Guest Reviews
- sandra (10/5): Wow!,wow,wow.... - Glenastar was a wonderful property to stay at.
There were 11 in our party. Plenty of room for all of us to congregate and also have quiet times alone.
The quality of fixtures, fittings and decor throughout Glenastar are exceptional. The gardens are secluded and private and there is a lovely walk from the lodge to a beautiful waterfall.
Newcastle West is a hub of boutiques so if you like shopping it's perfect for men and women!
The charity shops had some great buys as well!
Because the Lodge is out of town we needed a taxi to get too and from it.
The owner even helped organise this for us. Organising a minibus and driver. Fantastic 👏
They could not do enough for us and were on the end of a phone if we needed anything.
Our welcome pack on arrival was out of this world.
The boys loved the golf and managed to dodge the showers and play 3 rounds.
Thank you, Seamus, Caroline and the team for making our stay at Glenastar so memorable.
It truly was the best experience and we very much hope to return in the not too distant future.
- Charlene (10/5): An exceptional property - An absolutely beautiful home with a tremendous welcome. We loved the tranquil setting and the spaciousness of the property, which suited our group perfectly. Highly recommended.
- Richard (10/5): Luxury in the quiet country. - Very quiet, remote setting with no expense spared on decorating. Very comfortable for group meetings. Quirky hidden doors, and a beautiful piano room were a nice and novel surprise. The kitchen was fully outfitted and stocked with top end appliances and kitchenware. The host greeted us and was the loveliest, and gave us a rundown of the local area. Most bedrooms required climbing stairs. The pillows were all feather-style. But these are far overshadowed by the positives for this property.
- Pa3ck_ (10/5): Amazing villa - Very nice historic villa, many rooms, large rooms, fully equipped kitchen, cinema, fast wifi, free parking.
I definitely recommend. -
