• Olaf_nz (9/5): Great village feel. - The neighborhood children were very friendly to our kids. No problems, once we figured out how to switch on the shower heater. Maybe it needs a notice. The bedroom light is a little annoying as the fan blades spinning make it flicker - but that is a very minor problem.
• Marvin (2/5): Rude host, hole in the wall - AC is working in both bedrooms. After we told the host, that the water for the faucet and shower isn't working it was solved quickly. There is a hole in the wall where you can directly see the outside. Furthermore there were ramains from the previous guest in the toilet. In the bathroom there is no window, just a grid. And you also have a nice view of the local mountain of garbage. The fridge is so full of ice buildup that it can't even cool the ice cubes inside. After we requested a partial refund the host got really rude and accused us of leaving feces all over the bathroom. Then he accused is that we did that just to claim a refund. I made 25+ bookings with booking.com and only once before requested a partial refund. This behavior is unbearable.

• Swanee (10/5): A home away from home - 1) The friendly owner who is there when we check in. She shows me how to entries the key from the key tree lock. Love the key tree lock! 😘 2) The location is ideal for the Firefly cruise especially when one has to drive in the night. It’s near enough to the firefly park that one can easily book the late cruise and still feel comfortable about getting back to the house (about 5 — 10 mins’ drive). We took the 8:30pm cruise. 3) Easy to find as there is a big banner in front that states the name of the homestay. 4) The floor rug at the foot of the bed is great to stand on instead of the cold tiled floor. 5) The quiet neighbourhood allows for a great night’s sleep. 1) The sliding bathroom door makes a lot of noise when opening and closing it as it is not properly aligned with the track. 2) No wifi
