• Con (2/5): - Fridge & apartment were not clean, a fishy smell lingered within the fridge that would fill the room when opened!
• Nathan (7/5): We love Chania and Nea Chora. - Very spacious and nice lighting. Generally a well finished apartment. The stairway to the apartment is quite dirty. No air con in the third bedroom, which was also locked to start with. The apartment is attached to a building site and you can smell the bins from the balcony.
• Paula (4/5): Great location.shame about the lack of AC in all bedrooms - Good location for Nea chora restaurants and beach and easy walk into chania old town AC is only in 2 of the 3 bedrooms this was not made clear at any point. Given that we had booked a 3 bed apartment in July with ac we were relying on the fact that all 3 bedrooms would have ac so this was extremely disappointing. The third (middle) bedroom only has a ceiling fan which is integral to the light and was v temperamental so not always possible to have light off and fan off which is extremely frustrating There was a construction site next door (shared walls) which was never mentioned when booking or at any time by the host. This meant there was both a lot of dust and noise. On our final day heavy mechanical work also seemed to be taking place on the roof of our building (couldn’t tell whether was related to the building work next door or not) but was absolutely deafening and relentless. Also there was only 1 set of keys which was connected to the card for electricity. As a party of 3 adults this made it v difficult to be independent because for anyone to be able to go out they either had to take the key and leave everyone in without electricity or leave the key and wake up the others if coming in later.
• Monika (8/5): We have enjoyed our stay in this apartment and we recommend it - Spacious, clean apartment, comfortable beds, 2 balconies (although with limited sunlight), the host very kind and responsive, easy check-in (with clear and detailed instruction provided) Noisy neighbourhood (during night hours), low internet speed (would be difficult to work remotely)
