Guest Reviews
- Richard (1/5): Not a Hotel - Location is OK if you're driving to Wembley Stadium It's not a hotel. Just a house with beds crambed into a small room. Didn't smell nice, either. You don't see anyone. I just received a text with a code for the door and key box. We decided to drive 4 hours home in the early hours, rather than stay
- Lindsey (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (1/5): I’m disappointed - It was dirty floors , some small animals in a bed bitten me and kids shower was dirty. Rooms was not clean and very very hot
- Rehan (4/5): Disappointing -
- Ray (1/5): Do not book this it does not exist - It was a scam the property is not at the address advertised we could not find it Couldn’t find it
- Josh (7/5): Good -
- Marcella (8/5): Really handy place to stay - Location is excellent, good value for money! Nothing
- Joyce (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (4/5): It wasn’t as bad as previous comments made out - I was abit worried. The bedding was clean, but only given one towel. Co - The location was good. Bed sheets clean. Did the job for one night. Snacks were out of date and opened/ used by previous person. The front door where people enter is very loud and kept waking us up. The room doesn’t look like the pictures on the site, should be half the price for what it is.
- Thomas (1/5): Expect unexpected to happen if you were to book in this hotel - The room had everything you need for a quick stay but the bed was full of bed bugs not one or two...loads.. I could not sleep and when I woke up I could see big bed bugs all over the bed .I have taken videos of the bugs and the blood on my bed.I contacted the manager and informed about the issue and also send him videos of the scene he didn't even apologise as if that was a common thing.even after sending messages there was no reply. So be careful when you are booking there.
- Nikola (4/5): It got the job done - I was clean However it was extremely small
Not like in the pictures.
There was no hot water for the shower.
- Anonymous (1/5): Completely different property/address to the picture, given a room with one less bed than we booked, police raided t - Completely different property/address to the picture, given a room with one less bed than we booked, police raided the property at 4am setting off fire alarm and owner couldn’t be reached to turn off the alarm so we left at 5am
- Tom (1/5): Worst hotel experience - Absolutely nothing i want my refund! Again didn't like anything about my stay
- Kevin (3/5): Not great atall - I like the fact the fridge was packed with cold drinks and there were plenty of snacks for the children. The bedding was very dirty, food crumbs everywhere, we also filmed bugs on the bedding and the bedding was also very visibly dirty.
- Rosie (8/5): Very good -
- Tokunbo (1/5): It was the most uncomfortable night spent. - nothing. That’s the most dirtiest hotel I have ever been. Flies and insect flying around. All room were hot even requested for a fan and did not get it. I will not be booking anything from bookings.com again. Even when complained about the room and explained I had a 1 year old daughter and 2 three year old they only told me I had to wait for 9 hours. This is more than 36hrs now and yet no one has contacted me. What a shame.
- Davey (6/5): Good value for money but not amazing - Clean and easy check in Hard to find
- Josh (6/5): Pleasant -
- Hatri (9/5): Superb -
- Hayley (8/5): Perfect for what we needed. Customer service was fantastic as we were struggling to find it. - Ideal for what we needed it for. Somewhere to rest our heads after a day of promotion at Wembley! No WiFi or TV
- Wayne (6/5): Pleasant -
- Victor (8/5): Very good -
- Brennan (7/5): Good - Clean tidy good transport links
- Ehison (5/5): I enjoyed my stay except for insect flying around, and no microwave to warm my food. - it was very close to my event location, and it was ok for the price The apartment should have been fumigated before use, as there are insects flying around, particularly in the toilet. There is no microwave to warm my food, and even when their staff promised to get me one, they never did.
- Ewomazino (4/5): Disappointing - Proximity to town There were bed bugs in the bed, my kids couldn’t sleep well because of that.
- Sasipim (1/5): Very disappointing - Nothing I booked Streatham hotel but they put me in another place. Completely different place.
Not clean, very dirty, kettle was moody, cook leftover from previous guests, NO LIGHT in toilet, provided on lye 1 small towel even book for 2 people.
- Richterova (4/5): Only recommend for visitors with budget and low expectations. - Good location from centre, close bus stops.
Apartment was relatively clean.
There were towels, shampoos, snacks, wifi.
Host answered our calls and requests. The room and the bathroom was not the same as pictures. It was really small for 4 people and quite old. During the night you could hear everything from the hall.
- Nassima (6/5): It was cool -
- Aneska (1/5): Shocking - The supply of crisps and the smelly kettle. The place was not cleaned ,hair everywhere, and not as described on booking. The address was totally different to the booking..No wifi as stated. The shower was blocked,it was filthy. The host just sent a message which was morse code, and when contacted just said read your message.Had better communication from a 5 year old.
In plain english it was pretty shocking to say the least.
If there was minus stars it would be given.
- Natalie (1/5): Won’t book again - Location. It was not what it shows in the pictures it was a completely difffwreng property
- Keela (1/5): Very disappointed would be an understatement. Completely different location and hotel from what I booked online, was giv - Didn’t like anything about the property. Given a completely different address and hotel to what was advertised online. Couldn’t drop bags off before check in and were forced to leave them in a corridor. Deluxe double room didn’t have a proper sized double bed. Was given 1 towel in the room, asked for more and was never given any. Terrible communication from staff. Was told we would be called back about getting a better room and was never called back.
- Rosie (3/5): Should have booked a Premiere Inn - Very affordable on a budget. If you need a room for the night, it’ll do. There were also crisps and water bottles available. The window didn’t shut, there were stains on the duvet and furniture. The building had damp, so the room smelt. In the middle of the night, there was someone banging on doors and then the police arrived.
- Nasim (8/5): Very good -
- Donna (5/5): Basic room was expected a hotel and staff - Was not a hotel so no breakfast service.
There was crisp and cakes but nothing for breakfast. There was bottle water.
Had 2 small double beds and one single bed. Door into one room which lead into the other bedroom with the toilet attached. Very small flat. Didn’t know this information until I got a text at 11am on the day we were going, given me codes for the front and flat door. Very small.
All of one plate and cups and cutlery were very dirty. Found hairs under the pillows.
The heating was on full so it was very hot and couldn’t turn it down. Needed to open all the windows but couldn’t leave them open overnight.
There was a washing machine in one of the rooms which was no use, would be better off putting a small fridge in there.
Don’t know how you can call yourself a hotel there are more like Airbnb basic flats. Didn’t meet or talk to anyone.
- Rii (10/5): Exceptional - the hotel is very well organized with easy check in and out, easy to reach but the problem The room is very small for a family room with no cupboards or even a place to keep our bags. This make it difficult to organize our staff
- Trond (3/5): Poorly cleaned.stains at bed linen. - I wouldn't call this a hotel. No reception that you can contact when you need something. There were stains on the bed linen. Mold on the wall in the bedroom. Clogged drain in the shower. Loose toilet seat. Poorly cleaned.
- Bashar (5/5): Passable - Location of the hotel, The room was too small,
- Tom (1/5): Avoid at all cost. - There was nothing to like It’s put up as a “hotel” but it is far from one, it’s a run down flat and was in a different location to where it was meant to be I had to book somewhere else not family friendly at all. No answer on the phone no communication what’s so ever. AVOID
- Ngami (10/5): Will always recomended - Very cleaner. Water provision and snack No place
- Kamal (7/5): Good -
- Martha (4/5): Disappointing - I liked that the facility was close to the rail station and where I had my business for the weekend. The room was quite dusty and ended up leaving the place with a flu at the end of my stay. The beddings had some hairs from other people and the bed cover had some dust. The fridge had lots of dust on the surface as well as the tea bags boxes. In general the housekeeping for Room 3 was quite poor. The bathroom however was clean and comfortable, this and the size of the room were the only positive aspects of the room.
- Nathan (10/5): This place has excellent repeat-Stay value . - The property was clean and compact . The facilitator was prompt in responding and the area was easily accessible to buses in the area and shops. The kids enjoyed the free snacks and it was ideal for our short stay.
- Syed (7/5): Good -
- Lyn (10/5): Very comfortable and welcoming - It was very clean warm and beds comfortable
And quiet and the extra touch was very nice
- James (5/5): Good - Shower Unclean bathroom, floor was not swept and boiler was dirty
- Kelechi (1/5): A horrible experience! - Nothing! Firstly, the hotel location was changed without prior notice, just a strange text message on 11th April morning with no names, details.
Secondly, the room was a tiny box room, with no bathroom lights, contrary to the advertised deluxe double room which I paid for. When I complained on the phone I was given another box room, slightly bigger, with two double beds.
Thirdly, either room had no wardrobe and as I was running late for my meeting, I accepted the second room.
Fourthly, some of the snacks/tea were expired. Chocolate snacks were exposed to sunlight by the window, melting most of them.
Also, there was neither air-conditioner nor electric fan in the crammed room.
Finally, there was a rotten smell coming from the toilet. It was a horrible experience to say the least and the neighbours mentioned that Streatham hotel usually overbook and leave people stranded.
- Tru (8/5): Very good - A great location in a very nice, quiet area, with easy access to buses and underground. Door and lock box codes are sent via text which is handy. Lots of free snacks and drinks too. The walls are very thin and some other guests were very noisy within the building.
- Mahyar (8/5): Very good -
- Cristina (8/5): Very good -
- Flore (2/5): Very disappointed, it was advertised as a hotel, this was someone’s room in a house. - Nothing place was dirty tiny, just tree towels for two days and 5 people,
- Mahyar (9/5): Superb -
- Marie (5/5): suits solo traveller/backpacker needing to put head down for the night. - Price.
Location.
Well locked doors.
Room has water, wifi, fridge, crisps, plenty toilet roll. Keypad lock at front door, and 10 sets of lock boxes containing the room keys.
You get a text message with keypad code and lock box code, and let yourself into the room.
You do not meet staff.
1 towel per person only, No facilities for a second towel.
Bathroom is tiny.
Bed is clean but the decorative pieces are grubby, place isnt clean clean.
- Dolores (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (10/5): Wonderful - I loved my room and the snacks that were there already. It was also very clean and spacious. N/A
- Muhammad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Muhammad (8/5): Very good -
- Rajveer (2/5): Better then road side - Location was quite Shower was broken, it turns into pool during use. bed was used full with human hair, sheets not change. Charging socket not working, heat working automatically, can’t switch it off if fell hot
- Ray (2/5): Very poor - Dirty mouldy
- Cassie (5/5): Ok hotel for its price, but lack of cleanliness. - The hotel was ok for this price. Near bus stations. Walkable to underground station. Near stores and different restaurants. They have a lot of free snacks, free water and pepsi at the room. Lack of cleanliness. Bad odor from the bathroom (we had to buy air freshener just for that). Hard to get contact with the hotel. Tried contacting them via booking messaging tool - they don’t answer. Called the hotel - you only can leave a voice message for them.
Our room was the nearest the entrance, so you can hear clearly opening/closing of the main door very well and hear the people outside.
- Amanda (7/5): Location location location , comfortable bed - I like the location , the staff very nice , I appreciated very much the hotel offered
In the room , plenty of drink water Tea Caffe sweets , and others
Thank you During I arrival to the Hotel , there was no one to receive me giving me information about the keys the Internet , and the boxes suppose leave the keys and so on , that was resulted I had no key to lock the door of the room I was staying
first day when I left my room unlocked I left all lights off and just close the door when I came back to the room all lights was on and a pair of pan was missing , it was not a big deal for me , when I told the hotel manger he did came changed my room and gave me the key, he was very nice.
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Staff catered for our early check in as we were attending final at Wembley.
Loads of refreshments supplied
Excellent location
- Morsali (8/5): Thank you for your great management. - I have stayed at this hotel before, and last time was amazing. This time, it was also good in terms of cleanliness. Thank you! The only thing I didn’t like was the broken window in the room, as its lock was damaged, and cold air was coming in. The heating system was also not good, and we had to wait for hours for the room to warm up enough so we could sleep.
- Shermina (1/5): Disgusting - Nothing I booked the Streatham Hotel but on the morning of my stay I got a text for an other address. Upon checking on booking.com, I noticed that it's the Venice Hotel address 94a Willesden Lane NW6 7TA. The room was dirty, the bed and pillows smelled like something died ( letting me know that i hasn't been charged in a while). The toilet had pee marks all over, the sink dirty, the shower blocked. There is a dirty washing machine in the room and the snacks 90% are expired. The floor is dirty. Everytime someone opens the main door, walks in or talks, you can hear it from the room. It was horrible.
- Amilas (3/5): Poor - Arrangements is ok The heating not working, I stay with my kids and older people but the toilet light is not working
- Amanda (9/5): Was ok for what we needed it for (weekend away). - We could arrive at a time that suited us. The room was large enough to accommodate a family of 5. There was drinks and snacks on arrival. The room could have been cleaner and the bathroom is very small. There was no where for clothes for all 5 people staying in the room.
- Diane (5/5): No reception, etc ucb - Closeness to our conference venue. No reception staff on premises.
Bed sheets were clean.
Bedspreads a bit grubby.
Bathroom.. Shower not clean.
No hair dryer available.
Hotel has no signage so was difficult to find initially!
- Remy (9/5): Superb - Excellent refreshments in the room including a fridge + free cold drinks. Best ever for us.
The manager was very kind and did not hesitate to let us check in early. This was massively helpful.
Excellent location Nothing
- Ahmed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Li (7/5): Good -
- Aman (7/5): Good -
- Alina (1/5): Bad -
- Adele (8/5): Spacious, clean and quiet - There were plenty of snacks, bottled water, and very spacious. Had a fridge, shampoo, condition etc.
Had an issue with the lock and was moved rooms immediately
- Szilvia (7/5): London stay - Beds were comfortable, place was warm. Free available snacks, coffee and coke. Paper cups. Available toiletrolls, shower gel. Quick respond from the owner, helps a lot with checkin process.
Good quiet location. Microwave wasn't listed, but would be great to have one. More catering staff(spoons, fork etc.? . Bathroom wasn't too clean. We were with friends(5) for 3 bed had 3 towels.
- Klajdi (8/5): Very good -
- Chee (7/5): Good - Room is ok, drinks n snacks is nice. Floor is too cold especially after the shower . No WiFi. Wall near by the garden is damp n dirty . Not enough space to hang the clothes.
- Eneremadu (5/5): Passable - Nothing No receptionist to assist us. The room wasn't cleaned up. Bins were left in the room. No heating or Internet. Really a ghost hotel.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Laia (1/5): We are so disappointed with the booking and the facilities they were ment to be as well as a confortable and clean place - We paid for two private rooms and there was no heating working in any of them, as well as no hot water in the shower nor the sink. Related to this, we found all the windows opened which did not help the temperature of the room being suitable in any situation. In addition, the duvets had vomit and weird liquid stains, as did the inside of the sheets, which were still wet when we got there. We are extremely disappointed with our booking, as this was not what we expected and the advertisement differed a lot from reality. As you can see in the pictures attached, the bodily fluids were visible and the heating is clearly not working and you know it. We expect a refund or we will further this complaint.
- Kulla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vladimir (4/5): Disappointing -
- Samantha (3/5): Tiny apartment not fit for 4 ppl - Cheapest Pictures aren’t accurate and it was definitely not a hotel more like a bnb
- Bonaria (2/5): Very poor - Beds was comfortable room was warm No tv in room no staff around for enquirys noisey at night kids running around room door being tried for entry by kids location was rough and no smoking area there was hairs in shower and ontop off shower door window in room never closed room was too crampt no space over all was the worse stay i have had in a hotel and at price off over £200 i expected more for money like breakfast option which was not avialiable but was overall not a very good stay if im honest wasnt even a hotel was more a homeless shelter i felt
- Jonathan (5/5): No floor space for your luggage due to so many beds rammed in. Very clean and location was great. - Greta location and price. Beds were clean and comfy. three double beds crammed into a tiny room and no way to control the heating, we had to open the windows as wide as possible (in November) to try to balance the heat out, caused one of us to wake up with a spider on our pillow who had crawled in from outside. Heating controls and less beds would be good. Theres NO floor space to put your luggage etc, bunk beds would be a better idea for this room. There were also nowhere near enough towels for the amount of people in the room.
- Johanna (7/5): Good -
- Zoe (10/5): Great place, location and hosts - Great hosts, lots of tea, coffee and sugar in room as well as bottled water, crisps and little cake bars. All showering supplies were provided. Room was very warm and beds extremely comfortable. We will definitely be returning. Maybe add more towels for bathroom
- Hemanta (5/5): Overall it was okay 50-50 - We had enough drinks in the fridge, bottles of water , tea, coffee and brew kit were available Price was little bit high compared to the price as we would expect more in that range.
Confined toilet bathroom was a minus point🤧
- Semira (1/5): We couldnt stay for more than one night! - Its filthy, cold, no hot water in the shower, plugs doesnt work, mould on everywhere, spider webs coming down from ceiling, dirty floor, shower was getting blocked when trying to wash, the extractor was full of dust.
- Arkadiusz (5/5): Passable - Equipped in free sweets and biscuits Cleaning standard and comfort of beds, no towels.
- Sthefany (7/5): Good -
- Seema (3/5): Very disappointed with this place - Good location Extremely noisy, no hot water the last morning, no staff to ask for assistance.
- Sharon (8/5): Very good - The chocolates and cake bars were really a surprise and brought a smile on my face Bathroom could be a little more spacious
- Naji (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mustafa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Bibi (6/5): Pleasant -
- Wayne (8/5): Very satisfied would stay again the next time I'm in London. - Good size beds, comfortable and clean. Extra little touch with crisps and cake bars aswel as various coffees and bottles water. Toiletries/shower gels and shampoos. Towels for all guests. A 10/15 minute walk to tube station.
- Amena (1/5): Double booked me with another guest - Double booked me with another guest
- Sarmila (3/5): Poor - There was plenty free drinks, snacks and confectionery stuffs. First of all, it wasn’t the room that showed on the website. Room wasn’t fully clean and properly tidy. There was cigarettes chunks inside the drawer. There was no wardrobe to keep our clothes especially when there was 8 people. All beds were uneven and room was too small for 8. Bathroom were too narrow and the sink was extremely small, perfect size to wash your finger tips. impossible to wash your face there. It wasn’t the worth the price I paid. Very disappointing. No one enjoyed their stay there.
- Laura (5/5): Cheep, cheerful, ok for a 1 night stay. No major bad points just very basic. - We were a last minute booking of a large family needing an emergency overnight stay due to car breaking down so we were stranded 3 hours from home with 5 kids late on a Saturday evening. Accommodation was ok for a last minute one night stop. Water and drinks and snacks were a lovely touch however some sugar and milk (even uht cartons would have been useful) tea bags were provided but couldn’t make a tea. Shower gel also left which was handy due to our situation but not expected at all. Never seen a member of staff while we were there. One double bed was in the kitchen are blocking the whole kitchen side part. Room was very small and an odd layout second double bed was in a second room. The bed in the middle of the kitchen was very strange (room 5) we also had (room 6) upstairs from 5 this was abit better layout and slightly more space with 2 beds side by side in a studio style room.
Biggest downside was no signs this place is not easy to find it’s a doorway next to a shop and the rooms are upstairs.. NOT what you would expect when it says hotel? This is more a big house with studio type rooms if that helps. Heating is also at 500 degrees so you have no worries of getting cold. 🤣
