• Rebecca (10/5): Lovely place to have a quiet stay - Lovely quite location with great views. The living area was quite spacious and the bedrooms were comfortable. Our host was friendly and had a lot of information about the local area, which we found helpful. We really enjoyed the Scottish treats in our welcome basket. Nothing.
• Anna (10/5): Great location, basic but clean and sufficient facilities - The lodge we stayed in was extremely clean. We stayed there in September and although the rooms were a little cold, we were able to warm them up using the electric heaters. Parking and check-in was extremely easy. This is a great location for exploring the local area. The facilities are 'basic' but we had everything we needed for the night that we stayed there. In Lodge 4, we had an amazing view out of the living area windows. Nothing.

• Emily (6/5): No vans allowed and we didn't realise! - Great location with lovely views We were greeted by a very rude owner unfortunately which really ruined our stay here. It says on the welcome message that you aren't allowed commercial vehicles. A commercial vehicle in my mind is a vehicle used for business purposes. I would not have classed our family van with seats in the back of it a commercial vehicle. So we turned up with our family van and parked it up, we then got a very angry owner because we weren't allowed our van on the premises because it is too loud and that we should have read our welcome message. When I said that I didn't realise it was a commercial vehicle, the owner turned to me and shouted 'its a van'. As a person who hates any sort of confrontation this really ruined my stay here as I never intended to upset anyone or break any rules. Maybe the owners need to make is a bit clearer by stating 'no vans' on the message just to prevent this from happening again in the future.
• Björn (10/5): - Fantastiskt mysig och genuin personal som engagerar sig i din vistelse. Kevin var en kul kille som visade oss in och vi hade bra samtal med! De hade likt jag läste i en annan recension en åsna som gick tillsammans i en hage med ponnys. Både åsnan och ponnysen var klappvänliga och nyfikna. Stugan var mysig, välutrustad och ren! Underbar utsikt över närliggande berg.

Super bien atendidos. Muy limpio y tiene prácticamente de todo. Camas muy cómodas. En resumen un 10 No hay secador.

• Richard (8/5): Fijne basic gunstig gelegen locatie. - Sfeervol chalet, gunstig gelegen in de Highlands. Zeer vriendelijke host die ons voorzag van extra informatie mbt uitstapjes en behulpzaam was toen we een mankement aan onze auto kregen. Basic eettafelstoelen, harde zit voor een lange spelletjesavond. Toilet spoelde niet altijd in 1x voldoende door. Matrassen van 1 persoons bedden zijn wat dun.

• Filipe (9/5): - O Kevin é uma pessoa fantástica, acolheu-nos muito bem. É uma casa de madeira, com as suas limitações, mas a localização é fantástica e os animais como os póneis, os veados, o burro, estão mesmo à porta. Recomendo! Como melhoria, deixo a sugestão de trocar os colchões das camas.

• Steven (10/5): A gem in the highlands - Everything was great, Lodge and location, hosts were very friendly.
• Cory (10/5): We had a pleasant, relaxing overnight stay on the farm. - We stayed for only a single night, but these lodgings were just what we needed after a long day on the road. We missed the main lodge on our way in, but Kevin responded to my message immediately and drove over to meet us at the chalet. He gave me a quick tour and explained everything we needed to know. He also called over to the local restaurant, talked to the proprietor, and had them get a table ready for us. BTW, the food at the restaurant was delicious, although a little pricey. You could think of it as Indian/Highland cuisine. There were sheep in the fields and Shetland ponies who came right up to the fence for a pat and a scratch. My daughter was in heaven! Everything was clean and comfortable.

• Batty (10/5): Didn't want to leave this little gem - Kevin the host was very friendly and knowledgeable, the ponies and Ernie were a huge hit with the kids, well equipped kitchen was appreciated, the location was ideal very beautiful & peaceful, basic but comfortable with extra touches for comfort, we didn't need much more. Nothing really just more personal preferences. Bedroom Carpets & bedding could do with an update, we travelled with our four children so we always like when towels are included but it's something we are used to and bring our own anyway, planning ahead for groceries is essential in these kind of areas but again we are used to this just something to keep in mind when travelling here.

• Sara (10/5): Chalet curatissimi in una zona tranquilla con vista stupenda - Gli chalet sono davvero splendidi! Si percepisce subito la cura e l’attenzione del proprietario: tutto era pulitissimo e ben tenuto. Gli spazi non sono molto ampi, quindi in sei bisogna un po’ organizzarsi, ma ne vale assolutamente la pena. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di conoscere il proprietario, una persona gentilissima. La zona è molto tranquilla e la vista è meravigliosa. All’arrivo abbiamo trovato un cesto di benvenuto con vari prodotti, un gesto davvero gradito. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

• Robert (10/5): Wonderful Retreat! - This property was absolutely wonderful! Kevin was the friendliest host - he showed us through the cabin, answered all our questions. The cabin was in an idyllic location with great views of the mountains. It was a respite from the hectic city schedule, and we would have loved to have stayed longer! The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were comfortable and the decor was perfect for a country cabin getaway. We only regret that we only scheduled one night here. Would have enjoyed several days relaxing here.
• Jgrcmtnz (10/5): Genial - Kevin fue muy amable y nos permitió entrar antes de hora y nos explicó cómo funcionaba todo, a pesar de que el bungalow no estaba preparado. Además nos dejó una cesta con café, un poco de leche y galletas para desayunar. La zona es muy bonita, y acabamos comprando zanahorias y manzanas para los ponis y el burro, que se acercaban a saludar. Además en el bungalow había sal, pimienta, estropajo, lavavajillas, bayeta para limpiar, ... Por decir algo, no tenía champú, gel ni secador, pero no fue un inconveniente, ya íbamos preparados.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We are very happy with our experience and would love to return in the future. Highly recommended!

And the view is magnificent. We really spent a great time there. The only thing which could be better is the water pressure in the shower. Maybe it’s already fixed.

• Kong Joo (9/5): Lovely lodge and all of us love the fresh and relax environment! - The lodge we stayed is right up on a hill slope and just right in front of the animals (horses and donkey). My kids love them and excited to feed them. Fresh air and relaxing. There is not bath gel or soap and shampoo during our stay. Other than that, all are good.

He then very kindly waited up until we'd arrived an hour and 40 minutes later than we had said we would, and showed us around the property. Very kind and friendly. Thanks for doing that for us. We had a great time.

Unsere Lodge in dieser traumhaften Lage war von allen Unterkünften auf unserer Rundreise die schönste. Wir werden nicht das letzte Mal dort gewesen sein. Vielen lieben Dank an Angie und Kevin. Es gab nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat.
