• Weronika (6/5): Immer wieder. Die Lage ist Perfekt. - Die Lage ist super!!!! Leider war große Baustelle neben dem Haus, der Geräusche Spiegel/ Lärm war sehr groß.

• Claudio (1/5): - Lo único bueno son la ubicación, las vistas y la piscina. Todo el mobiliario es viejo, sucio e incómodo, demasiado caro para lo que ofrece deberían invertir en la conservación del apartamento, no repetiría.
• Silvia (5/5): - Las vistas ,la piscina y cercanía a la playa El apartamento tenía todo mal,la lavadora te estropeaba la ropa con un olor. Los sillones incómodosimos te sentabas y te hacías daño. La plancha nada más qe te empapaba la ropa en vez de planchar. Un calor insoportable. La nevera no enfriaba nada solo el congelador y se te estropeaba la comida. A y por último los sillones sucisimos te daba asco tumbarte.
• Ana María (6/5): - La ubicación Los armarios de los dormitorios eran viejos, el de uno de los dormitorios ni si quiera lo pudimos usar porque olía mal. En la cocina había muy poco espacio de encimera, muy pocos armarios donde guardar comida, no tenía lavavajillas y la nevera era pequeña. Además la terraza que da al norte se llena de excrementos de las palomas.

• MARIA LUISA (6/5): Instalaciones del apartamento muy mejorables - La ubicación ( terraza con vistas a la playa) y la piscina comunitaria El apartamento estaba muy viejo, el mobiliario muy anticuado, el baño muy pequeño y antiguo, los colchones y las almohadas viejísimas y muy incomodas, no había aire acondicionado y la lavadora no funcionaba bien.

• Raya (8/5): We had a very enjoyable week based on the apartment. - A lovely flat with balconies on both sides of the building, a reasonably well equipped kitchen with sharp kitchen knives, good bathroom, plentiful hot water, lift to access third floor, free parking on the street, quiet surroundings. Kitchen could have had washing up liquid and a dishcloth, a grater, another large saucepan, and a few rubbish bags. Bathroom could have had 4 toilet rolls instead of just one. When booking we stated that we would be using the sofa bed but there was no bed linen provided for it. There were no bath towels. When we asked at reception we got all those items, so the problems were sorted, thank you.

The receptionist was rather rude about it implying it was our fault there wasn't an apartment clean The apartment we ended up with in another block was fine- basic but cheap and cheerful
• Yvonne (8/5): Loved Calpe. - Excellent location. Good swimming pool. Apartment block clean. Friendly staff. Large balcony. Great views. Furniture in apartment very old, shabby and broken. Seating extremely uncomfortable. Washing machine does not spin clothes. Shelves in bathroom coming away from the wall. Shower doors do not close. No plug for the kitchen sink. I could go on. Will request a different room next time. We unfortunately stayed in this apartment last year and had the same problems. Please ask owners to address these issues.

• Hayley (9/5): Was nice but for a self catering apartment was costly - Nice size apartments, plenty of bedding and blankets provided. Could have at least left 1 toilet roll in the toilet upon arrival as there was none when we arrived, I know it's self catering but after traveling for 6 hours and getting to the room it's not nice having to go 5 minutes to supermarket straight away to by an essential item that should already have been there at least a small bit on a roll would have been noce. Also the 1 time I attempted to cook no gas came out of the cooker Hob so was unable to cook the food I bought. Looked everywhere and in every cupboard to see of a switch needed to be put on but ilthe gas was just not working
• Verified traveler (6/5): Dated Apartment - Turmalina its self was lovely. The aprtment was extremely dated. Air con didn't work and only Spanish tv channels avaiable. Would not be keen to stay in that apartment again.
• Janis (8/5): Calpe is a lovely resort Turmalina is in a great location would recommend it except abysmal internet - Nice location and rooms clean and roomy. The internet connection was horrendous …. considering these days it’s important to have access to the internet to travel ie our taxi details back to the airport were being emailed 24 hours before travel and also our boarding passes were emailed about 20 hours before take off it was imperative to have access in order to access these emails but it proved anything but simple and caused some stress and anxiety as we couldn’t get into our emails to download anything. We did eventually manage to get on-line but it took absolutely ages and when we eventually gained access it was very very slow. The whole debacle put a dampener on our stay.
• Janna (6/5): An okay stay, a working Wi-Fi would have made everything better - The location is amazing and for the price, it’s comfortable enough. Shower was great and the water pressure was brilliant Washing machine seemed quite new which is great The Wi-Fi does not work at all, which makes staying there as a foreigner a nightmare especially when I planned on doing some work while there. Also, the apartment is freezing so you have to have the gas heater on a lot, which isn’t ideal and there’s only one heater for a two bedroom apartment

• Petra (2/5): Never again will I stay in Turmalina - The view was lovely The room was exceptionally dated (60s) everything was surface tidy but not clean we did not use any of the cooking facilities or the washing machine because everything was falling apart or just dirty. The bed was disgusting, extremely uncomfortable ( like sleeping on a sack of potatoes) and the mattress was full of stains. Never have I ever had to sleep in such a filthy establishment. They say, you get what you pay for! but I have paid much less for much cleaner working facilities. Trip hazards in the living area from broken floor tiles, a shower that literally floods the bathroom and kitchen floor, things sellotaped together, dirty sofa and cushion’s, dirty bed throws, lamps that either don’t work or were falling apart, a washing machine that needed cleaning before you put your dirty clothes in it, a patio table with a leg falling off, an air con unit that was fixed to the wall, low enough to take chunks out your head if you stood to close to it, a kettle full of limescale. My list could go on!!! To top it off, building works, hammering and walls being knocked down above us, you had to go out the apartment for sanity from the noise and the germs. The pull out bed was dirty and falling apart, the bathroom was so tiny, you literally could not turn around without banging yourself. I took more photos of the state of the apartment than I did of my holiday. Oh and as for internet, good luck with that as it’s non existent!!
• Terry (9/5): Excellent place to say and highly recommended despite falling down in some areas. - Our 13th stay in these Apts so we like it a lot! It’s why we keep coming back. Location is No.1 box ticked as pool, beach & and all local hostelries are a stone throw away. It’s a bit dated furniture wise but as most Apts are privately owned and were built in late 80s I’m not surprised and don’t expect this to change anytime soon. Also the Wifi is very, very poor and has been for a very long time.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Turmalina - Had to upgrade to better quality room, since booked room clearly under renovation (no shower curtains, for one thing). Cramped configuration. Staff very helpful in this respect, but lot more money. Even upgraded roon not so good, mould around sliding shower doors. Kitchen light not working.

• MATTHEW (8/5): A mixed review, with good and bad - The apartment we stayed in was nice enough. We booked it under the impression it had air conditioning, but it just had two small fans. Initially disappointed there was only one bathroom but we coped ok. Very impressed with the views from our balcony’s. Our only issues were the lack of air conditioning as mentioned above, the couch stank of old urine or something and the floor needed a good clean. The pool area is amazing and it’s only a short stroll to the beach and shops.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Prachtig appartement mooi uitzicht. - Groot balkon vriendelijk personeel receptie 24 per dag open. Klein minpuntje: mensen met rollator/rolstoel kunnen moeilijk lift en appartement uit omdat de deuren niet automatisch gaan. Scootmobiel kan je huren bij de receptie. Deze mag daar ook opladen. Wel smal om naar binnen te gaan. Met iemand erbij was het verblijf goed te doen

• JC (8/5): Almost on the beach - This is probably our 6th consecutive year in Turmalina. Basic but comfortable & secure. Full sun on the balconies, great pool area, lots of restaurants and bars close by but you are not in the old town. The apartments can be a bit of a lottery depending on who owns them and when they last refurbished them.
• Marc (8/5): Perfect central location - Great location, close to the beach, shops restaurants. Excellent private pools and not excessively busy as only open from 11.00am to 21.00. Parking is difficult but there are underground garages to rent for a few Euro per day. Staff were brilliant and resolved any issues we had. Accommodation is basic but clean and functional and the balcony offers an amazing view of the beach. Would definitely go back.
• Albert (10/5): Endlich wieder Frische Luft. - Das Turmalina in Calpe ist Wunderbar. Hier hatte ich die Schönsten Ferien. Preis-Leistung war das Beste. Ob Bus oder zu Fuss immer gute Verbindung. Strandwanderungen, Stadtbummel, immer gute Restaurants, oder einfach gar nichts machen, Erholung pur.

Filterkaffeemaschine rinnt, Pfannen nicht brauchbar, Matratzen alt, Wohnzimmer-Couch uraltes Stück, zum Sitzen und Schlafen ungeeignet, Schaumstoffkern schmutzig, unter den Möbeln wurde noch nie gereinigt, dicke Staubschicht!

• Verified traveler (8/5): Schöne Apartmentanlage in erster Strandlinie. - Die Apartmentanlage hat eine ideale Lage in ersten Reihe zum herrlichen Sandstrand. Man braucht nur die Fußgänger-Promenade überqueren. Das Apartment ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet und bietet einen sehr großen Balkon mit Blick auf das Meer. Leider haben wir unsauberes Geschirr im Schrank vorgefunden. Da war wohl der Vormieter recht schlampig und es wurde leider nicht vom Reinigungspersonal entdeckt. Ansonsten alles OK!

• raul (4/5): Apartamento muy antiguo - Mi familia y yo estuvimos alojados 12 días. El apartamento no se ha renovado nunca. El baño está muy mal conservado, al igual que los muebles de la cocina americana. Los colchones, tanto del dormitorio como del sofá cama, estaban en muy mal estado, muy antiguos. La situación del apartamento, el acceso a la playa y la piscina muy bien, con posibilidad de alquilar plaza de garaje.
