Hannah (10/5): Beautiful boutique hotel on an amazing property - An amazing location outside of the hustle and bustle of the city, we loved the tranquil surroundings, the facilities of the hotel are amazing and the staff! Best food we have ever had here for dinner - try the vegetable kottu!
Lina (8/5): Beautiful location - Friendly staff, they took care of a taxi and diner. The locations is beautiful. Right in the forest and next to a lake. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to swim in the pool but it looked very clean. Breakfast was very nice, with fruits and bread and sausage and egg. The room itself was spacious with a lovely view. The walls were very thin. Bathrooms weren’t clean at all and ants were all over the floor. The place to sleep was clean but bathrooms could have been a lot cleaner.

Monika (6/5): Pleasant - Breakfast was excellent. The one person working in the hotel tried his best to accommodate us, from check in to breakfast to house keeping. One 1 person working in the whole resort! Carrying bags, checking in (even tho proper check in never happened, we were just given a semi clean empty room to stay the night), making breakfast in the morning. We had booked well in advance but they didn’t seem to be expecting any guests or be ready for it.

Karen (8/5): Rural, peaceful location with a great view. - The property was in a beautiful rural location which was ideal for our first night stay in Sri Lanka. The host was welcoming and at our request provided a cooked meal for us - absolutely huge portions for both dinner and breakfast. The grounds were beautifully kept and had a lovely view. The bed and bedding were clean and comfortable. Our room was big and had a lovely view but the cleanliness of the bathroom could have been improved on. The bathroom was pretty basic and would have benefitted from some attention to detail. There was no option to buy any drinks to have with our dinner (for instance wine or beer)but apparently the host had asked our driver if we wanted him to bring anything for us and the driver had declined on our behalf - so that was not his fault. Overall we felt this property still represented a great value for money stay.
Maxime (7/5): Nice hideout away from the busy city - Nice location with swimming pool. Amazing view from the hotel room. The bathrooms can use a deep clean. It was a nice idea to have a full glass hotel room, however with so much sun and also due to some privacy, you keep most of the time the windows closed.
John (10/5): Great place to get away for a few days and unwind. Highly recommended. - Beautiful, quiet location in the middle of a rubber plantation. Very peaceful and tranquil. The food was excellent and volumes. The rain shower in the bathroom was busted. But it had hot water, which was great!
Dulshan (10/5): Peaceful, romantic and a home away from home. - The location has an amazing view across the lake which boarders a massive rock formation and also you could see paddy fields on the other side of the building.
Malcolm (9/5): Wonderful location… floating on plantation of rubber trees - This is the best stay in my trip Bathroom floor could be little bit more cleaner. But it’s forgivable.
Kim (8/5): Great staff and great stay. :) - I liked the room very much. It has the view that I like. :) There are walking trails around the hotel. The manager, Mr. Shantha, would be able to guide you around. :) The owner, Mr. Ruwan, was most welcoming and put me at ease. :) The service was excellent. Mr. Amarasinghe was attentive to the details and comfort of the guest. :) The cook Mr. Jayavire was very nice and cooked as requested. :) I had a nice hike around the area. After the hike, I went for a relaxing dip and swim in the swimming pool which is clean. :) On the last day, during departure it started raining. Mr. Shantha was very kind and offered arrangement to the main road and also stopped the AC bus for my onward journey. This made a nice impact on my view of the hospitality. :)
