Guest Reviews
- Laurie (4/5): This host was well-meaning but wasn’t the usual Italian host we have come to expect. - It was close to our friends house and easy train to Torino. Good size space. Quiet. It was not ready for guests. It smelled musty even in the closet and furniture. On arrival we did a code so there was nobody to ask questions or see that it wasn’t clean. The clothes washer was smelly with standing water that was disgusting. There were no towels, soap or fans as expected. The host brought fans in a box the next day which we had to assemble ourselves. The first three days it was necessary to message the host for towels, to clean properly etc. He did bring a potable air conditioner which was appreciated but it required a large window to be half-opened so the heat poured in making it only useful in the kitchen. The rest of the place was very warm. As we didn’t want to spend our holiday continually asking for corrections of usually expected amenities like the tv, we decided to put up with everything. Moncalieri was lovely.
