- Lis B (8/5): - Claudia, Luis and Gonzalo were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and location is in a quiet street, a short walk to shop and restaurants. We had the room with the kitchen, nice size room but no windows. Our fault, we could of changed rooms. I suggest choosing the other rooms though. They all have windows and look lovely.

Honestly Laureles is such a lovely respite from the rest of the city, even compared to El Poblado. We returned there for lunch and dinner most times because it's so nice in the area. Supermarket and pharmacy close by, alongside heaps of bars restaurants and cafes. Huge washer dryer on site available for 50,000 COP for 1 wash and dry which is exceptionally good value. Honestly loved this spot! No complaints.

I personally loved the art and furniture in the room. The location was perfect to walk to bars, restaurants and amenities in what felt very safe. Hot water was readily available. The check-in process was swift and easy. Wi-Fi at the property. I liked everything.

The owner can help you book tours at good prices. If you’re a light sleeper some earplugs are needed because it can sometimes be a bit noisy. Also the shower and the shower drain need some repairs.

- Hamid (8/5): Very good - Location was 11 out of 10. Common area was cosy. Staff were helpful. Bed was too small. I’m an average height and my feet were outside the bed! The walls are not sound proof, so we could easily hear the neighbour rooms watch TV, talk, and getting in and out (this is an old home turned into a guesthouse).

Allowed for us to keep luggage there before check in and after check out The kitchen has very limited equipment (no kettle, no cooking utensils), only plates, bowls and 2 pans. Toilet got blocked. Informed the staff and the response was us being given a plunger to solve it ourselves. Checkout is 12:00 but at 11:00 we had a knock on the door asking us to leave, didn’t apologise even after he realised he was in the wrong, as checkout was 12.
