• Katherine (10/5): Enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again in the future. - Location was the main reason we chose this accommodation, as it’s directly across the road from The Mole where we had our work dinner. We had a bit of trouble getting Sky to work, but we were able to log into our Netflix account and relax after our night out. The heat pump worked well and kept the place cosy. We would recommend the firmer bed in the room next to the dining area as it was very comfortable. The shower had good pressure. Overall, my husband and I felt right at home and would happily stay here again in the future. Maybe clean the prints off the windows. I cleaned the glass on the door leading to the deck and would have cleaned some more if I had newspaper or paper towels. The hot water wasn't working in the kitchen for some reason, but didn't really matter too much as we didn't cook there.

• Rebecca (7/5): It was raining when we arrived so having a carport right by the door was a relief! Nice big house, we used the kitchen t - Great location, easy to find and short drive to central Taupo. Shops were close to the property too. It was pouring with rain when we arrived so the carport was awesome, everything we needed was at the property. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom probably needs a clean, could also put a rubbish bin in the bathroom. A dishcloth would have been handy in the kitchen, to wipe the benches, as there was only a scourer. (One of the seats at the dining table had a weird grease

• Marty (7/5): Good enough but very likely a one-off experience - Things were good in general. Showers' water pressure was good. House location is close enough to the main center of Taupo where it only takes around 2-3 minutes drive but it's far enough to walk. Front yard is spacious. We arrived at late night and can't find the key box anywhere the area the host mentioned as the description is very confusing but luckily the door was unlocked so we could get in. We only able to find the key box at the very last moment before we checked out the property as I need to lock the door. Also on the coffee table in the lounge there were bunch of ants crawling around which was a bit disgusting. Beds are a bit to soft and bouncy.

• Sharon (10/5): Fantastic stay, loved the fact we could all be together - the house had everything we needed - We liked that it had everything we needed for a nights stay. The house was really tidy and super clean Very minor thing but it would've been great to have face cloths and also mirrors in the bedrooms.

• Maricel (5/5): - House is few walks away from chinese take away, cafe and dairy. Enough kitchen space to work on your meal. The outdoor space is well maintained and clean. Two out of three rooms are fine. The bathroom is clean. The couch is dirty and smells bad. The masters bedroom also smells, it might not have been cleaned properly before our use. One of the bedroom matress is very soft but it's tolerable. If the couch is replaced and maybe a one off professional clean of the property, the place would have been great.

• Elisha (10/5): Leisure time at Lake Taupo - Lake Taupo is (literally) just down the road. 2km from town center, so close enough to enjoy everything it has to offer (e.g. restaurants), but far away from hustle and bustle of holiday makers. Lovely deck to sit on and enjoy the fresh air. Spacious. Had everything we needed. No problems.
• Lauren (6/5): Booking.com listing a bit misleading with regards to the bedding situation but otherwise comfortable - Good location; simple but comfortable home with the main basic necessities. We were a group of friends with one child; bedding configuration was an important consideration for us in choosing this accommodation. The Booking.com listing mentioned a single bed along with a double bed in one room, which wasn't the case. There was a fold-out bed available in one of the wardrobes, but no linen for this was provided. This was disappointing for us; luckily I'd brought a camping mattress and a spare sheet along just in case, and we ended up using that instead. The shower drain also was clogged up by the 2nd morning and needs de-clogging.

The property is listed as stylish, but it is very dated and unclean. The kitchen was not well equipped as listed with free tea bags. Overpriced for the condition of the property.

Ants and cockroaches inside which might just be a local thing as we have experienced that at other Taupo air BnBs.

• Josh (5/5): Convenient but only had 3 beds. - Convenient, clean, good parking, functional, safe. Listed as having 4 beds. It had 3 beds plus a broken foldout wooden slat frame, with thin foam mattress. Someone was relegated to the couch for our stay. Beds are pretty rugged, bases are very soft springs, almost like a waterbed to lay on. I wouldn’t recommend sharing with another person.

• Hannah (7/5): Overall, it was enjoyable stay. House is lovely, warm and inviting. Thank you. - The house was lovely and warm when we arrrived in late afternoon/evening. Its in good location, a few minutes drive to town center and lake front, and its nice and quiet for relaxing evening after dinner in town. Kitchen has fridge and stove making it convenient if you want to cook your own breakfast. We didnt cook, but i find it's great for family. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you. Couple of things that would really improve the overall experience: 1. The beds weren't very comfy, perhaps if better quality beds would have made it a perfect stay. 2. One of the bedrooms has no heater, there is no place to plug in heater. We found the plug behind the headboard, but we couldn't move the bed to make it work, so the 3rd bedroom was quite cold at night. The other 2 bedrooms have a heater in each room. Our visit was in June (winter time).

We loved that we could have taken our dog with which she got to enjoy the big yard. The biggest down fault is the beds are very very soft the beds definitely needs an upgrade.

• Tracey (5/5): Basic 3 bed home - Communication was great and our questions answered promptly. We were expecting a higher standard based on photos and price. Beds were very soft and bouncy so not great for 2 people in the same bed. Dust on the window sills above the bed. Otherwise a comfortable home style accommodation, just a bit overpriced for the standard.

• Vilgelm (9/5): Superb - Amazing location. Close to everything. Great kitchen facilities. Absolutely fantastic communication from the host. Very comfortable living room, good entertainment. Rooms are big and comfortable. Overall very happy. Address needs to be changed to 2/47 though as the provided address doesn't work. All furniture in the house is well used and has stains from use. Beds are good size, mattresses are extremely soft and jumpy. Subjectively was uncomfortable. Some other may like.

• Chelsea (8/5): Very good - if use place to visit. 3 adults and 3 kids. Bedrooms were good size, clean and so close to Lake Tapō and had a food market across the road so it was very convenient. And we left something behind and the owner was so helpful and got it back to us. Would definitely stay again. A bit of confusion around the address as on bookin.com the address led us to a motel. So that just needs to be sorted out. Otherwise no complaints.

I think it is bookings.com generated this address in a wrong format since if you check the property address on map of booking.com, it is marked at the correct location

Had everything we needed, nice sunny property There are no sidelamps in the bedrooms, and only two pillows on the queen beds, ok if you just want to go to sleep, but I like to read in bed before going to sleep.
