En si el hotel no es feo pero necesita mucho mantenimiento; las colchas estaban sucias, la cafetera asquerosa y el aire acondicionado estaba sucio con moho negro. El área de noche no es la mejor para caminar pero uber funciona super bien. Por último, se siente inseguro, mas por que llegan muchas señoritas en busca de clientes. La habitación que nos tocó estaba muy cerca del bar y no pude descansar hasta que apagaron la música.

Activities- tvs, bar, restaurant, pool table, great food including excellent free breakfast. Always something to do, and a party in the evenings. Fun place! Not much, everything is good to great.

• Ahmad (1/5): Don't stay here. - They had a Thanksgiving dinner. The breakfast was ok. The location is ok. Booking.com needs to remove this place from their site. This is not a 5 star hotel. This is a Sports Bar/Club. There is very, very loud noise most of the time. When you tried to close some doors to decrease the noise, the security and other employees would open them. I tried talking to the receptionist asking if they close the doors or reduce the music but they refused. Also, there are prostitutes that hang out at the hotel and most of guests are old guys.

• Ron (5/5): - The breakfast was good. The hotel workers were very nice and helpful. You can walk to restaurants nearby. The hotel is packed with escort girls 24/7. At night they play music until midnight and the noise continues at 2 AM. At 3 and 4 AM I also heard a couple of doors slammed. We stayed in the quiet section but it was still very noisy. The area is about 10 minutes walk from a better and safer part of town. The parking is in the street in front of the hotel. You don't want to park further. The night stay is too pricey for the above. I changed my hotel afterwards.

• Barry (6/5): Apart from this disgraceful episode, the stay was good with the excellent bar staff and comfortable room - The bar and restaurant staff and food were great I had a disgraceful experience, banging on my door at 11:50 at night very aggressively accusing me of not paying my bar bill, I said that I had paid a 150 dollar deposit when I checked in. They went away and came back at midnight calling me a liar and insisted I paid it by my credit card. When I went to reception in the morning the girl apologised and said she had not communicated with the bar that I had credit. I was very angry and upset, and did not sleep at all. She said she would recompense me,I looked at two “upgraded”room which were similar to mine, not worth changing, then she suggested a derisory 10% discount off of my first nights stay. When I left I said as a token I would look at them wavering one nights cost, he said his boss would get back to me, he hasn’t. This was a big shame because the rest of the stay was good.

In 18+ years of hotel operation there are minor signs of deferred maintenance that are irritating. • Denise (9/5): Exactly what we needed at an affordable price. - It was a short overnight stay before leaving for La Fortuna. Interbus picked us up right outside the door. Hotel staff so helpful with our very late arrival and early pickup. Driver from hotel picked us up from airport for $30. There was noise from the bar below our room but it wasn’t a problem for us.

• Dunford (7/5): An incredible about a fun with gorgeous women and Incredibly helpful staff. - The service received from all the staff was exceptional, from the chef cooking my own yellowfin tuna that we caught on a fishing trip to Natasha at the front desk helping me with my tickets and printing my tickets for me and logging in and checking it to the airlines for me and all the Excursion activities that she did she set everything up willingly and gracefully and was just such a huge help. Then the wait staff at the bartenders were exceptional and their service, each and every one of the staff was incredibly helpful behind the bar. Hazel at the bar was another standout service provider. Even the housekeeping was exceptional as I dropped my jacket in the ocean and we got back late from the fishing trip and they were closed but they even washed and dried my jacket for me because it had the ocean smell and salt on it and they were so helpful to get that done for me. Above and beyond any service from any hotel I've ever seen before. They were all above and beyond exceptional the number of Brave Americans. Just a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights, but you need to expect that as it is a big party right there.

The place was incredibly noisy because of loud music, parties, DJ. And it was frequented by prostitutes, who are legal here but annoying for guests not interested in their services.
