• Ingrid (7/5): Love The outdoor swimming pool and gym during the summer and indoor lap pool and gym and sauna in the winter - The high ceilings and open spacious feel is unique with its classic old windows. The key wasn’t in the lockbox when I first arrived so I had to go to a different room for one night of my five nights day. It was sorted out efficiently by the staff though who were very helpful. The fire alarm went off one night and we all ended up in the street which wasn’t much fun either. Not the hotels problem.
• Brandon (4/5): While we had a great five-night stay in Auckland, the room could have been much better - Location was in a hilly area, so there were a lot of steep slopes to walk up and down to get too and from apartment The appartments was poorly furnished. The meals table was a high bench and four stools. Incredibly uncomfortable, sitting beside each other on stools - not a pleasant way to eat a meal. Water pressure was poor, hot water was a gravity-fed trickle. Terrible. Small fridge with tiny useless freezer, bathroom floor tiles had a high gloss finish that became very slippery when wet. No instructions on use of appliances. TV had streaming channels Netflix, Amazon, Stan which were ok as we logged in using our subscriptions, but local Auckland TV channels were either not available or inaccessible to us because there were no instructions despite trying to tune them in. The room was west-facing and during hot weather, curtains had to be closed to reduce the heat and glare. There was cooling and heating but it took a long time to respond. After booking and paying we learned the room belonged to Air B & B which meant it was not serviced daily and there was no response to our demand to have the bench and chairs replaced by a proper meals table and chairs. The room was livable and could have been easily made more comfortable. At one stage we contemplated demanding to be relocated

They attend to guests queries as soon as possible and solve it swiftly - You can contact staff very easily The accommodation was pristine but there was an insect incident, staff addressed it the following morning and also cleaned the room
• Emma (8/5): Great stay, in a great location. Loved having access to the ammenities at the Heritage Hotel. - Location, pool, comfy bed, spacious room The room is not double glazed so can be noisy on a Sat night.
• Roger (9/5): Lovely heritage location in the center of town. - Close to the centre of town adn CBD. Huge place - easy to get lost!
