but not a huge inconvenience

• Margaret (10/5): Would recommend Marvelous Munro to anyone. - Easy to find, very central, well equipped, and just a 5 min walk to the Flagstaff shopping centre. Three friends and we each had a bedroom that was quiet and comfortable. Loved the convenience of the two bathrooms and the kitchen had everything you could want. Pillows were a little hard, but that was a very minor issue.

• Lemona (10/5): Comfort! - The Host has clear, concise instructions that are very efficient and easy to follow. It is a lovely spacious villa that is homely and accommodating. Not overly bougie and not crass either. Stayed for a girls weekend for the Womens expo and it was comfortable and great value for money. I would highly recommend to anyone and families too.

Very warm home once the heat pump was on and each room have a heater which was amazing very central to everything and a very lovely home! • Haszard (7/5): All in all a great place to stay. - Great kitchen and very clean There is no power points in the bathroom. As there were no mirrors in the bedrooms it made it hard to blow dry/style the hair. The pillows in both bedrooms were hard - no softer ones to choose from. One bedroom the mattress was super firm.

• Crystal (6/5): Pleasant - Great location, clean, nice kitchen We booked for 4 adults (friends). It’s a 4 bedroom house but owners decided we didn’t need the 4th bedroom after we booked it so we had to share a bed which we weren’t expecting
• Allen (7/5): Nice property shame about the lack of towels but we managed. Good price, would stay again - spacious more seating in living area needed. Some outdoor seating No tin foil/gladwrap/wineglasses, mixing serving bowls if there's a kitchen people are going to want to use it. A BBQ would also be good. WE loaded the dish washer just before we left but couldn't get the door on the soap dispenser to close so we .had to leave it. Also we left our dinner on the bench while we relaxed with a drink came back to find the ants had beaten us to it
