Niestety, wybraliśmy kiepski moment w roku. Do takiego domu najlepiej jechać latem, gdy kamienne mury chłodzą i dają odetchnąć od upału. W marcu trzeba było się dogrzewać piecykiem, który niestety nie dawał upragnionego ciepła...
• Claudia (5/5): Could be brilliant, but... - Valletta house review This is an elegant traditional town house that has a lot going for it in terms of location for Valletta activities, and within walking distance for buses elsewhere. However the owner is seemingly careless about a number of things that would be simple to resolve. These include: an adaptor plug in the kitchen that is stuck fast in a loose (and dangerous) non-working socket, meaning the only way to use the kettle and toaster was to get our own adaptor for a working socket (in any case why are there appliances in the house with non-standard plugs?); a mirror light in the downstairs bathroom paired with the overhead light that flashes on and off the whole time; the downstairs toilet missing its lid; the movement sensor for the upstairs bathroom light is badly positioned, meaning the light goes off while showering; the shower head upstairs leaks badly; and the lighting in the kitchen and small living room is dim and far from warm. Finally, this was the first place we’ve stayed in that offered no tips on the best local shops etc, how to operate the TVs and boxes, or handling/sorting rubbish. We informed the booking agent of some of the more serious issues at the start of the week, and were told they were passing this on to the owner. But we heard nothing back. In short, a not inexpensive rent for a decent house that nevertheless needs more thoughtful management and attention to justify the asking price. See above
• Katarzyna (6/5): - Lokalizacja świetna. Blisko przystanek autobusowy, ale także piechotą blisko wszystkich atrakcji. Wnętrza klimatyczne. W dolnym pokoju na ścianie znaleźliśmy żywego skorpiona. Niby niegroźne, ale trudno było potem zasnąć. Słaby zapach na dole.
• Aniello (7/5): Consigliata sì, ma solo per una coppia - Ottima posizione. La stanza da letto al piano di sopra, il bagno al piano di sopra e il balcone mi sono piaciuti. Il piano seminterrato non mi è piaciuto. La stanza da letto è bassa e il bagno minuscolo.

• stephen (6/5): Traditional town house centrally located and nr a convenience store but needs electrics checking. - Great house and location. Steps away from the shop for provisions. Arrived late at night. It would have been nice to have a welcome pack for breakfast. The upstairs shower room fuse broken and so no hot water. The oven stopped working halfway through cooking our first meal. On occasions Lights flickered in the basement. Stair rope not secure. Kettle very hot. Scald Hazzard. Lovely little town house for 4 but needs some tlc. Standards allowed to slip and no help from the owner when reported.

• karen (10/5): - Beautiful old town house .. located in a quiet part of Valetta with the benefit of a rocky beach just across the road. This house provides an excellent base for exploring the old town and also only 10 mins walk to the fast ferry to Gozo

• Gary (1/5): Terrible terrible and did I say terrible! - Beautiful house! Really stunning Nothing works! We arrived Thursday leaving today and still nothing works! The management company tell lies thinking customers are idiots! I feel for the owner and why they are paying a management fee! The worst Maltese experience! Avoid this place and stay in a hotel! It's just rubbish rubbish
• Catherine (8/5): The owner was so friendly and helpful, the property was comfortable for the duration of our stay, and helped immerse us - The property was extremely clean and decorated well. The old stone is beautiful and the bedrooms are a decent size. The downstairs room did smell a little of damp, but I understand that in old houses that may be difficult to remedy.

• Kate (9/5): Gorgeous traditional Valetta apartment - Lovely apartment in Valetta! The experience was smooth with no issues. 2 bedrooms, one on the lower basement level, which was big and roomy with a vaulted ceiling. It has its own bathroom with shower. However, the shower is not huge, so some may struggle but was modern and tiled. There are steps leading down to this room, which are a little steep. The second bedroom on the first floor is smaller but with an enclosed balcony. The bathroom is larger, once again tiled throughout. Towels, hand soaps, and shower cream provided but no shampoo or Conditioner. Also on the first floor is a small room with tv and two cosy armchairs and a juliett balcony. There is a tiny cubbyhole with steps to a very small hidden bed ideal for an older child. The kitchen is back downstairs on the first floor, accessed by a marble staircase, which is beautiful. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with washing machine, kettle toaster and microwave, and a large fridge freezer. Everything you need If you decide to cook. The property is accessed with a coded lockbox, and you receive details on arrival. It is a gorgeous traditional property with plenty of storage and was spotlessly clean. I would avoid however if you have mobility issues. The kitchen is dark with a lack of lighting, which makes it difficult to cook. But then who cooks on holiday? We did not see the owner at all but did notice the apartment had been accessed while we were out to collect his mail. There was no safe in the property.
• Sofia (3/5): Poor - It was a traditional, well decorated townhouse. Firstly, The house should have been equipped with duvets since it is winter and not with thin blankets. Secondly, the owner should have checked the air conditioning/ heating. I sent him an email before going to Malta asking about the heating. Most of all, the owner ignored our request for an extra blanket and fixing the air-conditioning/heating . Additionally, the people who answered our request and they assured us that they informed the owner, they did not send us a new message that our request would not be implemented. It was really cold inside the apartment!
• Ilina (10/5): Exceptional - Very authentic stone town house, in one of the narrow streets of magical Valletta. Comfortable, clean, big enough for four persons. Top location, ferry port and bus terminal close (5 to 15 min walk), close to Valletta atractions. The beach is also very close, but we didn't use it (october).
• Gabriel (8/5): A cozy place to stay in La Valletta - The location! Close to the city center but with the feeling of a traditional neighborhood. The ceilings in the ground floor bedroom are low and occasionally there may be a slight musty smell.

In fact, you couldn't get any in the second bedroom on the top floor. The host was not quick to respond either. Would have been nice to have beach towels.

• Anne (7/5): Great location and great apartment - communication and response to issues needs a lot of improvement. - It was very historic and a great location. Easy to get to all the major historic attractions, even by walking. The internet never worked. Repeated messages to the management company and no response and no resolution. We had 7 days of no internet service. This would have been a much more positive review had this problem been fixed in a timely fashion.

• Ed (10/5): Wonderful! - The accommodation exceeded our expectations. If we had known how nice it was, we would have booked for longer. The accommodation is lovingly decorated, the beds very comfortable, everything you need is there in the kitchen and overall it is very clean. We would love to come back!
• Anonymous (4/5): Very disappointing with regard to the accommodation. - The location was good The apartment bore no resemblance to the photos I saw online! There was no mention of 2 sets of steep spiral stairs. One shower is so small I could not fit in it! (I weigh 51kgs). The TV did not work , and was not fixed as promised. Extra towels were not delivered as promised. Information regarding where to store luggage was not received as promised. The apartment has poor lighting, shocking layout, smells of sewage, a broken teapot and a dangerous and broken handrail on one set of stairs.
