Guest Reviews
- Gerard (10/5): Wonderful , clean apartment in super location with wonderful host - Location Well address is ambiguous….there seems to be 2…..Via Gonnelli 1…..so be vigilsnt

- Roisin (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. Super friendly. Beautiful apartment. Thank you for having us.
- Sam (10/5): Little Gem - Gorgeous little house overlooking the main square. Spotlessly clean, great facilities and a lovely host who speaks perfect English.
- Karin (10/5): Super stay on the Via Francigena - Great location on the Via Francigena. Loved that we could cook our own supper.
Super comfortable, clean, and value for money.
- Michael (8/5): Enjoyable but initially disappointing - Well located. Reception was disappointing
- Olaf (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious,
wonderful host even after we locked ourselves out.
Homy feeling, nothing was too much. Little noisy outside in the eve, but no problem for us.
Bathroom light not too bright.
But then again these are details. We loved our stay
- Emma (9/5): Superb -
- Xin (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (10/5): Perfect - Location and the property had everything we needed. Thank you so much. Nothing
- Liliana (10/5): We got there early and hostess was super kind to let us in much earlier - Hostess and location N/A
- Nathan (10/5): A very nice place, that I would highly recommend. - The apartment was in a fabulous location, right on the town’s main square. The Via Francigena route went right by the front door. The apartment was very nice, and was equipped with everything I needed.
- Bicyclogue (10/5): Great apartment on the Via Francigena - A great apartment right on the main square of Gambassi Terme. We'll equipped and the owner is outgoing. Right on the Via Francigena. Definitely recommended. Not much to dislike here.
- John (8/5): Very good - The location was excellent. There is plenty of space in the apartment. Good shower. The bedroom needs a curtain to cancel out light from the square below.
- Giovanni (10/5): Perfect place - On the square of the village with even a kettle to make tea! The most comfortable bed in our trip, probably brand new. And a very helpful landlady who suggested a fantastic restaurant for dinner (Osteria Pinchiorba). Nothing
- Charmaine (8/5): Cascina but only 1 flight of stairs to go up. There were windows. Kitchen, dining area and in the be - Cascina but only 1 flight of stairs to go up. There were windows. Kitchen, dining area and in the bedroom. Nice inlaid wood chest in the bedroom. Cold at night and the owners seemed reluctant to turn up the thermostat. The weather was terrible with torrential rain so my clothes were soaking wet. No wifi so had to go to a cafe opposite. Park to walk the dog. Kitchen needs total supply of equipment to boil water and pans. |I did leave a list for them. No tv so a bit boring as no wifi so no youtube, Parking is not near by, Plenty towels. Got locked out day I was leaving. Luckily had opened the kitchen window so had to find the owners and get ladders to get in. Locks need changing outside to street and the indoor. Too fastidious locks and caused me to lose my dog at 6am Sunday morning as fiddling with the outdoor lock. He ran off down the narrow lanes. Lucky it was very early and no traffic. I think this was a learning curve for the owners. I was in a time panic and had to wait for him to get ladders. I climbed in. Entertained the village at 0830am. I was not amused. The shower a bit grotty on the inside and could do with the rust removing, Otherwise the place is ok. I was occupied in Montespurtoli not here, Cascina but only 1 flight of stairs to go up.
