Guest Reviews
- Milan (4/5): -
- Hari (10/5): My partner and I booked a stay in Quays Himalayan on the 9th of September 2025, when there were unprecedented uprisings -
- Rhys (5/5): Old, outdated and noisy area - The room size was good Very noises area. If you want to rest then this is not your place to stay. Music going until 5am. There is nothing luxurious about these apartments. They are old and outdated. They are cheap yes but they aren’t worth anymore money.
No bathroom extraction fan which is always a big problem as it build mould and there was a huge amount of mould in one corner of the bathroom
Very old bed linen and pillows very old
- Amjad (10/5): - Location Torn up bedsheets

- René Samuel (2/5): Locked in the property - Comfortable bed, friendly staff and big room. I didn't expect to much, I was ok with the really loud street noise at night, even with the cockroaches in the bathroom. But it was really bad, when I tried to get out of the building 5:45 am, the main gate (only gate shown to me) was locked. It took some time before the staff showed me another exit, I could've never found myself, that's not locked. I ran but still missed my bus and needed to book a new one... Nobody informed me about this and it was actually kind of scary, knowing you're basically locked in a building. What if there's an emergency inside or you can't get in at night??
- thatparan (9/5): Nice place in the middle coty - Hospitality plus nice location. Also worth for the amount you pay Less attention on cleanliness. You've to request all.

- Prem (8/5): Big Rooms - It was Tourist Hob in Nepal I didn’t like most of the plug for western & looking like old decorations
- Sabin (9/5): Superb -
- Navaldeep (1/5): Not worth the stay - so hard to find the location, doesn't even have their hotel benner in front and says something else..The property was dirty, blocked toilet, bad shower. Had to ask for room service all the time. Don't have the reception and charge way more than the actual price.
- Til (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pancham (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jamuna (9/5): Superb -
- Jule (4/5): Disappointing - The room was big and had a nice view over the city. The location is nice and central, there are lots of shops and restaurants around. The first thing, it was really difficult to find the hotel, because the name outside was another then on booking.com. Then we couldn't find anyone or any reception at first, but then there was a person at the last floor in a private room. Our room was not very clean when we arrived, lots of dust everywhere, the toilet seat was loose an there was lots of hair and bad smell in the bathroom. We had to pay at first and it was kind of shady, the guy who was in the apartemend showed us a whatsapp message with the price an we didn't got any hedging or receipt. In the evening, we went to the cinema and when we came back, the door at the street was closed and it was no way to get back in to the apartemend. When we called the hotel number, a guy came down throught a night club around the corner and guided us throught this nightclub up to the apartement. But it was nowhere to read, that we couldn't get inside after some time. In the night, it was very loud in the stairway from the hotel and because of the night club downstairs. All in all it was very different to the description on booking.com, but for a night ok, when you don't go outside late.
- Md (10/5): Absolutely worth it - Everything was perfect. I just couldn’t imagine this beautiful apartment in the middle of crowd. Felt like home.

- Rose (7/5): Good - Not bad for the price . Nice stay and clean room . Location is quite loud even through the night so isn’t suitable for a light sleeper .
- Karna (8/5): Excellent - The stay was extremely at ease because of its location plus the staff’s response was quick. The spacious room, all the facilities were handy. Overall, the experience was really good. Wish there was a lift but seemed like an unsolvable problem so it’s fine.
- Saurav (10/5): Exceptional - “Had a wonderful stay! The rooms were just as expected; clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The location was absolutely perfect, making it convenient to explore the area. It was also a great value for money, offering comfort and quality at a reasonable price. The overall experience was smooth, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a hassle-free and comfortable stay. Will definitely consider coming back!”

- Manandhar (9/5): The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Thamel, which is perfect if you enjoy being in the middle of the actio - Convenience can be a little noisy
- Christopher (9/5): Clean and Well-Located Apartment with Thoughtful Amenities, Though a Bit Tricky to Find Initially - The apartment was very clean, and the host went above and beyond by providing thoughtful extras like free toothbrushes and toothpaste, which is not commonly expected. The location is also excellent—right at the city entrance and conveniently close to the main tourist attractions. It’s not a major issue, but finding the flat might be a little tricky at first. If needed, you can ask the staff at the nearby Himalayan Spa—they’ll be happy to assist.
- Syed (6/5): Good - Nice location. They need to change the comfort and bed cover ... Feels like using for long term
- Adhikari (5/5): Passable - Nothing extraordinary
Noisy environment
It’s not worth the price
