• Mohammed (7/5): Good - The house is pretty nice, room modest but it was fine for our short stay, the AC was really helpful due the hot weather, everything was nice and clean. Maybe the location is a bit hidden and the road that takes to the hotel a bit rough but good location close to the airport
• Ayu (5/5): Not bad but not good… - It was clean I arrived almost midnight, but one boy was waiting for me. I appreciated it, But there’s no name or signboard so you won’t realize where is it, because one family is living in the same building. so you need to call them when you close, it means you must have internet before you arrive, and the boy can’t speak English well… so we talked via Google translate. And they didn’t give me the key for main gate, so you have to call them every time when you come back…it was bit annoying…

• Laletorres (8/5): Fine for a short stay - We stayed at the Kwale residence for one night, and it was conveniently close to the airport, which made it easy to catch our early flight the next morning. The beds were comfortable, and having AC and a kitchen was a plus. Overall, the Kwale residence was fine for a short stay if you're just passing through and need a place to sleep before your next flight. We did feel that the place could use a bit more attention to cleanliness specially in the kitchen area and utensiles. The neighborhood was modest, there were only a couple of small stores nearby and the place is a little bit hard to locate, (our driver got lost in the morning). But, the biggest issue for us was the internet. The WiFi connection was very poor, and getting online required a PIN from the landlord, which was difficult to reach since we didn’t have a Tanzanian SIM card, so we had to rely on Adam to get in touch. This made it tricky to contact our driver the next day who was late because he got lost.

• Yu-chan (8/5): A very clean and comfortable place except for somehow no water for shower from 10pm till 7am. - Very clean room and house. Very comfortable with an A/C and a ceiling fan. Nice warm shower with good water pressure. I wish they didn’t turn off the water pressure pump soon after 9 or 10pm. It led to no water let alone hot water for shower till about 7am. The dogs nearby literally barked nonstop all night for three days during my stay.

• Blair (8/5): Just what I needed and the price was right. - I was looking for a place to take a shower and get some sleep before flying out of ZNZ. It was perfect for that. Close to the airport. I will admit that it was difficult to get to. Overall I was happy with my stay.
• Katri (9/5): Nice homestyle accommodation close to airport - Very clean and air-contioned room. Beds were big and good. Close to airport and city which was perfect for us. Very nice staff who helped us with everything. Little hard to find at first (middle of alleys)

• Veronika (8/5): Amazing place close from airport - Amazing place if you need to sleep close to the airport. Everything was super clean and the apartment had all the facilities that were advertised. I arrived early morning to Zanzibar and at night I had flight to Arusha. So I had to spend 1 day in Zanzibar and catch up some sleep. This place was perfect for this short trip. They allowed me to so check in at 8am, which I was very greatful for. I recommend this property for sure :)
• Corine (1/5): Couldnt locate the property - Taxi driver drive around for 40mins and couldn’t find the property. Locals did not know this place existed even and directions provided by the property weren’t accurate. We were just looking for somewhere to stay on our final night before an early flight, did not need the extra stress this gave us to end our holiday!
• Ximena (8/5): Good accommodation close to the airport - Close to airport. Communication about pick up was a bit confusing as they were sending links to review my stay without having stayed. Breakfast is very basic.
• Sarah (9/5): Superb - We stayed here only one night before our flight, the accomodation was perfect for us, air con was working, hot water in the shower , the location wasn’t an issue in our case as we rented a scooter at the airport on our first day on the island it’s only 11min drive from stone and 6 min airport

Also, it’s very clean and nicely renovated. The district around the airport is just not neat, so nothing to dislike about the hotel, inside is great.

• Riziki (7/5): Lovely guesthouse in a friendly and quiet neighbourhood - the perfect base to explore Zanzibar from! - Comfortable and modern furniture in both the living room area and our rooms. Lovely, comfortable beds. Mosquito nets on all of the windows. Lovely, modern kitchen with all the plates, tools and cutlery that you would need and more. Big fridge freezer which can be used by all the guests and air conditioning and fans throughout the property. The property felt safe and secure with a gated entrance, individual keys for all the bedrooms and a friendly young man serving as security for the guesthouse. Cleaner was friendly and worked meticulously every morning to keep the house clean for guests, offering us laundry as well. Located in a friendly neighbourhood and just a five-minute walk from the main road, where you can find food, toiletries, restaurants and more. Owner was available over text and WhatsApp for any questions or concerns. A taxi from the property to Stone Town only costs about 20,000 TZS. Only a few little things - In the shared bathroom, there was no mosquito net across the whole window, so it was the only part of the property which wasn't completely safe in terms of mosquitos and preventing bites. There was also no mirror in this bathroom, or the twin bedroom. There was no hot water throughout the property, including both the showers and kitchen sink. The Wi-Fi was quite slow and didn't work very well, especially if multiple guests were using it. Only a little thing, but there was no microwave despite booking.com saying it had one.

• Dalia (10/5): Perfect stay close to the airport - The room I stayed in (Nest) was fantastic. Huge bed, all seemed new and really clean. I only stayed the night but I could see the rest of the house was impeccable, kitchen would be great to cook in should anyone want to. Lovely clean minimalistic setting inside and local touches in the lovely patio. Lovely staff. Would definitely return. I wish there was a sign outside, even if a little one, to identify the house.

• Suné (9/5): It was quite and we felt rested the next morning before heading to the airport which is close. - It was clean and the AC was lovely in the heat. It is also close to the airport, the next morning we walked to the airport (we only have backpacks and it took about 20-30 minutes) The wifi was really bad. And there isn’t hot water, but this is everywhere in Zanzibar. The fridge was not working. The road to go to the property is bad, but it’s not the property’s fault.

The house is equipped with all the necessary furniture and even more, modern appliances in the kitchen, a new quiet air conditioner in the bedroom. Perfect cleanliness everywhere! Comfortable large bed with lots of pillows, good towels. And it's perfect white! The owner is a very nice young man. He arrived on our last evening to collect payment for accommodation. And he kindly offered to eat together in a good cafe and take us back home or take us to the supermarket if we needed. There is always an assistant and a guard on the territory of the house. And in the morning a nice lady comes to clean the house. This is a safe and comfortable place. We felt at home! The label on the booking corresponds to reality. I recommend everyone to stay in this wonderful house! Nothing

The location close to the airport and places to eat and its wonderful helpful host. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and very happy to recommend to others. nothing! exceed my expectations greatly as the place I'd stayed the night before was in similar price range and didn't even come close to the level of cleanliness and comfort of this guest house.
