Guest Reviews
- George (9/5): - The room was comfortable. The wheelchair access through the front door
- Tiffany (1/5): - Everyday Nothing
- Moore (1/5): -
- Kimberly (3/5): Only expected a clean bed and was still disappointed - Location and value Shower and bedroom smelled moldy; air vents were visibly dirty; smoke detector constantly beeped which made it difficult to fall asleep which was the only reason I booked a bed
- Clara (10/5): It was Great! - Everyone and everything was lovely. N/A
- James (3/5): Checking in was hard, phone number doesn't work, person checking in was not friendly - Price The area did not feel safe

- Atif (5/5): Please ask for therecent photos of the property, as it looks very different from the photos shown. - Please ask the property owner for recent pictures of the property. It looks nothing like what is shown in the current photos. The manager is nice and friendly, but she is clearly managing the property with the limited resources she has.
The surrounding area of the property does not feel very safe. There are many street dogs around, and I personally encountered them twice within about a week.
Overall, the property may still be worth the price, but the owner should upload updated photos so potential guests can see the current condition of the property.
- Julian (7/5): Affordable Stay! - Although there was confusion with the rooms being all full the host was very kind in ensuring that a nearby hostel could still accommodate my stay. I am thankful as this helped me avoid a refund due to no vacancy.
- Tiffany (1/5): - Nothing Do not stay here
- Tiffany (1/5): - Nothing Do not stay here Myself and several other people have been put out after booking. It is impossible to even check in and the system doesn't work
- YOSHIHIRO (10/5): ホームステイみたいな感じ - 郊外なので静か、WiFi、タオル、キッチン、暖かいシャワーあり ベッドシーツの下にビニール?が敷いてありちょっと気になった
- Reed (1/5): Never going back again - Dirty nothing Dirty
- Isares (5/5): -
- George (8/5): - Friendliness, and the cleaniness Loud cellphone alarms going off in the middle of the night.
- Trevon (1/5): I did not stay here not one day, they lied and said they canceled my stay but my reservation was open as if I checked in - Nothing I didn’t get what I asked for there was no space to put my things and also no privacy and when I wanted to cancel my stay they didn’t cancel it, it stayed open so they could take and keep my money which I still need a refund for

- Terrill (8/5): - I liked Karen she was very friendly and helpful. I liked the bed. It was a little loud for me, I think the neighbors were having a party.

- Danielle (7/5): - Friendly host Karen.
- Danielle (8/5): Very economical and clean - Budget friendly. Designated smoking area in backyard. Wonderful host: Karen. Cooking supplies available. .

- Lennox (2/5): - 0/5 stars.
They gave me an overnight code that was incorrect/did not work and have been completely unresponsive since my stay was set to occur. If you want a host that is responsive and timely, save your money and time and go with another property that is going to be well worth the extra effort.
- Guest (10/5): - The host, Ms Karen, was exceptionally good.
- Miranda (1/5): I would not recommend for anyone to stay here. The staff in the reservation department were very unprofessional - Some of the people that stayed there were nice. Ms. Karen tried to help me the best she could. It was nasty, I was awoken at 3am to a man trying to climb in my bed. The people handling the reservation kept changing my bed/room/reservation. The hostess had no idea who was supposed to be staying where and for how long. There were roaches in the bathroom.
- karla (2/5): - I presented tons of issues while trying to complete the check-in process online, it kept giving me an error and when I tried to contact customer service about it they never responded.
At the moment of arriving to the hostal, the lady in charge was completely rude, telling me to not ring the bell and that she couldn’t help me if I didn’t have the check-in code.
Later on, once I reserved somewhere else, customer service contacted me and admitted the reason why they were not answering my calls was because they were “taking a nap” and tried to get me to email them my information, but in the end we decided not to follow-up with it, because the hostal was located in a place where it didn’t seem very safe and we didn’t have a great experience with neither the host or the customer support service.
- Guest (9/5): -
- Erick (2/5): - No son las condiciones de las fotos publicadas
- Emmanuel (5/5): Passable -
- Stephen (2/5): Bad smell - The whole place smelled like urine
- Jose Eduardo (6/5): - The check-in process was not easy, the email with the codes was late.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Blaw - Underwhelming
- Michael (6/5): Houston Hostel - There was assignment error of the bed I was suppose to be given. The bunk beds are NOT stable on laminate floors. A/C is poorly that I saw another attendee take and use a portable fan. The houses used are NOT modern looking like the images shown on this site. The roommates were friendly though.
- Wimbley (9/5): Superb -
- J (1/5): Bad - Customer service did not answer phone.
- Gabriele (1/5): Bad - The hostel was extremely dirty and poorly located. I had to complete the online check-in twice and never received any confirmation email or the door codes.
There were cockroaches on the floor, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. The bed was uncomfortable and disgusting.
Most of the guests looked like homeless people, and I genuinely felt unsafe during my stay.
One positive note: the lady working there was helpful and opened my door in the middle of the night when it accidentally locked after I went to the bathroom.
Other than that, it was a terrible experience. This place is not safe, not clean, and definitely not worth the price.
- Wimbley (8/5): Very good -
- Duchess (8/5): They let me stay stranded for one night without letting me know they had codes to their doors. Poor - Cleanliness was top notch Men and women staying together in one room wasn't OK, almost every occupant smoking marijuana around the premises was bad. I was sleeping at 2am and an eviction was made using street boys on one of their customer, I was fricking afraid, tot they were hood Lums, what happened to using the police first?
- Alhakimou (6/5): - Good
- Alhakimou (8/5): - Good
- Debra (10/5): I felt safe, secure, pleasant, made some wonderful friendships. - Ms. Karen, the host goes above & beyond to make sure you are comfortable & safe.
Ms. Karen is extremely prompt in keeping the hostel orderly, clean & secure.
She has a beautiful loving mother energy.
She has house rules (definitely needed) & just follow the rules, be courteous with all you share the house with, pick up after yourself & your stay will most definitely be nice & easy.
Great air conditioning, nice stove to use with great cooking utensils, great, clean refrigerator. NA
- Debra (10/5): Exceptional -

- Abraham (1/5): Traumatic experience of the year - Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I didn’t like the fact after rebooking the property owner sent hoodlums to wake me from my sleep by physically assaulting me.
- Virgil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Virgil (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean very nice
- Samuel (2/5): - This property is in the ghetto ghetto proper. Came in and heard gunshots. I did not spend the night there.
- Iana (2/5): - I did everything by the book and was still denied entry due to not having received a code to the door. I had to find another place. And since Expedia was unable to contact them, my refund was denied. So 0 out of 10.
- jilka (2/5): - The property did not had a place reserved as mentioned in website
And they didn’t even issued a refund
- Watts (6/5): Pleasant -
- Adolfo (10/5): - Nice place
- David (10/5): - Ok
- Kristina (1/5): Bad - I don't know. I had to sleep outside on the grass. I showed up for checkin. Confirmed my reservation. Paid for an Uber there. Then called my 80 year old mother to book me a stay there and still nothing. No refund. My purse and hygiene was stolen. It is terrible. I filed a police report and will file small claims. - Zachary (9/5): Superb -
- Belynda (10/5): It works! When you need a HOME style temp situation and cannot afford extended stay rates. This is p - Shared bathroom
- Samuel (2/5): Horrible cleaning lady who lives there. - Although the beds were comfortable and wide, my stay at this hostel has been overshadowed by the horrible experiences I had due to the worker/maid that was staying in the house with me. This woman, whose name I don't know, purposefully made my stay there extremely unpleasant. She makes loud noises early in the mornings, she is extremely agitated at all times and will take any opportunity to barade people for small mistakes, she threatened me with a taser (which I have on video) and tried to throw me out of the house for telling her she should act more like an adult. On top of this, she stole my shoes and threw them in the thrash, after which she refused to tell me where I could find my shoes. This was by far the worst experience I've had in the USA and the owner should reevaluate what type of people they let guard their home. This woman was anything but hospitable or welcoming, and I do not think she is the right person for this job at all, and I think she realises that herself too. She tried to yell me out of the property, and it worked. I left with all my suitcases because she made the hostel inhospitable, while also refusing to talk to me to resolve the matter. Worst hostel experience of my life.
- Sharhonda (4/5): It would have been ok if there were separate rooms and a place to keep my storage and canned foods because while I was o - Had a place to lay my head I was the only woman there. They put me in the room with a man and the rooms have bunk beds I was so uncomfortable. They even tried to charge me $50 for smoking in the room but I don’t even smoke. Place nice but the guidelines don’t match the building
