The upstairs patio was a great place to sit It was loud. You could hear all the street traffic and honking and construction noise.

• ELIZABETH IRENE (8/5): Cómodo y práctico - El desayuno estuvo muy bueno, pueden mejorar la limpieza de la terraza, así mismo los cuartos son muy cómodos, grandes, sin embargo, como llovió empezó a gotear sobre la cama grande, fue una observación menor.

• Birgit (9/5): Fijne plek - Locatie in het oude centrum, fijn dakterras met uitzicht op de vulkanen om te ontbijten, lekker ontbijt met verse koffie, eitjes en vers vruchtensap, schone kamers, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Het verkeerslawaai van Arequipa, dat heb je in vrijwel de hele stad.

• Luise (9/5): Süße und individuelle Unterkunft, gut für ein paar Tage Arequipa geeignet - Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft war liebevoll gestaltet, hat oben eine Terrasse mit Bergblick, die Zimmer sind klein aber fein, Warmwasser gab es auch. Frühstück Standardmäßig mit Ei, Brötchen und Obst. Unser Zimmer war direkt neben der Eingangstür und die Wände sind, wie bei fast jedem Gebäude in Peru, eher hellhörig, weshalb es etwas laut war.

• Kirsten (8/5): Empfehlenswert - Mein Zimmer war ganz toll, aber im Vergleich zu den üblichen Preisen in Perú war es recht teuer. Zu der Zeit war allerdings auch eine Messe in der Stadt. Man kann alles gut fußläufig erreichen. Das Frühstück wird auf der wunderschönen Dachterrasse (mit tollem Ausblick) serviert. Ich konnte schon um 5:30 meine Sachen dort abstellen und das Zimmer war bereits um 10:30 bezugsfertig. Hinter dem Haus ist eine große Kreuzung mit einigen Bushaltestellen, dort wird bereits ab früh morgens kräftig gehupt.

It's a quiet little hotel with 6 bedrooms set around small courtyard, nice roof terrace Staff very friendly, but not 24 hrs Excellent value, plenty of character and a nice place to stay. I provided my own breakfast on roof terrace, used the hotel's kitchen for kettle and fridge, helped myself to crockery and cutlery. The hotel kitchen is extremely dirty and poorly lit.

Établissement très bruyant (d'ailleurs il y a des boules quies sur les tables de nuit), proximité de la gare routière klaxon +++, sirènes... Petit déjeuner servi à table, le même tous les jours, 1 œuf au plat, une clémentine, pain, thé, café. Beaucoup trop cher par rapport à la prestation fournie.

• GEMA (6/5): LO MEJOR LA UBICACION - la ubicación, puedes moverte caminando por todo el centro histórico. Está limpio pero le falta mantenimiento. La terraza del desayuno y la de la habitación están bien, con vistas a los volcanes. Te dejan tapones para el ruido, que es bastante fuerte, de maquinaria y de la calle. En booking filtré establecimientos con parking, pero al llegar nos dijeron que no tenían parking, que si necesitábamos uno nos podían reservar uno cercano al día siguiente. El desayuno pedí leche caliente y me dijeron que no tenían como calentarla, el café que te preparas tu mismo tiene muchos posos que se filtran. Las habitaciones están muy descuidadas de mantenimiento, pintura agrietada, etc.

• Chris (7/5): - It was nice having a private terrace. Whilst noisy the location was good. Just an 8 minute walk to the main square. We had the Terrace room which was tired. The paint was flaking off the ceilings on both the bedroom and bathroom. Very very noisy 24 hours a day ear buds were needed. Shower was luke warm at best. Asked for a takeaway breakfast as breakfast didn't start until 0730 and we were leaving at that time. They agreed then didn't bother.

It’s possible to enter the property via passcode so no key is needed which is a plus. Nice terrace. Was quite loud in the evenings.

• Mladen (10/5): Best in Arequipa - The best host I ever get. I’ve been welcomed 5am with a smile. The guy makes us a coffee and offers a room immediately. A few hours later they change the room as we ordered and gave us a breakfast out of hours. We’ve got the keys for gate as well , therefore free to be in and out 24/7. Everyday new bedding and towels without asking for that.They helped us with local tours with preference prices. One of the trips was Colca canyon starting 3am. The guy made us coffee and breakfast at that time of the day. No words. The best service I ever received. Very big..Thank You!! NA
• Lukas (6/5): Pleasant - The hotel was overall okay, but it could be much better if the owners put in some effort and listened to feedback. Overall, I would not recommend it – there are much better hotels for the same price within walking distance. Our pre-booked room was not available when we arrived, so after some waiting and a little bit of chaos, we got another room (although it was much smaller). That one was not ready either, so they quickly changed the sheets without really doing a thorough cleaning. As a result, there was still dirt on the floor and surfaces, and also some stains in the bathroom. The room was not in the best condition: the door to the bathroom was broken, so it couldn't be closed properly. The main door to the room jammed. As mentioned in many previous reviews, the reception is often unstaffed for extended periods, which means that guests have to wait in front of the hotel ringing the bell for 20-30 minutes. This happened twice during our one-night stay - in the end, other guests could only enter because I opened the main door after being annoyed by the bell. Given that these issues were mentioned in many previous reviews, I find it hard to believe that the owners care at all. Therefore, I would recommend going for another hotel – there are far better choices for a comparable price within walking distance.

• Laura (10/5): Exceptional - The room was very comfortable and clean. It's nice that they have some storage space and even a little desk. Staff was friendly and professional. Location is good: all the nice restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel has tried to soundproof the room but during the night you still hear quite a bit of noise from the outside of the hotel and from the other guests (when they leave early for tours and such). Bring earplugs!

• Zarja (8/5): Pleasant to spend a night or two in Arequipa! - Our room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. We also had a private terrace which we did not expect! Shower was good, breakfast simple but tasty. The hostel is located on the edge of a rather busy area which makes it relatively quiet. Staff were nice, but hardly spoke any English. Breakfast could have been more abundant.

• Alex (9/5): Charming hotel, with spacious rooms and great location - This little hotel is delightful! There are only a handful of rooms, which makes the service feel very tailored and personal. Our room was spacious and the terrace was lovely - both for breakfast and for a drink in the evenings. The breakfast was prepared fresh (whenever we were ready) too. The bathroom was a little old and the noise from the town can be loud in the mornings.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed on two occasions before & after a trek. Would come again. Arequipa is a noisy 24/7 city. Bring earplugs.
