• Gil (9/5): Extremely good place to stay! - The place it self was very warm feeling and nice, the shower and the little balcony was very nice, also the espresso machine was a nice touch. The bed sheets could be a little cleaner

• Megan (6/5): Overall nice experience. - The property was a great location, bed was comfortable and room was spacious with lots of storage. The property was on a very busy street with old fashioned windows which aren’t sound proofed, if you don’t mind noise you’ll be fine here but it was constantly loud no matter what time of day. From people shouting, cyclists, deliveries etc. Someone also in the building was constantly banging doors in the early hours of the morning throughout our whole stay, from 1am onwards. There was only 1 coffee pod with the coffee machine, pods aren’t something you’d bring with you when it’s advertised there’s a coffee machine in the property.

• Helen (5/5): It's not great, but good location - There is zero communication with owner except for generic emails. The phone number doesn't work (or they don't respond to it) and they never responded to 4 emails I sent, despite in the generic emails saying I should contact them if I have issues. It's an old building, so I understand it isn't perfect, but there was no mention of the very steep and narrow stairs to go up with heavy luggage. The bed had clean sheets, but the room itself was quite dirty. The curtains are black with dust that falls everywhere when trying to close them. The TV did not work, there were no batteries in the remote, so we bought some but the TV wasn't connected to anything and didn't work. That was the most dissapointing part as we had flown for 24 hours and we just needed rest. No cutlery, glasses or cups like shown in images. The balcony is not even worth mentioning and photos of the room are totally distorted. However, location wise, it's a 10 minute walk from central station, so close to everything. Dirty curtains, mould at bottom of shower, shower drain didn't drain, just flooded, no TV no transparency around the very steep narrow stairs to get to the room, I wouldn't have chosen the room had I known that.
• Giulia (8/5): Amsterdam in tre giorni - La posizione è perfetta: vicino alla stazione centrale di Amsterdam e l’accesso tramite codice/link è comodo, poiché permette flessibilità e sicurezza. La camera da letto è molto carina, con balconcino presente e mini frigo. Spazioso anche il bagno. Non c’era sapone per le mani e i prodotti da bagno in omaggio erano letteralmente solo due bottigliette minuscole di shampoo. Per fortuna siamo stati pochi giorni e avevamo i nostri prodotti. Infine solo due asciugamani grandi, quindi uno a testa, sono pochi considerando che dovevi usare lo stesso asciugamano per tutto. Non c’era nemmeno il tappettino per uscire dalla doccia. Sia lo scarico della doccia che del lavandino si intasavano in continuazione.

• Antonio (5/5): A nice place and with a little attention it can feel way better. - The decoration is nice and it’s clean. Location is great. The heating is on all the time and the room radiator cannot be adjusted. The windows in the bathroom don’t open. This leaves you with not being able to regulate the temperature and you may have to keep a window open so you’re back is cold but you’re sweating all night. It’s nice that it’s hot but it’s too hot and then when going out to 1 degrees it’s a huge difference. You have to get ready and leave instantly so you don’t sweat.. The main lamp in the room is quite dark and you’re not able to see things well. The check in at 4pm leaves you walk around with luggage for a couple hours. You either pay quite a big chunk to get in earlier or you have to leave it at the station lockers and pick it up later.

• Elisa (2/5): al freddo e al gelo per 3 giorni su 4. - la posizione della struttura è ottima. vicino alla stazione centrale, vicino a piazza Dam dirimpetto ad una favolosa pasticceria e accanto a vari localini carini. se il riscaldamento avesse funzionato fin dal primo giorno e non solo l'ultimo sarebbe stata un luogo da consigliare ad amici e conoscenti. la maleducazione dell'host e il fatto che abbia smesso di rispondere sia a noi che a booking è vergognoso. siamo state mezza giornata senza acqua calda e la sola pompa di calore non permetteva ne di scaldare l'ambiente nè di asciugare i teli da bagno. solo l'ultimo giorno grazie ad una vicina di casa siamo riuscite ad avere i termosifoni accesi sia in camera che nel bagno. ovviamente di tutto questo abbiamo video foto e misurazioni della temperatura in tempo reale.
• Softic (7/5): - Top Lage im Herzen von Amsterdam und außergewöhnlich freundliches Personal. Anliegen wurden schnell und professionell gelöst. Preisleistungsverhältnis für Neu Jahr war super! Das Gebäude ist sehr alt, dadurch kühl und hellhörig. Im Badezimmer ist Schimmel!

Ninguna para las manos/cara/pies Tuvimos que comprar perchas para colgar la ropa en los armarios, no había ninguna. No hay gel, ni champú, sólo una pastilla de jabón. No conexión a TV por antena
• Justin (9/5): 4 nights in Amsterdam - Location was perfect. Bed was very comfortable.shower had really good water pressure unlike some places. The walls could do with a paint to refresh. Silicone sealant around shower base needs doing because of mould. And really need a blind in the bathroom. 1 of the bedside sockets is loose and 1 bed light doesn't work.

Nos serviettes sales avec des tâches noires, les draps de lits pareils. En dessous du lit...pas de commentaire. Prevoyez une combinaison de ski pour aller dans la salle de bain, car pas de chauffage.. La luminosité laisse a désirer aussi et pas de grand miroir.

La zona e la via della suite è veramente bellissima e comodissima per arrivare in centro anche a piedi, ed è servita da alimentari, supermercati, tabacchi ristoranti ecc. La Suite anche molto carina e rispecchia le foto dell'annuncio, tranne per il bagno che è davvero piccolissimo e scomodo e senza finestra. Per fortuna avevamo la pompa di calore dell'aria condizionata, perchè i caloriferi erano presenti, ma perennemente spenti e ghiacciati e non sapevamo se poterli accendere o no. Più che altro perchè soggiornando quasi 3 giorni, ed avendo a disposizione solo due mini asciugamani, era impossibile usarli sempre umidi, avremmo preferito avere più asciugamani a disposizione. Il letto era comodissimo, ma avevamo le federe dei cuscini sporche. Consiglio di anticipare il check in almeno alle 14/15, per venire incontro alle esigenze dei turisti che arrivano ad Amsterdam la mattina presto, senza dover consigliare di noleggiare un locker per i bagagli, e quindi dover spendere sempre tanti soldi per raggiungere la comodità e aspettare che vengano fatte delle pulizie, quando di pulito c'era ben poco. bye bye Amsterdam

• Hope (9/5): Great! lovely clean and quiet apartment and would highly recommend - We had a lovely stay, found it difficult to locate the front door at first, but after contacting the host we found it! Good location as it’s very central and only five minutes from the train station! and considering it is located on a busy street, the apartment was so quiet! Would recommend ☺️ The only negative thing we have to say is the shower did not drain properly so we had to be cautious not to have long showers, but this can be easily resolved so nothing major!

• Raul (10/5): A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Amsterdam - Yourbnb Suites Haarlemmerstraat is truly a hidden gem, perfectly located just a few minutes' walk from Amsterdam Central Station. The studio is spacious, stylish, and extremely comfortable, featuring a huge, cozy bed, a compact but functional bathroom (which is quite typical for Amsterdam), and thoughtful amenities like a coffee maker, kettle, and mini-fridge for your drinks and snacks. The staff is outstanding—always warm, attentive, and quick to respond to any request or question. Their kindness made our stay feel extra special, especially with the lovely welcome gift waiting for us in the room. While there's some street noise on weekend nights, it’s nothing that interfered with a good night’s sleep. I’m genuinely happy with our stay here and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the city. 100% recommended!
• Georgia (9/5): Great location, clean and comfortable apartment - Excellent location that’s very close to Centraal, Jordaan and the centre of the city. There are lots of great food options nearby. I stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and there were some mildly noisy neighbours. It was a little annoying but I was still able to sleep without ear plugs (I’m not a deep sleeper).

• Rav (10/5): 10/10 property, location and host - First off I want to say to all the people reading negative reviews DO NOT be put off by them - after staying here it is very clear to me that the bad reviews are from people who cannot follow simple instructions such as clicking an arrow on a door to lock it or choosing the sun icon on remote for heating and due to their own ignorance they give bad reviews to such a great host and property - it is unfair for this property to have a 6.5 rating due to ignorant guests - I absolutely loved my stay as did my wife, location is perfect very central close to coffee shops if that’s your thing (the room is on a main Coffeeshop strip) lots of food around, very close to station, the room was very comfortable and romantic so couples keep this in mind, bathroom is very modern, the balcony is a treat, very quaint with a lovely close up view of the iconic surrounding Amsterdam tall buildings, a nice treat for a tourist. The TV was great pre packed with Netflix YouTube and more, check in was as smooth as could be, messaged the host received a response promptly and we were in via code so private check in, feels nice as you look like a local entering the property as it doesn’t not have hotel signage - nice touch. The hosts themselves are very friendly to talk to and very helpful, also there is a smeg fridge in the room this is awesome - long story short - book this property and as long as you can read and follow instructions you will not be disappointed What could have been better? If I could have stayed longer 😂
• Beata (10/5): Highly recommended - Excellent location. Walking distance from all attractions. Grocery stores, cafes, coffee shops, restaurants just steps away. Literally downstairs. Although the street is busy with tourists is quiet. Room was light and spacious. Very nice window view. Bed was very very comfy. Warm, light, soft big duvet. Blackout curtains. Ac/ heater was working well. Iron and hairdryer was available.
• Saralee (2/5): Irresponsible management and way too expensive for what we got. - Bed was comfortable. Quiet at night. We didn’t receive code to get in apartment even though I called Amsterdam from the US and was told by Mike that he would send an email with the code after our arrival at airport. Had to call him again after arrival to get info. No instructions in the apartment about how to lock door, close window. No coffee cups. No dish washing liquid to clean dishes. Would NEVER use these people or their apartments again.

• Angelo (1/5): Cheap but not recomendable - Location is good and the check in easy. It is an airbnb with a code on the door. The place presents several issues: 1. The AC broke and stopped heating the room. The landlord never bothered replying (or read the messages via the booking app.) I had to call them, they say they would look into and then disappeared. I tried to call them again and they never replied. Customers service is terrible. I was forced to book another hotel. 2. There are some paltes, forks and knives in the apartment. They are greasy and dusted. There is nowhere where to wash them. 3. The windows do not close well, leaving space where the air and the noise can pass. 4. On Sunday morning there were people playing music from 7 am in the street. Making rest impossible due to the lack of adequate windows. Overall cheap but NOT recommended.
