• dayalini (5/5): - L'accueil du personnel chaleureux et amical. Le repas non adapté pour les personnes ne mangeant pas de viande, le non respect des autres passagers de l'espace commune et balade très courte sur le lac.
• Proma (8/5): Decent stay but facilities need upgradation. - The staff were helpful, the view was great, and the food was delicious. The bathroom amenities were scanty (only one medimix soap was provided), and the room didn't have a luggage storage space (the lack of it made us keep our luggage on the floor which made things difficult for us).
• PHILIPPE (6/5): - The cabin crew were lovely and friendly. The meals were excellent. Le trajet et les étapes étaient moyennes. C est vraiment dommage que nous retournions au point de départ, au port, pour la nuit. L endroit n était pas joli. Il aurait été plus sympathique de passer la nuit là où nous pouvions faire un tour avec un plus petit bateau. A cet endroit, il était possible de descendre du bateau pour se promener et voir la vie locale.
• Orla (7/5): Magic - Gorgeous boat, lovely staff and very accommodating. Food was delicious too! Air con in room was directly over bed and quite cold, but was too hot without it. But being on a boat rooms were small so not something you can do much about.

• Mariella (7/5): Nice experience but overall expensive - - the reservations team were responsive over WhatsApp and helped our driver get to them - The boat staff were attentive, welcoming and friendly - The views from the room were fantastic - Mingling with other Indian families as it was school holidays (we were the only foreigners in the boat) - meals were nice (lunch and dinner in particular) You are required to fill a form upon check out so I’ll share the same feedback. - Attention to detail: the room had one large towel for two people. We asked for more and were given an extra one. There wasn’t a hand towel either and the only amenities were a bar of soap. - the room had dusty surfaces, they were visible - upon check in ideally the meal times should be explained as we ended up chasing staff asking about them + bottle wine (they forgot about it but got it for dinner - skip the wine as it’s not a nice and small) - it’s hot season and the worst bit was that the aircon went off in the middle of the night. It was impossible to sleep. Apparently something went off that affected all aircons. - for over 100 euros a night; it felt expensive compared to other accommodation in the area
• Hanudel (6/5): PLEASANT BUT MOSTLY DOCKED EXPERIENCE - Our Royal Houseboats stay had some definite positives. The staff was kind and attentive throughout our time onboard, providing good service with friendly attitudes. The views of the backwaters were pretty, offering peaceful scenes of local life along the shores. However, our main disappointment was spending so much time docked rather than actually cruising - we had hoped to explore more of the waterways. While it was a pleasant enough experience, the limited cruising time left us wanting more from our backwater adventure. If you're considering booking, just be aware that you might spend more time stationary than sailing. I wish we were on the open water more, and the experience was accurately advertised. They only had spicy food options, which was an issue for my dietary restrictions, but true to Indian cuisine.
