• Stacie (8/5): Beautiful property with a wow factor and very peaceful location. Super friendly & helpful hosts. Perfect for large g - Beautiful & well maintained villa. The outside space & pool area are the highlight of the property. Lots of space for a family/group and super comfortable beds. Kitchen & living areas have everything needed for a home from home holiday. The hosts were super friendly & helpful. As was everyone we met in the local shops & village. Great quiet location for a relaxing break. The pool isn’t heated so unless it’s super hot weather it might be too cold to stay/use for long periods. We visited in April & weather was OK and we enjoyed the pool.. but not for as long as we’d of done if heated. The outside space is beautiful, however would benefit from a heater or fire pit so could continue using the dining area etc when it’s evening time. There are 2 bathrooms- both with sunken baths which are lovely but no walk-in shower. Think the property would benefit from having a walk-in shower in the main bathroom. Baths have showers over head but weren’t practical & no screens so floors get flooded The location of villa is tucked away and very peaceful. It’s a 15+ min drive to local town so a car is required if want to get around.. as taxis proved very expensive. As a group of 6 it was €45 each way to go into town etc each day. There is a local shop just a short walk for basic provisions. We visited during Easter school holidays and lots of places were still closed for the season - waterparks, main strip in Lagunas etc - so something to keep in mind if coming out of season.
• Alex (9/5): A luxurious, comfortable stay - A warm welcome from Dionysis & Kostas. It was super clean and the beds were soooo comfortable (which is super important for us when travelling), the chill out area by the pool was awesome. The pool wasn’t heated, the road approaching the Villa is mega uneven.

• Wendy (10/5): Villa Moonstone - What a beautiful villa. Complete, luxurious and lots of privacy. We enjoyed Zakynthos and this beautiful location. But what made everything even more special are the owners. We have never been received so lovingly and warmly or spoken to via WhatsApp. Thoughtful surprises in the form of treats and even a farewell gift. The possibility of receiving clean towels and bed linen twice a week, tips and useful information. Dionysios, Kostas and Helen were there for us for two weeks. Thank you very much for your hospitality. everything was perfect
• Karol (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely stay from start to finish, we were greeted by lovely hosts who showed us around the villa and provided refreshments after long trip. The villa is very luxurious, beds are nice and comfortable kitchen is well equipped. The best thing for us was the area outside great size pool, large bbq area lots of seats, sun beds and large space, nice and quite neighbourhood with local shop just 5 minute walk. There are two friendly lovely cats which guard the villa, they stay outside and don't bother you, just feed them with food provided. Overall this was the best place we stayed so far, thanks again to Helen and Kostas who made us feel welcome and made sure we had the best stay possible. I would love to come back again next year ❤️ Having to leave the villa at the end of our stay. 😔 😟
• Rebecca (7/5): Could be wonderful but needs attention to some basic details - over priced for the current standard - The views from the villa are wonderful, as is the quiet location away from any passing traffic or noise. You definitely need a car, the villa is out of the way and there is not much in the surrounding area but it's easy to get to Zakynthos (15 mins) In the evening it is peaceful and makes it easy to relax and enjoy the wonderful temperature and lights. The pool is salted and a lovely temperature for cooling down and the outside kitchen area makes it easy to BBQ. The outdoor fridge and sink are nice touches - it would have been much better if there was a dining table by the outdoor kitchen instead of a coffee table as the space is designed to eat there but no suitable table provided. The villa managers are wonderful and very responsive, they tried their best to make sure we had a great time. They arranged a private chef for our last evening which I highly recommend. And the boat trip was wonderful - expensive but worth it, Kristianos (the captain) and his wife are utterly charming and we had a wonderful day at sea exploring and swimming. The lounge area is a great space but sadly we were unable to enjoy too much as the aircon was broken and despite several requests to fix it no-one appeared. Garage is big and good for keeping the car and rubbish bags. Quite difficult to manoeuvre a car in and out of the villa due to the steep access and no area to turn around (you have to reverse down hill a bit to find space to turn - not for the feint hearted or unconfident driver) but you get used to it. Sadly there are a few things which let the villa down and this is why we rated 7/10. Kitchen - is poorly equipped with not enough plates, oven dishes, bowls and utensils to cater for 6 + people. There are no outdoor bins so we had to keep rubbish in bags in the garage. The villa has been modernised but it feels like the old kitchen was kept. Good sized fridge and freezer. Storage is good. Generally needs to be updated and money spent on the equipment. Bedrooms - good storage and space but bedding is basic. Sheet directly on a mattress (no mattress protectors/covers) and a sheet on top with the bed cover. That's all. Pillows are cheap, lumpy and uncomfortable. In one room the curtain was hanging off. Again could be wonderful, needs money spent on better bedding and overall upgrading. Bathrooms - for us this was a disaster area. The villa has NO walk in shower except outside (cold water) In-bath showers only. The en-suite is sunken so you have to step down into it. The main bath is step in over a high side. We had my 85 year old mother with us so neither bathroom made it easy or enjoyable for her to bathe. There is no shower wall/curtain so the main bathroom floods and is dangerously slippery when you climb out. After 4 people showering, the floor was like a swimming pool, bath mat (1 provided) was soaked and we had to put bath towels on the floor to prevent an accident. We were very disappointed with the bathrooms. We also were only provided 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel each and had to ask for more. No pool towels provided - had to ask for some. This lets the villa down massively. Outdoor area - is lovely but the pool is very deep. Unsuitable for anyone with young children. The glass wall to see the views is a nice touch but it was filthy. The garden is unkempt and grass was over 1 metre tall, parasol broken (had to ask for replacement). Our view overall was we paid a 'luxury' price point but we got an average standard.
• Efstathiou (10/5): Perfect private getaway - +Spectacular and extremely clean villa, greatly located, with amazing facilities offered (fully equipped kitchen, bathroom , swimming pool ) and with privacy. Great for families with children but also for groups of friends. The hosts are very kind, friendly and super helpful with anything you need. We totally recommend it for great vacations in Zakynthos! We're definitely planning on visiting it again! Everything was spectacular!
• Konstantinos (10/5): A truly once in a lifetime trip in the most luxurious Villa, hosted by the most wonderful people. - I don't think we had any moments where we felt that something was missing. The Villa Moonstone were indeed a safe haven from all the crazy crowds, a perfect anchor and often took the preference when deciding between expensive sun loungers in posh beach clubs or simply coming back home to the Villa. We would be so lucky to return one day. Can't think of anything we didn't like!
