• Sally Morris (10/5): Will keep coming back! Fantastic accommodation and super pub with great food. - The location is beautiful, Elham is one of the nicest villages I have been lucky enough to stay in. I also walked around the village with my dog Lottie and surrounding countryside, it's stunning!

• michelle (10/5): Absolutely fantastic stay at The Kings Arms. - The cottage was lovely with unique rooms and immaculately clean. The bed was super comfy. Beautiful added touches like the chocolate brownies, complementary water. Free parking. Great communications with the host. The pub was fantastic. Food was amazing and staff were super friendly. There was live music on also which was fab. Will definitely be returning.
• Sally Morris (10/5): Will 100% be back to stay for longer hopefully. Would love to explore the Elham Valley - The property was stunning, I'm guessing recently renovated. The standard was exceptional, the attention to detail second to none. I was so impressed with the decor and the communal areas kitchen, living room and garden so beautifully furnished and no expense spared. The King's Arms pub was also top notch, I arrived late due to traffic and the kitchen was about to close but this wasn't a problem I was still able to order. The staff were so super friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious. The fact that I couldn't stay longer, one night just wasn't enough! As I said before exceptional accommodation.

Carefully renovated property with characterful rooms (as pictured) and the benefits of a great pub - Beautifully renovated property adjacent to a characterful country pub. Excellent facilities including kitchen and lounge area/fireplace shared across 5/6 rooms. No breakfast facility but kitchen area is very well equipped. Arrangement worked really well for us.

• Alastair (9/5): Friendly, comfortable pub accommodation in a lovely setting - The rooms are in a building next to the pub. Recently and very nicely renovated, with great attention to detail. The rooms themselves are medium-sized - enough for the dog to sleep in but not places to lounge. But the building has a fully (and very nicely) equipped kitchen, dining table, sitting room and log fire. Since we were out of season we had this entirely to ourselves. I don't know how it would feel with more people staying. The pub is very cozy, also very nicely renovated, with good food and friendly staff. Only two (I think) of the rooms have baths - the top floor which doesn't take dogs and one of the smaller rooms. With hindsight we might have gone for the latter - after long, enjoyable walks a long soak is nice. Also note the beds are kingsize, so easily large enough for two (and very comfortable) but people (like us) used to larger beds will have to adjust!

We’d certainly stay again and have already recommended to friends. This is only my option but the bed was a bit too firm for me personally and the A/C unit light in the bedroom is very bright.

• Rob (10/5): Een echte aanrader - Mooi appartement op een locatie dicht bij de Eurotunnel en dicht bij de pub waar we heerlijk hebben gegeten. De kamer was groot genoeg, de badkamer heel fijn. Er is een keukentje beneden waar je koffie of thee kunt zetten, wat prima is. Voor 1 nacht helemaal prima. Ik zag een folder liggen met daarin een 4-tal wandelingen. Helaas geen tijd voor. Een aandrader Het was in het donker even zoeken naar het sleutelkastje, maar met tips van het personeel goed gevonden. De pub is op een zaterdag heerlijk afgeladen. Dus wel even op tijd reserveren als je er wat wilt eten.
