- Sallie Ashworth (10/5): Little hideaway in Stonehaven - Loved Stonehaven. The little Flat was clean and bright. Great Artwork and such a nice bedroom with a very comfy bed. Very near to the Beach and the shops. The street was nice and quiet. There is an amazing park with fabulous walks. Thank you. The Sofa wasnt comfortable but everything else was great.
- malcolm (10/5): - The property was awesome. Perfect for the guest I had over from the USA. Great location, super clean and had everything needed.
- John (10/5): Very enjoyable better than expected would recommend it - Facilities were modern & quite new. Location was fine. Clean & comfy & well equiped TV for us quite difficult to master due to our age
- Margarita (9/5): - Location, ground floor, all you need for self catering ,liked the town and walks around the coast, many interesting places to visit The accommodation was cold.
- Alex (10/5): Good, spacious flat well situated for access to town, beach, walks, pubs, woods. - Good location. Spacious flat. Clean and well appointed.
- Karen (8/5): Good flat location was ideal. We enjoyed our stay - The locality. The size of the accommodation The bed was too soft for us. And the heating going off at set times. It was very cold
- Ann (8/5): Pleasant and enjoyable overall. Would recommend to others. - Location excellent.Town lovely. Location for a short break or Christmas getaway was very good. Nice to have beach walks and the harbour to see. Also Dunottar castle. All in all a good destination for a holiday. In winter, an improved regulation of heating the property. As we stayed in the flat for Xmas dinner and most of the day, it became rather cold especially bedroom, hallway and bathroom. The living area was fine as it was supplemented with a fire. During most of the day the heating was programned to be off. Fine for summer but chilly in winter.

- Robert (9/5): Cosy and comfortable. - Comfortable, hot shower, lovely kitchen Heating requires time resetting for on and off to work for all three heaters
- Andrea (8/5): -
- Paul (9/5): Very good - Cosy , modern
- O'Doherty (7/5): Good value property in a great location. - Very clean property. Goood decor. Well maintained property. Bed was very comfortable. Lovely town to be in. Clear instructions from host to get in. Sofa bed not very comfy. Very strong smell from multiple air fresheners. No proper table to eat at. Heating did not come on ( luckily it was mostly warm enough so didn't contact host)
- Zillis (9/5): - L'endroit est idéal pour se promener dans la région, on est à 10 minutes à pied du port. On peut se balader le long des falaises, rejoindre un magnifique château.
- Wendy (10/5): - We had a fantastic stay here! The location is absolutely perfect, making it easy to get around and explore. The space was wonderfully clean and surprisingly spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax. We also appreciated that the property was so well-equipped; it genuinely had everything we needed for a comfortable and easy visit. Highly recommend!"
- Sandra (7/5): It was enjoyable - Good location
- Dave (10/5): Very pleasant and met all expectations.Great apartment! - The settee was a bit uncomfortable and maybe could have had a couple more towels.

- Margaret (7/5): Overall enjoyed location and stay. - Large, well-equipped kitchen and good shower. Comfortable bed and pillows. Easy street parking. Unable to open any windows so stuffy inside and lack of fresh air.
- Bregje (9/5): - Cozy appartment, great kitchen and good location
- Mary (8/5): A pleasant, handy place to stay in a very popular town. Just comfy seating and ventilation an issue - We know the area and knew the location would be fine. Very clean. Good shower and lots of hot water.
We could take the dog. Windows not within reach to open. No ventilation in the hot weather.
Sofa bed was not comfortable to sit in during the evening after long days.
- Rebekka (10/5): - Sehr schönes Appartement mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail. Ein kleiner Weg und man hat eine phantastische Aussicht auf die Bucht von Stonehaven.
- Lukas (9/5): -
- Stephen (3/5): Mold smell led me to cut my stay short - Kitchen was reasonably well equipped. Short walk to Stonehaven center and harbor. Unfortunately, I was unable to complete my stay at this property due to a noticeable moldy smell upon arrival, especially in the entrance hallway. The smell was immediately perceptible throughout the apartment. I contacted the owner within an hour of check-in. While the apartment appeared clean, the air quality was concerning and triggered my mold sensitivity.
Since I arrived in the evening and finding alternate lodging at short notice would have been difficult, I informed the owner I would begrudgingly stay one night and then leave the following morning. I did not feel comfortable remaining in the space for the full booking.
While others may not notice the smell, I believe those with mold allergies or sensitivities should be aware of this potential issue. I found no visible mold to document, but the odor in the air was noticeable and persistent.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (9/5): Superb - Well appointed
Central to Stonehaven
Good information from Maria Seagulls
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - There was everything in the apartment you needed There was nothing we didn't like
- John (8/5): Nice little cottage close to facilities and sights. - Nice little terraced cottage a brisk walk to shops, pubs and the port. Owner/manager just a phone call away. Good facilities and utensils provided. Could not access internet at all. Owner kept referring us to the signs in the cottage but these did not provide ac cess. This should be a quick fix - check and correct signs' instructions.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Great stay all locations easily reached by walking. - Code for Internet didn't work stuggled ti get TV on netflix channels.Hall electric radiator did not appear to work.
- Meche-marie (10/5): One of the best short breaks we have had. - We loved the decor and how homely the apartment was. The location was great, close enough to town for the busy parts but just far enough out for peace and quiet. The place was really beautiful, we are already looking to book again for summer. Everything was perfect.
- Leeann (10/5): The place was lovely clean every homely, hopefully we’ll be able to stay here again in a few months -
- Ian (8/5): Good solid house. - Given wrong code but sorted over phone. Heating and bathroom heating.

- Philip (10/5): Great stay - The apartment was like a home from home with everything there that was needed Nothing to dislike
- Lesley (10/5): Exceptional - The location and decor especially the bathroom Only one criticism it would be better to have a bigger mirror in the bathroom .
- Rich (10/5): Beautiful home in the middle of a gem of a town in a great part of the country. - Great location, comfortable and really good facilities. Nothing
- Stewart (10/5): Exceptional - Sofa was a little uncomfortable
- Ian (8/5): Great little place for Stonehaven. - Quirky appartment with a shabby chique look. Bathroom great. Bed very comfortable. Really quiet. Electric heaters left the rooms a little cool. Electric heater in bathroom needs bleeding and therefore the bathroom felt cold.
- Angela (8/5): Very comfortable and excellent location - Immaculate, close to all amenities, quiet and very comfortable bed.
- Jodie (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully kept. Everything you need is there. Lovely art work. Cosy and super clean.
Felt very much at home. Absolutely nothing
- Charles (8/5): Very nice flat ,and convenient access to shops ietc - Convenient location for the amenities Had problems with the television, as we could not find any instructions
- Ian (9/5): Superb -
- Laura (8/5): Cosy base for exploring Stonehaven - Lovely cosy flat, perfect bolthole for a few days exploring Stonehaven. Nothing
- Stephen (8/5): We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. - A good location close to town and a good spot to use as base for wider exploration. No dyer to accompany the washing machine, particularly given all the recent rain, not a show stopper though.
- Sarah (9/5): Great stay - Cute well appointed apartment with a very comfy bed and great shower. Nothing
- Pauline (8/5): Very good - The apartment layout
Interior design was well thought out and worked well.
- Julie (8/5): Really enjoyed Stonehaven and the apt was amazing - A sofa bed in the lounge would have been better than camp bed.
- Lesley (9/5): Superb -
- Lorraine (8/5): Clean , good location , easy parking - Location was great . Parking was easy and right outside on the street .
Very clean Sofa a bit small for 2 adults and not very comfy.
- Judith (7/5): Enjoyable stay. Well equipped comfortable apartment. - Great kitchen, well equipped. The windows needed cleaning on the outside.
- Mark (10/5): Fantastic cosy flat - Loved the layout and decor of the flat and the location so close to town centre and walking distance from most amenities ps loved the art work Nothing
- Trevor (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Leah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (8/5): Very good - The apartment is comfy, well equipped and great location. The sofa isn't the comfiest and would be better as a sofa bed rather than the fold up bed from the cupboard.
It would be nice to have an area in the communal garden to sit out, wouldn't take much to tidy the area outside the bedroom window and put a small seated area.
Could the windows in the bedroom and bathroom be able to open, for fresh air but also for a fire safety exit.
Would be good to have a non slip mat in the shower as the cubicle is a bit slippy.
- Jenny (5/5): Passable -
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Malcolm (8/5): Very good -
- Peggy (8/5): Lovely little property close to harbour. Very responsive to messages. Would stay here again. Nice cafes and restaurants& - Short walk from the harbour. Able to park easily on street right by the door. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Nice artwork. Quite chilly but warms up with the electric heater.
- Simone (10/5): Exceptional -
- Taylor (9/5): Superb - Very clean and neat. The sofa was quite small and not very comfortable as the only lounge seating .
- Roberta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stewart (8/5): Very good - Nice & clean & modern Heating wasn't up to much was cold sometimes and didn't like the 2 seater sofa
- Kirsten (9/5): Would come back in the better weather - The flat was nice and had mostly everything we needed for a short visit. The location was great. There was no wardrobe in the bedroom. Even though the heating was set for specific times it was still cold in the bedroom and bathroom. I should have reported this to the host but as we were only visiting for three days and were planning to be out most of the time I didn't. This was my mistake as I didn't give the host time to rectify the issue. When I did contact Jess she responded very quickly and said she would look into it. By that time it was too late but hopefully will be fixed for the next person visiting the property.
- Mary (8/5): Loved it - All of it N/a
- John (7/5): Good -
- Des (10/5): The stay was excellent and great communication from the host as it was a self check in . Really good attention to detail - Excellent in all aspects. Can’t fault . Great location for my needs. All good .
- Howard (8/5): Very good -
- Tracey (10/5): Perfectly located apartment - Location: only few mins walk to town centre & beach. Only a few minutes walk to woods, castle, shops, restaurants & harbour
Apartment, clean, tidy & brightly furnished.
Kitchen great range of cooking utensils, toaster, oven, microwave etc Light, very dim in living room & no additional lamps, for an older person who needs reading glasses, could have done with brighter.
Towel rail great that heated but only bottom section worked.
- Roisin (10/5): Great flat, lovely walks to beach and close to shops, definitely highly recommend - Clean, fresh and comfortable Nothing
- Ross (9/5): Lovely short stay - - Lovely ground floor flat in a quiet street near the town square and about 15 minutes walk from the harbour
- Spotlessly clean and tidy
- Full size kitchen with all appliances inc large fridge/freezer. Large TV with Freesat and TV apps
- Wifi easy to connect to
- Bedroom is big enough, bed comfortable.
- Looks like a newly fitted bathroom of good quality.
- On street parking but never any problem getting a space.
- Dog friendly
I'd happily book again if returning to Stonehaven I caveat this with the flat being lovely and this is nitpicking.
- Stiff front door lock needs adjusted
- Overpowering fragrance smell from scent devices.
- Slight drip from the kitchen tap gets annoying when watching tv in the open plan lounge
- Kitchen blinds don't close fully meaning not much privacy at night from those waling up the street.
- No wardrobe or place to hang clothes in the bedroom. Too many pillows taking up space once moved off bed. Large padlocked wicker chest taking up space, presumably with bed linen. Rejigging space could facilitate a wardrobe.
- No back door, so letting the dog out at night requires you to go out the front door and round the end block to the communal gardens in the pitch black. No security lights. Take a torch.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (9/5): Very good - Convenient Needs a clothes drier
- Beth (10/5): Stonehaven stay - Beautiful flat, great location, extremely helpful host. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Nothing.
- Lynsey (9/5): Very easy, very comfortable, just what I needed. - The accommodation was perfect! The hallway smelled a little damp. But it was minimal. Other than that it was wonderful!
- Dorothy (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): Sept 23 - Good location and clean and tidy Sofa a bit on the small side for a large gentleman....
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - We love Stonehaven and have stayed in a few different apartments. This one by far was my favourite. Lovely quiet street, very close to all amenities. Very tastefully furnished. Everything you need provided for.
Would definitely recommend and I hope to stay again.
- Gill (9/5): Superb -
- Maggie (8/5): Accommodation had everything needed and great that we could bring our little dog along. - Location a great base for exploring the area Maybe a better blind at the kitchen window for more privacy.
- Blair (8/5): Very good -
- George (8/5): Bright convenient flat suited our needs for a couple of days - Bright open space Good location and parking at the door-convenient layout, shower room well appointed, kitchen well fitted, good fridge freezer, although breakfast bar was too narrow and toaster inadequate
I liked the quirky decor and soft furnishings and it suited us for the two nights that we stayed-no drawers or wardrobes for clothes although plenty of hooks to hang things on -a letter of welcome with some helpful information about the local amenities would have been appreciated As stated above
- John (3/5): Poor - The location was good. The shower was good. The kitchen was good but needs to be cleaned better. There was nowhere to hang clothes in a wardrobe or hanging rail. There are no drawers, so for 3 nights it's living from a suitcase. There was no where to eat at a table. Too much clutter
- Daveb6580 (8/5): Perfect for getting your head down. Located near the square was perfect. - Ease of access and location. Cleanliness. No wardrobe to hang clothes if you are staying longer. Hooks on back of door though.
- Mclaughlan (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (8/5): excellent clean venue and great wifi signal - First time of booking apartment instead of Hotel. We enjoyed the experience and the freedom and independence from a Hotel regimen. We would definately consider doing this again. No parking problems and close to town centre. One slight impediment was an uncomfortable couch apart from this the venue was perfect.
- Mr (10/5): Property on streets - It was on the ground and it only had one door to lock TV yes his muddles but it was on demand, if you can't get the square to work on the TV then it can be a bit too expose of the other people if you're doing logging
- Deirdre (10/5): Best place we’ve stayed in Stonehaven. Better than a hotel - A modern, comfortable and beautifully decorated cottage about a five minute walk from the Market Square. Perfect for a couple.
- Dominic (10/5): Property was spotlessly clean great location access was trouble free and the added advantage of on street parking outsi - Cleanliness of property, facilities, location, parking N/A
- Jason (10/5): lovely place to stay.. pictures on booking.com may get want to be updated as it was much better than expected.. p.s. wo - great location and loved the artwork nothing
- David (8/5): Very good - Ideal size. Felt very comfortable and could happily have stayed longer. Initial difficulty in getting access and no answer when called. Had to contact Booking.com to get sorted. Appears entry details went to my junk. TV instructions would be useful. Channels all over the place. No holder in shower area for soap etc. Potential slip hazard.
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional - Great Location. Parking right outside flat.
