Guest Reviews
- Guest (10/5): Great place in a great location - Fantastic apartment. Great location for seeing all the sights. Vatican 45min walk, colloseum 36min walk, Trevi fountains 50mins. Lots of lovely cafes and you have to try oteleg (gelato bar) best in Rome. The apartment also had everything you need including a espresso machine for coffee The shower was great but had a blocked drain which was a bit annoying
- Anne (8/5): Very good - Spacious and nicely decorated flat in a great Trastevere spot. Some suggestions to make the stay nicer: There was no place to hang the coats in the hallway and no brush or sponge to wash the dishes. We stayed for a week, but had to shop for a sponge and toilet paper, as that was also missing. Taking the carbage with us on the way to the airport is not what I’d expected for this price range. The couch cover didn’t look very nice with a hole…
Another funny thing was that we could open the downstairs gate only by pressing the buzzer downstairs, which rang very loud in the flat. Not very nice trying to take a nap when the travel companion goes to the supermarket… Small things adding up so that couldn’t give a better note. The flat itself is otherwise great but the service and overall impression just ok. I’m sure these can get fixed easily.
The location is great!
- Victoria (8/5): Beautiful apartment in the heart of Trastevere - we loved it. - Great light and bright apartment, perfectly located in Trastevere. Well appointed and nice to have a proper dining area. We’d come here again!
Cafe over the road does great pastries and (despite the lack of kerb appeal) the Panella supermarket downstairs is cavernous and sells everything you could need. The main issue is that pillows were poor and lumpy which affected our sleep.
Also surprised that the online entry system had to be used to access the building every time - when most people are out all day sightseeing, making sure your phone battery lasts adds an extra level of stress. A key would have been really helpful.
A bit annoying not to have basic seasoning - we left our pepper mill there for the next guests.
Nothing major in the grand scheme of things!
- Mihaela (9/5): Great location to explore Roma - Great location , a lot of space Some coffee pods / tea would have been nice. But i understand it s not mandatory
- Tomas (8/5): Very good -
- Martina (9/5): Nice and spacious apartment in the middle of Trastevere - The apartment is perfectly located. In the middle of beautiful Trastevere. We had a lot of space to hang out and to chill in the evening. There was even a kitchen and every thing for doing laundry. We loved the stay there and would come back here! The guest bed was not prepared and we had to look for the blankets.
The water in the shower did not run off without helping by hand
- Shirley (8/5): Trastevere Apartment, Rome - Spacious apartment in a good location in Trastevere. Very clean and tidy.
Couple of places to eat directly below the apartment. Two grocery shops few doors up to the left (close at 20:00, open at 07:00). A deli right by. End of the next block is Giselda for amazing bread, cakes and coffee. They had the best Maritozzi buns we tried.
Out of the apartment door and turn left towards the square then right is Ristorante Spagherttari dal 1896 for good food with lovely staff.
A few minutes walk along from here takes you to Piazza Di Santa Maria where you are in the thick of the action.
We walked everywhere! Most historic places where within 30 to 40 minutes walk. Google maps is your friend!
We are touring around so the washing machine was essential to us but we did notice a self service laundry a few blocks away. Proper iron and iron board also provided.
Bed was very comfortable king size. Mattress and pillow protectors and fresh smelling bedding. Lots of wardrobe space. No mirrors except for in the bathroom.
Kitchen was adequately equipped.
Large walk in shower (take care of the step up for slipping).
Elevator was such a relief to have as on the top floor.
We were here for a week and overall were very comfortable. We would revisit. The apartment has alot of charm. The entry instructions were quite convoluted. Make sure you read them throughly and most essentially have Internet access the link to open both the building door and the internal gate. You open the link on the check in instructions you are sent which takes you to a Web page with a button which says "Open door". You buzz the apartment number then tap the button on your device. The door will click open. You do the same process for the internal gate. Note, you also have to do this for opening the internal gate for leaving but not the building door. I arrived in the evening before my husband and after travelling all day and being a lady of a certain age, couldn't get the door to open and was starting to get distressed. My husband opened the door via the Web page from the airport he was departing from.... Very Mission Impossible! Of course after the first time it was easy!
The telephone number provided for the agency who look after the property is not manned. Only communication is either email or their portal.
The apartment doesn't have air con and Rome was 36 degrees when we visited.. very hot! They only provide two fans, one of which was a floor fan. Not a problem for us as we just move them around to where we were, but if you had four people staying a couple more standing fans should be provided.
There are no basic items or welcome pack provided and the grocery shop was closed when I arrived so first morning was a stock up. At the price paid, it would be nice if a small welcome pack was provided and the condiments left by other visitors were left for the new arrivals instead of being taken away.
A leaflet giving instructions on where to find the bins and recycle along with where the local facilities (grocery, recommended places to eat etc) are would have been very helpful. Or get a guest book and ask guests to write what they found.
- Katie (10/5): Great location, busy neighborhood, lots of restaurants, access to public transport, walkable. - Spacious. Comfortable. Nothing.
- Paul (10/5): The apartment helped make our stay in Rome great’ - Clean, great location, lift made it easy! Nothing, would go back!
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sony (8/5): Very good -
- Ljubomir (10/5): Very good apartment, highly recommending. - Good location, clean apartment, nice hosts. Super fast reply in case of any questions or queries. Heating was off when we came, it took some time to heat up the flat.
