• Vittorio (1/5): - This place was honestly a disaster from start to finish. The room was full of mould — you could smell it as soon as you walked in, and it clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. Hygiene standards are basically non-existent. On top of that, there’s a full-on construction site right next door, so expect constant noise, dust, and zero chance of relaxing. Definitely not what you book a holiday stay for. The common areas were just as bad. Sun loungers were being used by random local people sleeping on them, and there was no staff managing or controlling access. The pool situation was also uncomfortable — local kids were using it without supervision, sometimes without proper swimwear, which made the whole environment feel poorly managed and not appropriate for guests. Overall, it felt neglected, chaotic, and far from what was advertised. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.

• Emma (9/5): - Ich war einen Monat in meinem Jungle Bungalow und es hat mir wirklich super gut gefallen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, obwohl momentan dort ein paar Bauarbeiten sind, die allerdings kaum gestört haben. Die Bungalows sind sehr geräumig und hell und das Bett ist auch super bequem. Würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

• Jim (1/5): I didn't stay. It was that bad. - I booked this accommodation in December 2024, for a stay in early October 2025. I amended the booking to stay for an additional night about one month out. The day before check in, when I was already in Lombok for the moto GP, the busiest weekend of the year, they contacted me to say they had quoted the wrong price - and that it would cost $200 AUD per night. I messaged to say I would sort the price out on arrival. When I got there, the road to the property was closed due to some surfacing works. So I had to park my scooter in a field and carry my bags about 500m to the property. The last part of the walk was like walking through Beirut. Absolute bomb site. Building sites all around. The property itself was terrible. Mouldy walls, dirty, with a rock hard bed and pretty much no other furniture. The bathroom was terrible. I immediately found alternative accommodation and left. All of it.

• Marcin (7/5): Ładne domki, ale w niebezpiecznej okolicy - Bardzo ładne, duże domki, w pokoju udostępniony jest duży baniak wody pitnej co jest dużym plusem. Basem był czysty i zadbany, pokoje posprzątane, bardzo miła obsługa. Dosyć wymagająca droga dojazdowa, ale to nie był aż tak duży problem. Największym problemem był pies sąsiada po drodze, który dwa razy nas gonił i prawie ugryzł, trzeba było szybko uciekać na skuterze w nocy. Drugi problem to wentylacja w domku, a raczej jej brak. Kiedy pokój stoi dłużej zamknięty to czuć grzybem. Jeżeli właściciele nie zadbają o zrobienie odpowiedniej wentylacji w łazience, to za 1 - 2 sezony te domki nie będą się nadawały do użytku.
• Maria (9/5): - Los bungalows eran preciosos, en sí el alojamiento está genial, tal y como en las fotos. La ubicación. Para llegar había un camino poco agradable para hacer en moto, digo moto porque andando no lo recomiendo. No había nada alrededor, pero el alojamiento en sí estaba genial.

Kuta est une ville en pleine expansion alors quelques constructions autours (mais ce sera le cas un peu partout dans Kuta) et le chemin pour arriver au logement un peu rocailleux

• Annalena (4/5): Leider nicht wie erwartet - Auf den Fotos sieht es ganz schön aus. Unterkunft hat generell Potenzial. Die Unterkunft hat wegen des MotoGP das dreifache gekostet. Was wir auch wegen des Events verstehen können aber nur weil ein großes Event in Lombok stattfindet muss man keinen unverhältnismäßigen Preis verlangen, welcher der Unterkunft überhaupt nicht gerecht wird. Zum einen ist die Anfahrt zur Unterkunft eine Katastrophe. Die Straße ist unbefestigt, nachts nicht beleuchtet und es laufen Hunde umher, die einen einschüchtern. Um die Unterkunft herum ist überall Baustelle. Ab Circa 7 Uhr morgens hört man dann auch den Lärm. Zum Zimmer: das Zimmer ist groß aber etwas lieblos eingerichtet. Man hat so viel Platz um es gemütlicher zu gestalten. Was uns aber am meisten gestört hat war der tagelang unangenehme Geruch aus dem Badezimmer. An zwei Tagen ging auch die Klospülung nicht. Die Unterkunft scheint neu zu sein aber dennoch gibt es im Badezimmer bereits Schimmel (das Badezimmer hat kein Fenster und Luftabzug).
• Diane (8/5): Bon rapport qualité prix - Très bon rapport qualité prix. Chambre spacieuse et bon espace de rangement. Piscine très agréable. Possibilité de louer de bons scooters sur place pour vraiment pas cher! Notre chambre n’était malheureusement pas propre… Nous sommes restés deux nuits et personnes n’a fait la chambre après la première nuit. L’homme qui nous a accueilli est resté 2 min après notre arrivée, puis nous ne l’avons plus vu pendant deux jours. Il n’y a pas de personnel sur place.

Das Personal war sehr nett, konnten für einen anständigen Preis einen Roller mieten. Der Wäscheservice war auch gut. Pluspunkt war die küche und der Kühlschrank. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen. Wir hatten einen großartigen aufenthalt in Kuta. Der Weg zum Bungalow ist sehr sehr holprig war für uns kein negatives Kriterium aber sollte man wissen. Die ersten Helme die uns geben wurden, waren eigentlich nur für die Optik. Richtig geschützt haben die nicht. Kein Verschluss...

• Danae (9/5): - Beautiful, spacious, and clean bungalows with perfect pool area to relax. Little bit away from the center but still close. Pool is regularly tested (ph etc) in order to ensure it's good for swimming. Offers also kitchenette where you can prepare quick meals. Great staff, always ready to help for anything we needed - the communication was perfect! Low water flow in the shower and not enough hot water for 2 persons We did not have cleaning service for 4 days - we did not ask for it but not sure which was the process as the staff did not mention something about cleaning. Road to reach bungalow is a bit challenging for beginners with scooters but not host's fault. Overall, we had a great experience ! With few additions, this place will be perfect !

Toutes mes demandes ont été prisent en charge rapidement : scooter prêts à mon arrivée, couette et coussin supplémentaires fournis de suite. La route rocailleuse pour accéder aux bubgalows. Pour les novices de scooter comme moi la route était difficile et sombre la nuit.

• Nicola (7/5): Un posto isolato r difficoltoso - Camera grande e pulita, utile il frigorifero e l' angolo cottura Posizione molto scomoda alla fine di una strada piena di rifiuti ed escrementi di animali vari, sterrata e accidentata che necessita di esperienza nella guida dello scooter senza il quale si resta isolati. Fastidiosa furbizia dello staff che tenta di spillare soldi ad ogni occasione e con mezzucci di bassa lega È un posto dove non torneremo.
• Pizakk (9/5): Superb - The place is new and modern. It is in a quite location but not too far from the beach and the centre. The room was very spacious and clean. The room had a kitchenette. We were left without a hand soap for a day since it finished so we had to use the dish soap in the room. Limited towels but I am sure that they would have provided if we ask.
• Francisco (10/5): Calm and beautiful bungalows - Calm, comfortable and clean. Felt luxurious with our private bungalow, the pool and the background of the mountains. Extremely good value for money. Dirt road leading up to property, but it’s ok to drive.

• Monika (8/5): Very good - The staff was really amazing - especially a young boy whose name I unfortunately don't remember. He was so kind and helpful. The owner communicated very quickly. We asked for more kitchenware and some stuff that we were missing and it was delivered pretty much immediately. We rented a scooter at very good price. The bungalow was clean and every time when we asked for cleaning it was done very well. You can book massages and some treatments in the bungalows which was a nice addition. Very minimalistic interior design that I liked. Once again, thank you to wonderful staff! Spotty WiFi. There is a kitchen and we prepared most of our meals but there is no comfortable place to sit and eat. The bungalows have porch like are but it doesn't work well for dining. During our stay there was construction and it was quite nosiy during the day (we understand though that probably it will mean improvements for the future clients). Hot water in the shower lasts for a few minutes, then it is a luke warm water. Despite those small issues we enjoyed the stay a lot!

• Pia (8/5): Nice and quiet - Bungalow is really modern and has a small kitchen with everything you need. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s a spacious terrace with a bench. Our bungalow was right in front of the place where staff was usually hanging out. Don’t leave anything on the terrace over night, monkeys took some things.

Very very helpful and accommodating staff, beautiful accommodation that’s a little bit off the beaten track. The only reason we didn’t stay long was because it was fully booked. Cannot recommend this place enough! The only thing I would say is it’s a little out of town so you need a scooter to get around but they organise that for you and bring it to your door so it’s great!

• Scott (10/5): Highly recommend a stay at Jungle Bungalows - My 2 week stay at Jungle Bungalows could not have been better. I received a warm welcome from the friendly host who met me to check me in. The day and evening security guys were super nice and friendly too. The location is just 5 mins on a scooter from Kuta town. The host will rent you a scooter, mine was fairly new and great value. The bungalow was sound proofed, I never heard my neighbours. Very secure. Clean. They had everything you would need including water and VERY fast WiFi. It offered the perfect place to work. I would highly recommend staying at Jungle Bungalows especially if you are looking for good quality accommodation on a budget. Nothing really. Outdoor furniture like a small table and chairs would be great - I am sure this will come in time. A mattress topper would also be a great addition.
• Maripily (1/5): The accommodation is good but you can not rely on the service - The room was comfortable and big enough The electric stove wasn’t working, they told us they were going to fix it but they never did in span of a week. The water in the shower was hot only for the first five minutes. They offer taxi service from the hostel to the airport, when we requested it, the taxi never showed up and we almost lost our flight.

• Japhy (10/5): My first choice in kuta I stayed for 3 weeks - EU managed w amazing helpful and kind staff location you need a scooter but it’s worth a few minutes to get into town very close. I would definitely stay here season after almost 3 weeks in a row here It’s needs a couch and sitting table for eating to feel suitable for a couple to stay more than a few night if you like to be at home, but at current is excellent value for money.

• Abby (4/5): The place has potential but still needs a lot of work. - The bungalow was very clean and the staff were excellent, helpful and responsive. The toilet would not flush properly. There was no free drinking water, no hot water in the shower, no tea and coffee in the kitchen and no way to boil water - despite the bungalow being quite a distance from restaurants and cafes. Luckily the staff was very helpful and brought me a kettle. For all of these reasons, I left after only one night and they agreed to refund me. Hopefully these issues have been addressed. The place is very new.

• Charlotte (8/5): Overall very good value for the price. - The bungalows are new and really nice. Comfortable bed, also great to have a kitchen. Overall nice bungalows. Staff were helpful and friendly. The owner was kind to drop me off and fix a car for me when needed. The location was a bit further from the centre than I expected. Also the road to get there freaked me out a bit at night due to total darkness after 18:00. Be sure to rent a scooter or get a driver for your own safety. Also they should get a bigger water tank for the property, on arrival there was no water and that was my biggest (small) issue😆 It was fixed after a few hours.

• Carolin (8/5): Very good - The bungalows are brand new and quite big and comfortable. They were quite cosy with small lights. They even have a small kitchen included. Shower had hot water. People working there, were really friendly- especially the security guard during the night (since I traveled alone I felt safer to that, since it’s out of town). To go to the bungalows you need to take a gravel road for the last 500m with barking dogs, especially during the night. I tried to extend for one more night via WhatsApp which they confirmed, only for me to find out, they forgot about it the evening before. And also I couldn’t lock my door from the outside for days, which didn’t get fixed, even though I asked a few times.
