• Frances (10/5): Home from Home in Kalkan - Beautiful modern home from home two bedroomed apartment in kalkan with a modern well equipped kitchen ..Door leading onto a small balcony with a great sea and pool viiew. The apartment is contained with in a block of ?7 apartments and the pool is communal However when I was there no one else used the pool so pretty much had sole use .The apartment is situated at the top of the old town and is extremelly peaceful and quiet but with a very short walk to restaurants beach and marina. There is a smart tv with all channels netflix you tube etc Bedrooms have two single beds and one double. Victoria (host) communicated via whatsapp. Free WI fi worked perfectly. .Beautiful original mosaic flagstone flooring too. Bed was super comfy with a small balcony too ( no view) Mosquitoes ....bring repellent and roomspray There are steps and a short hill down to the villa not a problem if your able bodied but may be difficult for elderly or infirm Also slightly tricky getting heavy luggage back up when leaving Finally I had to move the bed away from beneath the air con as it blew a spider into my eye when asleep....just saying to be mindful The air con however is very modern and new and is silent therefore does not disrupt your sleep There was a bit of a strange smell pf cooking when i arrived but this dissipated through time. .Also of note this is a middle apartment and you can hear people im above apartment moving chairs but there is no other noise. . Could maybe do with a couple more table lamps
