Guest Reviews
- Browne (9/5): - Everything was very nice ! Nothing to complain about.
- JIAN (10/5): - The property is clean and well maintained. Thanks Leahan for providing everything we need e.g. bath salt. The location is quiet and convenient. Good value for money.
- Ralph (8/5): - Location was easy walking distance to cafe's, clubs and the like Driveway may be a bit steep for elderly people, steps next to Driveway don't they would be any better for elderly aswell
- Vanessa (10/5): Would definitely stay again - Very clean and easy to access, also very comfortable
- Carol (10/5): Weekend getaway - Great location, walking distance to clubs, pubs and restaurants. Very modern. Well equipped with everything you need. Comfy bed. Great shower.
- Brendan (9/5): -
- Deirdre (9/5): quiet, tucked away, everything included but the food and drink. - the location is very nice. Tucked away behind the main house on a quiet street with plenty of parking. The host had included all the toiletries and cleaning products you could think of. Loved the tim tams and bubbly welcome gift.
- Jinjin (10/5): - Coastal Hideaway is well located and walkable distance to the beautiful lake and beaches around. The property is pretty new and very clean. All the beddings are very comfortable like home. The owner is very nice and friendly. It is definitely a 10 out of 10 stay and I would recommend it to anyone.
- Adrian (10/5): -
- Amber (8/5): Great beach getaway - Great location but still quiet, spacious and clean accommodation.
- derrian (9/5): Great but maybe check your cleaners - Very pleasant place with modern furniture and everything I need Finding dirty utilities top draw
Also finding an old Corona with lime inside under the lounge
- RALPH (9/5): Stay here if you want quality beds and cotton bedding, quiet position opposite reserve. - This accommodation is joined to the main dwelling, which is located at the end of a dead-end street opposite a park/reserve, generally very quiet and quite private. There was some noise from the adjoining driveway/battle axe drive and normal living noises from the host family at times. Grounds very well kept. Night time was very quiet and made for good sleep even with windows open. The view is of a suburban/colorbond fence, and has sizeable concrete open area available for sitting/entry. The property was very clean. Cold Tim Tams, a proper sized fridge, a quality bath and showerhead, sufficient toiletries and a QUIET air conditioner were very much appreciated as were the quality beds and bedding. Included was a nice welcome note and cold champagne. Clothes washer was used several times and included a good short cycle. We used the property as base for sporting workshops so needed to wash uniforms each day, dry and iron, etc. Upstairs tends to be warm, and cooler downstairs, as expected. Couch is for two, so others would need to sit on dining chairs, which did not affect our short stay. Street parking only. Strongly recommended. very minor thigs - washer a little noisy, a chair in the downstairs bedroom would have been good for my old bones, and bedheads on the single beds would always be appreciated (but seem to be very rare in much accommodation; why?)
Property seems to suggest it is (fully) accessible except for upstairs. Just make your own enquiries, as I recall there were 2 or so steps to get up onto the porch, and though the walk up the drive way is ramp-like, it might seem a little sleep to some including those with a roll-along suitcase or reduced mobility.
- Anne (10/5): This was a very good place to have as a base to explore the surrounding areas. - The place is modern with fully equipped kitchen. The treats left in the fridge were a great surprise. The location is very convenient and quiet.
- Takehiko (10/5): - We were happy that there was nexpected welcome drinks thank you.
- James (10/5): The Wingdang retreat - The location of the property was great, we were down from Newcastle visiting friends.
The property itself was awesome, clean, big and heaps of small inclusions. A lovely touch with a welcoming present too. The only thing but not a big deal was the street parking, it seemed safe enough area, and also the layout of the property doesn't allow any extra or off street parking.
- Chloe (10/5): -
- Luke (10/5): - Everything
- Leah Morelle (9/5): Luxury apartment in Windang - The host had thoughtful touches and was great with communication. The area is quite and the apartment is bigger than it looks in the pictures. We didn't spend much time there are we were busy with the family we visited but I would definitely stay here again.
- Stephanie (9/5): - The house was well fitted out, clean and comfy, it had everything we needed for our stay and it was close to the lake, beach and nearby towns.
- Michelle (9/5): Great stay. - Unit was well presented and very clean. Great contact with owner, easy access Not very old. Rooms were large and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Lovely to have Toiletries provided along with Tim Tam's and bottle of bubbles. Parking was on street but easy. Quiet location at end of street. Two story with stairs. Listing is accurate.
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Measday (10/5): Beautiful stay - The property is beautiful. Very comfortable and the little treats were appreciated. Perfectly situated at the end of a quiet street with parking out front.
Very clean with cupboards storing those little things you don’t think about packing for a trip.
Leahan was very easy to work with and answered my questions promptly.
Highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. A note with a list of things to be completed at the end of the stay would be appreciated.
- Jan (10/5): Really great, loved the accomodation and area. - Privacy, quiet, exceptionally clean and well appointed. There was nothing I didn’t like.
- Sarah (8/5): Cute homely apartment - The apartment was so cute and cosy, felt very homely. The area was quiet and I felt safe in an area I didn’t know. It was nice using linen and towels that weren’t “hotel” linens. It was lovely to walk in and have Tim tams and refreshments. I would definitely stay again if I’m visiting the area.
- Megan (8/5): Very comfortable stay ,would be better if more comfortable lounge - Area it was in Stairs , no aircon up stairs
- Allan (8/5): Very good - The location, the facilities, just everything Nothing

- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Ken (9/5): Comfortable villa within easy walking distance to all local amenities. - Facilities were in excellent order. Access was very easy. We thought the sofa was a little small for 4 adults. A heavier curtain fabric would alleviate the tv screen glare.
- Nicole (10/5): Very comfortable and clean accommodation in a great location. Loved it! - Great place, loved having 2 bathrooms and it was a convenient walk to the bus stop, cafe/takeaway and some nice walks. The place itself was very comfortable and nicely set out. - Maree (10/5): Perfect quiet place to stay with everything you need - This was the First time I had stayed at a B n B. It had everything and was so quiet. Beds were comfy and the rooms spacious. The heating was great and the place warmed up quickly. I was very happy and give it 10 out of 10😄 No complaints
- Gavin (10/5): Great accommodation, good value, quiet street and the extra little touches were perfect. - Nice clean comfortable stay, the owner was easy to deal with.
- Saimon (9/5): Convenient location - Location was good, easy to access many of tourist spot and city. Apartment was sunny, neat and clean. I was missed a side bed table with drawer. stairs carpet is a bit sharp for me and kids. Main door lock is bit difficult to open, might need to change.
- Sookaloo (8/5): Very good -
- Rutvik (10/5): Exceptional -
- Philip (8/5): Very good - Very good modern amenities. Very clean. Great value for money. TV reception often broke up for long periods - either a problem with the external antenna or electrical interference. Vanity tops were far too small for taking medications or doing makeup. The owners might consider these issues.
Stairs would be a challenge to people with weak knees or who use a walking stick. This cannot be changed.
- Kaye (10/5): Wonderful - This place was amazing .. it had every possible thing you would have in your own home .. all provided. The bottle of bubbles and Tim Tams were a lovely touch. Nothing
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emilia (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Overall property was great and suited our needs for the weekend - Has everything you need and was clean and tidy. Beds and bedding were comfortable. It’s at the back of another property so not that private when arriving or leaving.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Allan (9/5): Nice place - Comfortable Toilet in bottom bathroom
- Lei (8/5): Very good -
- Loveday (9/5): Could not complain everything was very good - It was a bit of a long climb up the stairs to the bedroom
- John (8/5): Location worked well for our stay. Thai food that we had from corner within walking distance aaa great. Enjoyed coffee s - Comfortable beds
Responsive host Needs additional comfortable seating than one couch when renting to more than 2 people .
- Francoise (7/5): Not bad - It had everything you need in the kitchen and also in the bathrooms. Nice touch with the host leaving a bottle of champagne and Tim tams for us to share. Location was ok too. Place is quite spacious. It would be nice to have had your own small yard. The place felt a bit hidden.
Could have been a bit cleaner. There was marks on walls that could have been cleaned and the fridge was quite dirty.
Also was strange there was just a small couch when you can have 5 people stay
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Moyano (10/5): BETTER THAN THE HOTELS - Great place to stay close to the beach also close to all the shops..
Preffer to stay here with the family then a hotel to be honest way more comfortable..
The owner when above and beyond much appreciated Everything was great I like the fact that it was self contained and had everything from the little things like plates and glad wrap bags etc..
All the little things make a big difference and I could tell that they had put great thought into it
- Marcus (10/5): Perfect little home, close to the club and shops. Very easy to get to and quiet - Great layout of the property No real outdoor area to enjoy
- Amy (10/5): Amasing - Clean, comfortable beds, amazing shower, stylish with modern facilities, would highly recommend and would gladly stay again.
- Aidan (9/5): Superb - This is not important in the whole scheme of things, but curtains that block out the light into the lounge would be an improvement, for those wanting to watch a sports match or TV show.
- Hilary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hayley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caleb (10/5): Perfect - Perfect location for my parents stay, close to everything. The lip between the upstairs bedroom floor and the bathroom floor, wasn’t highly noticeable and it cut a guests foot on the first night. Not a huge issue and it didn’t affect the stay at all
- Kit (8/5): Very good - very clean and spacious, easy check in and out the lighting in the living room is not enough
- Bobbie (10/5): Perfect place to wind down after a hard days work -
- Colette (9/5): Superb - Fabulous place, loved having the two bathrooms.
Great layout. The only thing I could suggest is a blind or curtains for the living room window. As it’s getting hotter the sun beams in there and makes it quite hot and very bright. Which would be lovely in winter but not in summer.
Maybe also a screen between the main house and the accomodation.
- Rattiya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalie (10/5): Cosy, clean and spacious - perfect for a weekend getaway - We had a wonderful time here! The villa was extremely clean, spacious and cosy as well as being quiet and conveniently located. Leahan was very friendly and communicative and checking in and out was a breeze. Perfect for a weekend getaway! We would love to stay here again when we are next in town :) Nothing

- Yuya (10/5): Perfect place for family. - It’s a quiet but convenient location. Everything we needed for the long weekend getaway. Nothing
- Maria (8/5): Very comfortable stay would recommend 😊 - It was very clean & comfortable. we couldn’t get the TV channels to work & our friends who had the upstairs bedroom & bathroom would have like a small bin in their bathroom.
- Kim (9/5): it was a lovely stay overall. host accommodated to our needs provided gas heater. Thank you very much for the stay. - lovely property in a convenient location no desk or vanity table with mirror in the bedroom. Nails along the edge of wardrobe
- Savsingh (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, modern, location, had everything that we needed
- Fleur (9/5): Lovely townhouse, kitchen well maintained - Location was excellent, close to beaches and all Illawarra attractions Bike hire and surfboard hire would be good add ons
- Abigail (10/5): Exceptional - So spacious and comfortable! Had everything we needed in the kitchen and the bedrooms were nice, love the decorations and filled with natural light.
- Maheswari (7/5): Property was clean and comfortable - Would have been nice to have blinds in the living room, morning sun was glaring through the sliding doors making it hard to sleep in and a bit warm in the afternoon since no aircon as well.
- Lydia (10/5): Perfect place in a nice quiet location. -
- Segia (9/5): Superb - It was cosy and warm to stay in. My whole family really enjoyed it, definitely will use it again if we go back to Wollongong. Can u have a dryer next time, that's all.
- Nathan (8/5): Great place to stay - Lovely open style house.
Plenty of room for myself and my group of friends. Comfortable beds and great hosts.
Wonderful place to stay especially if you like a sunrise as the sun beams right into the living area of a morning. Definitely recommend. No air-conditioning (although I didn't bother to double check before booking so my fault).
No hot water on our 2nd morning.
- Kris (7/5): Good - 2 bedrooms with own bathroom Would like a blind on the front glass to stop heat from the sun and reflection on TV.
There are sharp nails on the carpet stairs. This is not a complaint, just suggestions for improvement
- Gemma (10/5): perfect property for a night down the coast. - perfect property for a night down the coast. we stayed for a friends birthday and the place was clean and welcoming. also extremely quiet and peaceful
- Kelly (9/5): Superb - There were some lovely personal touches from the owners that made it feel like home.
The property is beautiful, new, clean and comfortable.
- Michelle (10/5): Restful place - We loved how clean, luxurious & roomy it was. The rooms were lovely to sleep in, we all had a great sleep. On arrival the kids & I were so touched how the hosts had left us a treat ( chocolate for them & bubbly for me ) with a lovely note. It was in a great location, only a short drive to Kiama. We definitely will stay again at the coastal hideaway, we honestly wished we stayed longer. The place was fantastic. No complaints from us.
- Rebecca (10/5): beautiful coastal hideway, would stay here again - it was beautiful and homely would stay here again nothing, everything was great
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (9/5): Beautiful, clean and welcoming accommodation in a wonderful location. - It was a beautiful, clean place with lovely furnishings. The beds were comfortable and the fans ensured a pleasant sleep. The bathrooms were clean and the large bath was lovely. The owners were very friendly. The large uncovered windows looked nice but made the living areas quite hot and uncomfortable, as there was no fan or aircon.
