Guest Reviews
- Geoffrey (9/5): A very big apartment for your entire family - This is a huge apartment on a narrow street. Although it's a bit dated - for example, the neon lights installed into the walls were very nice once, but the heat cycles have caused the paint around them to peel and also the floor needs a good scrubbing - it has a washing machine and a courtyard to dry your laundry in and it has a full kitchen. The WC is at the opposite end of the apartment from the bedroom, but it's all private. It has so much room you could easily have a dance party! (Don't do that because it violates the rules.) The entire apartment is on the ground floor.
The host, Paolo, was *very* responsive. The Internet wasn't working when I arrived, but the issue was simply that a previous tenant had unplugged the 5G router/wifi AP and put it into a cabinet. Everything else was exactly as he said.
The closest attraction is Ursino Castle and its nearby square, about 500 meters away. It's an easy walk to most of the city. Interestingly, the driver on my Mt. Etna tour asked why I chose to stay in that neighborhood because it's "the one place in Catania that the Mafia still runs," but he could have been joking. The central train station is ~2 KM away and you should consider not walking with your bags. (There's one spot where Google Maps takes you onto a very busy traffic rotary with no sidewalks, but you can go around that and the local park under the railroad tracks. It extends your commute, but it's much safer.) Also, don't try to take any shortcuts on the walk from/to the train station as streets that look as if they would be shorter/smoother don't always connect as expected. None of this is Paolo's fault.

- basia (10/5): - A truly worthy choice! The apartament is very spacious and has all the necessary equipment and even more. All the rooms were very clean. The apartament is located very close to the city centre, on the way to the public beach. We are very happy with our trip and our choice of accommodation. Returning to this place in the future will be a pleasure.
The owner of the property is very friendly and ready to help at any time. Thank you!

Do części miasta do zwiedzania też kilkanaście minut pieszo...
- Gabriela (7/5): - All what I needed, close to the centre, comfortable bed, owner was really nice The neighborhood was scary, as a solo traveller I didn’t go after dark
- Karina (1/5): Kommer aldrig igen!
Generelt fugtigt i lejligheden.

- Maria (8/5): Great Apartment, it’s very spacious and comfortable, kitchen is very well equipped :) - Very spacious and comfortable apartment with all you need :) for a nice holiday in Catania. Maybe the only thing is that there was not aircon but there were plenty of fans so It was ok.
- Karen (10/5): Spacious clean apartment, perfect for friends, couples or small family - The pictures don't do this place justice! We were amazed by the size and cleanliness of the apartment. I stayed with a friend so we requested extra sheets in the evening. The owner brought it in the evening and also kept in touch with us throughout our stay. He gave us a new coffee machine with extra coffee pods which we really appreciated. We loved everything.
- Danushka (9/5): Happy to find a cosy and quiet place in this crazily noisy city -
- Eleonora (9/5): Superb - The apartment was exactly as pictured, everything matched the description. It's conveniently close to all tourist attractions. Paolo was incredibly friendly, always prompt in responding, and willing to assist with any questions. Definitely recommend. The only downsides were that it was a bit chilly, and there was an unpleasant smell from the bathroom, but I believe that's common in older cities, so I don't consider it a major issue.
- Porzsolt (9/5): Just a short recommendation, a couple of wine glasses would be excellent for guests. - The location was good, the facilities were all right, the host was very helpful. There is a tiny little inner court, that is pleasant. Unfortunately in these old houses there is a smell of water ducts, but that cannot be helped. Also the noise of the water pump can be disturbing, but we were all day gone, and during the night it was silence. So it was not a problem.
- Karolina (10/5): Lovely stay, definitely recommended! - I can give only the best rating!
- Owner was very friendly and helpful. Thanks a lot!
- apartment was after renovation, everything felt like brand new 🤩
- very good location, close to Piazza del Duomo
- apartment was very cozy and specious. I felt like at home Sicilians get little bit crazy on New Years Eve, so sometimes I felt like in the middle of the war 😂
- Malcolm (9/5): Un ottimo apartment - The apartment was spacious and clean There are 2 TV's and even a capsule/pod coffee machine. The owner Paolo was very helpful and kind and was easy to contact. I have been to Southern Italy many times and have learned to accept that 'things' are not as they are in Northern Europe and America. The poor state of many of the streets outside the centre and the fast speed which motorcycles and cars travel along the narrow streets may be a problem for some people
- Kamila (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely freshly renovated apartment in great location. Very helpful host who was always there if needed.
- Mohamed (10/5): Exceptional - The location is central and the place is super clean.
- Tereza (8/5): Very good - we (4 people) stayed for 4 nights, the apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable, the location was great, very close to the city center, enough hot water for everybody and the water pressure was good as well. Overall a good experience, great value for money for sure. the downside was a water pump that was very loud and was working constantly, during the night as well (but earplugs will save you), also plastic cutlery and glasses surprised us, but maybe that’s just temporary. The neighbourhood is not very clean, but most of the city isn’t so…
