The staff are very kind and friendly and made us feel at home. We organised a trip to wadi rum and Petra with the hostel, which was also great and they were very helpful in planning to match our schedule. Overall would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again. N/A

• IZUMI (10/5): アカバで最高のホステル - まず、アナスと兄弟に本当に感謝しています。ありがとう！ ヨルダン二日目にジェットバスでアカバに到着し、歩いて５分程度で宿の玄関に到着できます。Google等で玄関の写真を確認しておくと、見つけやすいと思います。 玄関の門を開けると2、3段の階段があり、その手前で靴を脱いで建物の中に入ります。靴を脱いで部屋のエリアに入るのは、清潔だし、靴を脱ぐ文化の日本人としては本当にリラックスできました。 女性ドミトリーに泊まりましたが、部屋は可愛く、清潔で、ベドウィンの柄でデザインされていました。ベッドにはカーテン、コンセント、照明がありました。寝心地もとてもよかったです。 部屋を出てすぐのところにロッカーもあります。 バスルームとトイレが2ヵ所あります。ドライヤーも付いていました。 キッチン、無料の水や紅茶、明るいリビング、綺麗な庭があります。 朝食も最高においしかったです。 利用していませんが洗濯機もあるそうです。 このホステルで、アカバのサンセットツアーと、次の日のワディ・ラム一泊のツアーを申し込みました。 アナスが案内するアカバのサンセットツアーはとても楽しかったです。スークでの食材のショッピングや、グルメ、ビーチでの散歩、歴史的な建物の散策はとても良い思い出になりました。(私が遅刻したので迷惑をおかけしました) ワディ・ラムの一泊ツアーもとても素晴らしかったです。 またこアカバに行くときは絶対このホステルに泊まりたいです。 本当にありがとう。 お勧めです！

• Yazan (10/5): - I really feel at home every time I stay here. This is not my first time, and honestly that says a lot about how much I like this place. Everything about the hostel is great — the atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. The bed is very comfortable, and there is delicious coffee available. I also like that I can use the kitchen freely, which makes the stay even more convenient. The staff are kind and welcoming, and the place always feels clean and relaxed. I will definitely come back again ❤️🇯🇴
• ANAS (10/5): - The hostel is super nice, Anas helped me with good plans in Aqaba for scuba diving and a walk tour in Aqaba with local food testing, the bed very comfortable and 100% the hostel clean and they use good sanitizing materials healthy for bathrooms and rooms I really recommend for this hostel Extra Traveller No things everything is perfect!

• Sandie (10/5): Super clean, ten minute walk from center, honest and kind owners - The owner is SUPER clean- no shoes in the hostel but he will provide slippers. They will check showers after a guest showers to clean up if needed. They are also super honest and reliable people who really look out for their guests. There are wall sockets and a dim light in every bed with a privacy curtain. The bunk beds are really sturdy so the bed doesn’t shake if someone climbs up. I would suggest doing extracurricular activities such as scuba diving for wrecks and whatnot with the tours and companies they suggest- they throughly research the companies they use to make sure guests will have a top tier experience. I used another scuba dive shop and ended up having issues with the company which was only resolved with the extra travelers owners help. Thank you again Anas for the help! Nothing

El primer dia hasta me invitaron a cenar con ellos! Las camas demasiado comodas y la cocina totalmente equipada! Toda la hostal estaba super limpia! Tambien tenian lavadora que podias usar sin limite de prendas por 4 dolares aprox. Tambien me gusto la cercania de todo! El centro y la estacion de bus jett esta a 5 mins caminando! Sin duda me volveria a alojar aca! Vallanse a la segura amigos! Me gusto todo

• Klára (10/5): Great value and great atmosphere - The place is very cosy and great value for the money. It's quiet, breakfast is exceptional and it's incredibly clean, considering it's only guys taking care of it. You will see them cleaning all the time. No alcohol at the hostel.

• Febron (10/5): Recommended - Everything! Bed was very comfortable and private with curtain - even though it was hot outside, turning on the ceiling fan was more than enough. The location is just about 10-15 minutes walk to the beach - the hosts Anas and his brother Seif were so friendly, accomodating, kind and you just really felt like at home. Homemade breakfast was also delicious and the best thing was the full-equipped kitchen where you can make your own meal. I wish I could have stayed longer.

• Nicole (10/5): Great host and breakfast, best hostel I could wish for in Aqaba! - I never had such great breakfasts as in this hostel, all thanks to Anas! He made sure we all had a nice and communal breakfast each morning. Also, when I arrived there was some dinner for me. Other than that, he helped me enormously with planning some activities, like a guided hike and transportation to Dana National Park! It was easy to reach out to Anas and he offered lots of option for activities in Aqaba and Jordan. It was a very cozy and social hostel, a great place to meet other travellers and it felt like staying with a friend. Oh, and please pet the sweetest cat Samir for me if you go there! There were no lockers in the female dorm, in the hallway there were four lockers. It was sufficient during my stay, but I can imagine it is not enough sometimes. And I felt the top bunks were hard to get into.

• Sebastian (10/5): Best hostel in Aqaba - My first time ever hostel experience. As a solo traveller I must say I couldn’t find a better place. Everyone was so friendly. The WiFi is free and fast. Breakfast is included in price. The fellow visitor are nice and kind people! Nothing but good memories. It is also a walking distance to all the shops, loved it!

Bref je vous recommande vraiment cet hostel je devais y rester 2 nuits j’ai prolongé car je m’y sentais comme chez moi. Encore merci Anas et son frère.

Anas is an excellent host — I also joined him for a tour in Aqaba, which I highly recommend. He can help you organize the rest of your trip in Jordan as well; for example, he booked a fantastic camp for me in Wadi Rum. He’s very honest and always offers great value-for-money packages. Hostel is close to Jett bus station, pretty convenient.

Hr arranged my snorkel trip, a boat cruise, and he gave a tour around Amman at night. He also gave food food recommendations. The female dorm was clean. They clean the shared bathrooms regularly too. There are some lockers outside the room but there weren't many people staying so I didn't use them.

• Lujain (10/5): Super clean, comfortable, and convenient! - This is the second time I've stayed at Extra-Traveler, and I would definitely come again. The hostel is super clean and comfortable, and Anas and Seif go out of their way to make you feel at home. There are two shared bathrooms which are always spotless, and the rooms are comfortable, and have outlets and AC/fans. They also often community events which are a lovely way to learn about Jordanian culture and get to know other travelers. The hostel is also located in a super convenient location- walking distance to most places and just a few minute walk to the JETT bus station. Highly highly recommend staying here. Nothing.

• Hannah (10/5): Amazing hostel highly recommend!!! - Amazing hostel!! The owner is so so kind. The breakfast is homemade everyday and absolutely delicious (I almost never like hotel breakfasts). The WiFi is also great! Good enough to work remotely although it was a bit patchy a few days! Maybe need backup for an important video call but outside of that was able to work no problems! Great location! Wadi rum tour booked through them was awesome!! Highly highly recommend!

Incredibly well-run by hosts who make it cozy & community-oriented! - Amazing location (near the JET bus office), lovely breakfast of falafel sandwiches, and the hosts are soooo lovely, warm, welcoming, and full of information. They keep the hostel quiet and clean and it's non-smoking and non-drinking so also feels very safe. Strongly recommend! Beds were quite tough so just be prepared for that. Everything else is lovely, though!

The two brothers that manage the hostel or very nice and did everything to make my stay comfortable, offering tea and even sharing their own meal. They also cooked some pastries in the evening. I had the feeling that I was home and extended my stay. The rooms are quiet with AC, everything for a good sleep, especially if you are tired, as I was :).

The female dorm was 5 beds but it felt so spacious. Breakfast was tasty. Also staff are lovely. I stayed here because I got the ferry from Nuewba, so I came to aqaba only two nights. Actually, I wished I'd stayed longer so that i could do some scuba diving here because it looks like a great place to do see some wrecks that are accessible and good for OWD level. The hostel can arrange this for you and they quoted a great price, honestly. Nothing!
