• Guido (1/5): Falsche Entscheidung - Die Lage war gut. 6. Etage ohne Aufzug, Mehrfamilienhaus, Badezimmer und Küche waren dreckig/klebrig, Stühle waren kaputt, Neue Haustür verursachte Probleme: Klingeln in der Nacht, weil alte Haustürcode nicht mehr funktionierte.

• Diana (4/5): - The property is in a very good location, about 4-minute walk from Istiklal Street, and the terrace offers a nice view. The apartment looked exactly like in the pictures. Communication with the host was easy and he responded very quickly to any question we had. The heating worked well. Unfortunately, the overall stay was not comfortable. The building where the apartment is located looked was in a very poor condition, it looked like a trash bin. To reach the apartment, we had to cross 5 floors where garbage was stored - absolutely disgusting! The apartment itself was not very clean, the bathroom had an unoleasant smell the majority of the time. Also, during the entire stay, there was a pregnant smell of cigarette smoke from the ventilation (imagine how terrible this is for a non-smoking person, nor to mention that all our clothes smelled like cigarette the entire time and I had to wash literally everything once I got home, also taking our clothes to dy cleaning) making difficult to breath, especially at night, when I woke up several times for not being able to breath properly. It also felt pretty unsafe at some point, since the neighbor from across the corridor had a constant flow of customers, and downstairs being an active brothel. The worst happened in our very last day: a terrible storm happened in Istanbul and there was a flood in the apartment, that fell exactly on one of our suitcases, which was almost ready (so we had to wash everything in the same day, praying to dry till we leave the second day, and resulting in deteriorating some of our clothes due to colors mixing). For us it was like the 10th time in Istanbul, but this accommodation was by far one of the worst we have ever stayed in.

• Daniel Graziadei (7/5): Excellent location, cool style, nice view, but not as clean as we would have liked it to be. - The location is excellent and easy to reach, many good places to eat and shop nearby. The flat is spacious, expands over three levels and has a good view over parts of the city. The style of the flat is unique. Check-in was easy. Unfortunately, the flat was not as clean as one would expect. Hair and dirt on the floor and dirty cups in the cupboard lead to the suspicion that cleaning was only done on a highly superficial level. The bathroom smells badly and would need a thorough redoing to get rid of the mold. I had to initiate contact, no welcome or goodbye message with the necessary details was automated or sent.

• Marina (10/5): - Всё было отлично. Хозяин был любезен и добр к нам с моей мамой.Отдельная ему благодарность .Нам очень понравились апартаменты. Кровати удобные. Всё есть, чтобы приготовить еду. Апартаменты расположены в самом центре. Очень просторные, терраса - это вообще вишенка на торте. Мы очень довольны выбором жилья. Приедем ещё, и будем знать куда.

• Stephane1975 (9/5): Un appartement plein de charme (mais au 6ème étage sans ascenseur). - Un appartement sur 3 étages plein de charme, original, dans un quartier festif et proche du métro. Bonne literie, bon wifi. Des équipements au-dessus de ce qu'on trouve en général dans les appartements proposés à la location. Hôte qui communique directement, facilement accessible sur Whatsapp. 6ème étage sans ascenseur, avec des escaliers en colimaçon difficiles avec un bagage! C'est le très gros défaut de l'appartement. Un système d'évacuation de l'eau bizarre, qui transforme la salle de bain en piscine à chaque douche. On est dans un immeuble populaire, donc les bourgeois précieux peuvent s'abstenir.
• Norma (8/5): Wir kommen gerne wieder. - Sehr zentrale Lage. Blick über die Dächer Istanbuls. Der Gastgeber reagiert sehr schnell auf Nachrichten und ist bemüht um schnelle Lösungen. Das Appartement liegt im 6. Stock ohne Aufzug. Dafür hat man einen guten Blick von der Dachterrasse.

• mesjv (8/5): Superbe vue depuis la terrasse ! - Situé tout près de Istiklal caddesi, l'appartement permet un accès central à Istanbul, y compris à pied. Notre propriétaire nous a bien contactés dans les temps, et nous avons pu accéder à l'appartement sans difficulté, par un système de boîte à clé avec code. Nous regrettons cependant que ce système nous ait privé d'une échange de visu avec le propriétaire, cet échange n'ayant pas eu lieu non plus lors de notre départ. Nous aurions préféré un contact plus humain et plus chaleureux. L'ascension vers l'appartement au 6e étage demande un petit effort, mais la vue depuis la terrasse supérieure constitue une belle récompense. On peut y contempler une grande partie d'Istanbul, en direction du quartier Sultanahmet, de Sainte-Sophie, de la Mosquée Bleue, etc., le spectacle est féérique la nuit, surtout si la lune est de la partie, et que nous tenons un verre à la main ! L'appartement, en duplex, est vaste, et bien équipé. Nous remercions notre hôte d'avoir prévu un ventilateur, et surtout une bonne réserve d'eau potable, ce qui nous a évité des allées et venues fatigantes. L'on peut aussi trouver, dans le quartier, de nombreuses boutiques pour acheter fruits, légumes, pain et vivres diverses. Quant aux petits restaurants, on n'a que l'embarras du choix au pied de l'immeuble. Bref, malgré les nuits un peu bruyantes, nous avons passé un bon séjour. L'escalier d'accès dont la propreté est loin d'être impeccable... Par ailleurs, nous avons eu du mal à dormir les deux premières nuits, à cause du bruit des habitants de l'immeuble (un appartement de vacances sur le même palier a donné à de nombreuses et bruyantes allées et venues, avec éclats de voix et portes claquées), et à cause aussi des bruits montant de la rue, qui ont duré jusqu'à plus de 3h du matin. Le double vitrage n'y change pas grand chose. Cela dit, peut-on trouver un endroit calme dans ce quartier d'Istanbul ?
• Natalia (10/5): a very cozy maisonette loft apartment in a perfect location - The location is exceptional. The flat itself is very cozy and has everything for comfortable stay. There is no elevator in the house, but we didn’t suffer to go upstairs. If you sleep upstairs, be prepared for some noise of seagulls on the roof. but it also adds authenticity

• Arjun (3/5): it was a disappointment for us. had to book another property. and we didn't stay here. - The location was good. aesthetics of the apartment is also good. but it was not a good stay for us, and had to book another property. there was a dusty smell inside the whole apartment, you know the smell when a room is closed for a weeks or months. it was dusty and not properly clean, even though we asked for a early check in and the host was happy to help us with that, the reason the host told was that they didn't get enough time to clean the rooms.
• Nataliia (8/5): Good value and great location - Great location. Quite equipped kitchen. Apartment is pretty comfortable. Bathroom requires some repair, but still usable.
• Elena (7/5): Even though we had a few problems, our stay was still very nice and I would love to come back! - The layout of the apartment, view and the beds were truly amazing. Additionally, the size of the apartment was very comfortable and perfect for a group of four friends. The communication with the host was also superb, everything we needed was immediately tended to! Sadly, there were many smokers inside of the apartment building and the fan in the bathroom was very dusty and smelled like cigarette smoke. Because of heavy rainfall, the ceiling leaked and rain got on top of one of the beds. The kitchen appliances were few and also not properly cleaned before and the washing machine didn’t function correctly. The oven was old and we had some troubles using it…

• Kim (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is located in the midst of Taksim, surrounded with great restaurants, cafes and bars. You have everything within walking distance. The host was easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We had a great time and can recommend this to anyone staying in Istanbul!
• Stephen (10/5): Great location, shops and restaurants all around you, super friendly people, and very safe at night. - Location, only 20min walk down hill to T1 tram to Blue Mosque and Grand bazaar, Then between bridges the bus terminal 70tw will take u back to 600mts from apartment, Grocery store 3 doors up PERFECT Well our only concern was the steps leading to the apartment, 98 of them winding above you, so if you have mobility concerns, maybe an alternate location would suit, BUT the view of the city is amazing when you arrive so worth the climb.
