• Anna (9/5): Very nice! - Very nice location, clean and pleasant room, and very good value for money. We rented a car, and it was very easy to park nearby, as there is a large parking area close to the Lido promenade. The kitchen was also very well equipped and had everything we could need. The bed was very comfortable. It is stated that breakfast is available, but when we arrived in the evening, we were informed that breakfast needs to be booked in advance. We were not aware of this beforehand, so it was a bit confusing. The receptionist on that particular day also seemed rather uninterested and did not provide much information. However, this happened only once, and the rest of the stay was pleasant.

The stairs to get to reception and elevator, aprox 4 stairs to hall luggage up was difficult for me. No washcloth for the bathroom.

• Anna (10/5): Sehr gutes Apartment als Base, um Madeira erkunden zu können - Die Lage ist gut- direkt an Lido in Funchal. Supermärkte etc. sind fussläufig erreichbar. In die Stadt geht man 20 Minuten, in die Altstadt ca.30. Das Apartment ist super ausgestattet, uns hat es ab nichts gefehlt. Die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt und Handtücher und Bettwäsche regelmäßig gewechselt. Parken kann man im Parkhaus in der Nähe (7€ pro Tag). Jedes Zimmer hat- wenn auch eingeschränkt- Meerblick. Auf der Dachterasse kann man nach einem langen Tag entspannen. Auch wenn gut gereinigt wurde, gab es staubige Ecken (aber das ist „meckern“ auf hohem Niveau)

• simona (10/5): Tutto perfetto! - Appartamento con il necessario per cucinare, un armadio per sistemare le proprie cose, un balconcino vista mare in cui si può anche mangiare, un letto grande e comodo, bagno perfetto con grande doccia, veramente ottimo. Vengono ogni giorno a sistemare la camera. Nulla che non mi sia piaciuto!

• Gaëtan (9/5): Agréable…a recommander. - Propreté, proximité avec le commerce en bas( achat pour le déjeuner etc). Le personnel qui s’occupait du ménage le faisait avec beaucoup d’attention . La plupart du temps une bonne tranquillité. Près du centre de Funchal sinon bus en bas de l’hôtel pour s’y rendre. De plus près d’une buanderie. Les gens devraient faire plus attention au déplacement des meubles …..sinon mettre des coussinets sous les pattes de chaises.

• Marjo (10/5): Onze vakantie was mede door het verblijf uitzonderlijk goed. - Locatie op prima plek, naast de bushalte. Goede uitgebreide winkel onder het hotel, alles te koop inclusief zeer goede belegde broodjes. Ontbijt was goed maar door de winkel dit verder zelf gaan regelen. Appartement had prima uitgeruste keuken. Verder was de schoonmaak uitmuntend, iedere twee dagen schone handdoeken en iedere vier dagen schoon beddengoed. Alles was prima en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

• Marta (10/5): Świetny stosunek jakości do ceny! - Super lokalizacja - tuż przy hotelu przystanek Aerobusu z lotniska i autobusów miejskich do centrum Funchal. Na dole hotelu dobrze zaopatrzony market/bar, w spacerowej odległości Pingo Doce, restauracje, bary i promenada nad oceanem. Sam hotel bardzo przyjemny - czysto, wygodne łóżka, dobre WiFi, kompetentna obsługa i fajny taras na dachu. Serdecznie polecam! Nie było takiej rzeczy.

Limpieza de la habitacion excelente, muebles modernos, cama cómoda, lencería limpia y en buen estado. Ubicado en area turística, rodeado de restaurantes y tiendas, a pasos de las piscinas del Lido. Parada de transporte publico incluyendo el bus del aeropuerto al lado del hotel. Hotel muy recomendable.

Die Herdplatte hatte schlechte Qualität. Das Kochen dauerte ewig. Es waren nur 2 Gläser, zwei Teller. Sehr bescheiden. Obwohl das Zimmer seitlich war, hörte man besonders morgens den Verkehr. Das Frühstück - nur kontinental viel zu teuer - 12 €.

• Ilya (7/5): - It was okay for a couple of nights. Nothing special. The kitchen is super small, so manage your expectations. It was noisy. If you are in the car, it's almost impossible to even stop in front of the hotel. So you will have to park down the street and walk. Not a big deal, but it'll take your time to discover. There are streets with parking available so get ready to spent time on it and it'll be fine.

Breakfast was just fair, would had expected more fruits and some local cookies. You can’t hear much the street on the back rooms but you can easily hear your neighbours.

Y ruido de la calle por la noche prácticamente nada, eso es lo que más valoro, el poder descansar sin ruido. La habitación tenía de todo lo necesario. Buena limpieza. Está en un zona muy buena. El aparcamiento es todo zona azul, pero si no te importa caminar, nosotros encontramos zona de aparcamiento gratis y está como a 1km caminando (cerca de El Hotel Pestana) Las camas son un poco incómodas. El colchón y las almohadas no me gustaron mucho

• Vera (8/5): Goed hotel op gunstige lokatie van alle gemakken voorzien. - Leuk klein hotel met goede kamers voor kort verblijf. Heerlijke krachtige waterstraal in de douche. Goede bedden. Het ligt gelegen boven een kleine supermarkt. De lift is erg klein, met veel bagage maar voor 1 persoon tegelijk.

• Martin (4/5): - Lage + Ausstattung + Preis Die Wände waren extrem hellhörig, und unser Zimmer lag zur Straßenseite, was den Schlaf deutlich beeinträchtigt hat. Zusätzlich war die nächtliche Geräuschkulisse abseits des Straßenlärms ungewöhnlich, da offenbar etwas vibriert hat. Das Bett empfanden wir als sehr hart, und die Handtücher hatten einen unangenehmen Geruch.

• Laura (8/5): Helpful staff and a very practical option for staying in Funchal. - Great staff; friendly and very helpful. The location was good for us. The apartment was perfect for our needs; clean, functional and well appointed. I would stay here again. Some rooms were more affected by road noise than others (but we had expected this, given the hotel's location). The walls/floors/ceilings must be pretty thin, as you could hear what was happening in neighbouring rooms very clearly. In one room, there was an almost-constant humming, droning noise (possibly a big aircon unit somewhere on the building?). Bad smells would come out of the central drain in the bathroom every day, particularly after a shower. It was at its worst in the mornings, presumably when lots of rooms are using their showers. Some of the fixtures and fittings were starting to look a bit tired and worn around the edges, but they were still clean and functional.

• Diogo (8/5): Um Hotel muito confortável e convidativo. - A localização e a qualidade dos trabalhadores são os pontos mais fortes deste estabelecimento. A facilidade de fazer check-in e check-out também é um ponto muito positivo. O quarto onde ficamos alojados, no caso o 208 tinha alguns aspetos a melhorar: - A janela não fechava totalmente - A cortina deixava entrar um pouco de clareza de manhã - A casa de banho tinha um barulho constante de agua a pingar vindo da sanita.
