• De Schepper (10/5): Zeer aangename studio - Rustiger dan de meeste andere buurten en toch handig gelegen. Vanuit de studio te voet naar het British Museum (7 minuten), de theaters (20 minuten stappen) en Oxford Street gegaan (15 min). Niet echt het meest gekende stukje van Londen maar voor ons perfect omdat het er wat rustiger is . Studio zelf gezellig, genoeg ruimte, goede douche met snel warm water, goed uitgerust keukentje, rustig in het gebouw en een veilig gevoel,... Ideale kennismaking met Londen.

• Lora (7/5): We had an overall pleasant stay, but think the place is a bit overpriced considering there’s no housekeeping. - Excellent location - two big train stations and a tube station at a walking distance. No chip-cards or entrance keys, but an entry code access to the room, which we found very convenient. Modern kitchen appliances and supplies. A decent hair dryer and an iron were available in the room. The elevator goes only to the first floor. The staircase is narrow and tight, which makes carrying suitcases up and down quite difficult and dangerous. Room cleaning and towel and bedding changing is available at a fee of £30, which we found unfair and frankly too much, considering the price we paid for the room (we stayed there for 6 nights). There is a one-time option for a free towel change, for which one needs to inform the hotel Management 24h in advance. There is a vacuum cleaner available on each floor, which the guest can use to clean the rooms by themselves.

• Zi Yi (9/5): A very nice and convenient place to stay in Russell Square area. - It is very modern and clean, just recently renovated. The property is also very conveniently located, within 5 mins walk to the train station, supermarket and restaurants. Very nice and popular bakery, Fortitude, is less than 1 min walk away. Staff is very prompt in their responses. The laundry room is located outside, so not so convenient to do laundry at night or rainy days. Some of the classic standard rooms might not be so suitable for guests with big luggage as it could be quite small and tight with 2 adults staying in it.

Staff were very solicitous and sent frequent texts and gave quick responses. I'm not convinced that you really need an electronic copy of my photo ID, before check in details are given. I have never been asked for it before. It is particularly worrying when this request comes at the same time that Booking.com accommodation providers have had their links with customers compromised.

• Essi (9/5): Compact tidy accommodation, with good Location. - Clean and compact room with great amenities. You could have cooked your dinner and breakfast if you wish. Location was convenient. You could hear the talks from the room next door.
• michelle lisa (2/5): Stylish and clean, but with safety concerns and questionable service. - The accommodation was modern, stylish, and even cleaner than anticipated. The location is excellent, and the check-in process was seamless thanks to efficient communication and keypad codes sent well in advance. Having a coffee machine was also a great bonus. My stay was severely impacted by a 90-minute power cut at 9:45 pm, when I needed to eat and prepare for my meeting the next day. There was no visible contingency plan, leaving guests milling around in the dark without guidance. As a solo female traveller, the failure of the front-door security was particularly alarming, as it allowed several unknown individuals to enter the building unchallenged. I worried my door's individual electronic lock would leave me trapped, locked out, or fail when I was asleep. Without electricity, I couldn’t set a reliable alarm. When I asked when the issue would be resolved, I was asked to be patient and accept their apologies. In fairness, a different room was offered at the same time the power was restored, but it was too late to help my situation. I didn’t eat. I recognise that technical failures impact guests differently, but as a solo female traveller, the risks and impacts felt far greater. Having worked in customer-facing roles, I wanted to leave a review praising the hotel for going ‘above and beyond’ despite circumstances beyond their control. While the building is lovely, it is let down by an absence of genuine interest in customer care. I acknowledged that these things happen, but I wanted to feel valued as a guest, so I requested a partial refund as a goodwill gesture for the unusable portion of their service. My request was flatly refused. Ultimately, a stay that began with great potential ended in a stressful experience.

• Jeanine (9/5): Empfehlenswert - Gute Lage. UBahn Station Russell Square (Piccadilly Line) gleich um die Ecke und ebenfalls etliche Busstationen. Covent Garden 20 Min. zu Fuss. Die Wohnung ist zweckmässig eingerichtet. Man kann mit offenem Fenster schlafen und es ist trotzdem sehr ruhig. Gute Dusche, bequemes Bett. Die Küche haben wir nicht benutzt. Wir konnten das Gepäck um 9:00 deponieren und später einchecken. Wir haben eine Meldung erhalten, als das Zimmer bezugsbereit war. Das Bett war für uns ein bisschen zu schmal.

For the classic standard rooms, some could be quite small especially when you have 2 larger suitcases. Not all same type of rooms are the same sizes. The laundry room is outside, so you might not want to do laundry at night or rainy days.

Solo un piccolo dettaglio tecnico migliorabile🤣 Nella mia camera la carta igienica era un po' lontana dal water. Avvicinarla non sarebbe una cattiva idea.
• Menna (7/5): Great location but very limited amenities - The residences are in a prime location - very close to the Russell Square station, several bus station and nearby ebikes for easy transportation. There’s the Russell Square Gardens nearby as well for a relaxing stroll. The amenities are EXTREMELY limited. I asked for tissue paper and they said they do not provide it. I asked for ear swabs, they said they didnt provide it. These are basic amenities anywhere. Very strange.

Tout est bien prévu dans le logement, de la petite kitchenette aux produits de toilette. Idéal pour un voyage en famille pour découvrir Londres. Juste un peu bruyant à l'extérieur mais ça le logement n'y peut rien nous sommes dans une capitale!!

Er was bij aankomst nog iemand aanwezig, maar ik lreeg alleen te horen dat de kamer klaar was en dat ik een app kreeg met verdere instructies. Op de kamer was een qr code met verdere toelichting. Vreselijk om op die manier benadert te worden. Voor ons een reden om nooit meer een cleveland residence te boeken.

• TOBIAS 014 (9/5): Gute Homebase mit Komfort und zentral gelegen - Das Appartement liegt super gleich neben einer U-Bahnstation. Der Kontakt mit der Unterkunft verlief einwandfrei, die Leute waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist gut, Toaster, Teekocher, Kapsel-Maschine mit einer Basisausstattung an Verbrauchsmaterial. Hervorragend 💪

• Gilles (6/5): Teleurstellend. Londen met minimaal daglicht. - Locatie, mooi afgewerkte kamer, schoon. We hadden deze kamer geboekt vanwege de foto’s waarop te zien was dat er twee grote ramen zijn met veel natuurlijk licht. Tot onze teleurstelling bleken we kamer 107 te krijgen, volledig ingebouwd met een klein dakraam en een raam pal op een blinde muur. Het was formeel misschien begane grond, maar voelde meer als souterrain. We hebben onze teleurstelling meteen gemeld, via telefoon en e-mail, maar daar werd niets mee gedaan. We hadden blijkbaar moeten aangeven dat we een voorkeur hebben voor het appartement met de ramen, maar het was ons niet duidelijk dat er zo verschillende appartementen waren. Dus als je overweegt te boeken: laat je niet zoals ons misleiden door de foto van de mooiste kamer. Als we dit hadden geweten, hadden we dit nooit geboekt.
