• Shan (7/5): Good host but a bit pricy. - The host is easy to talk to and quite responsive. The room is clean but the beds are upstairs so when you turn on the AC, you cannot really fell it in the living room as all the hot air goes up to the bedroom. The kettle is not good with white flakes in it, and no water in the fridge...I guess I just expect more for ~100Euro per night in such a tiny town (when meal is ~6-8euro per person). Unfortunately, dispite the hospitality, I won't stay again because I don't think it worth the price. Nothing wrong with the room. just won't spend close to 100euro in a tiny town in a winter season.

• Darren (10/5): Excellent, highest quality for a relaxing stay 10/10 - Very nicely decorated and the highest quality finishings, highly recommended !! We stayed there for one night before the ferry to Kefalonia and will stay again if we have another trip via this port.

• Jeremy (10/5): Excelent host, excellent apartment, everything you need - This place is a real find if you are staying in Astakos. There are two apartments but its the smaler of the two (still very spacious) that has windows and a balcony overlooking the sea. Vassiliki was a fantastic host and very communicative prior to our stay. The aprtment had everything you need for a comfortable stay and the quality of the fixtures and fitting is top notch. I cant rate this place high enough and we will definitekly stay at Nostalgia suites should we ever visit Astakos again.

• Catherine (10/5): Nostalgia greatly enhanced a layover before a ferry. Wish I could have stayed longer. - Perfect location for those wanting the beach or access to the port. The town is small, but this property is among a number of traditional stone houses now renovated, so has a sense of history. Very well appointed, with a high standard of comfort. Despite being called away unexpectedly, the host took care to ensure that I had all that I needed. This is a traditional house. There is a flight of steps up from the front door to the rooms and the bedroom is up more stairs. If you have a big suitcase, be prepared - this is how things are. But I managed easily enough (and housekeeping was super-helpful as I left).

I’d say it’s Luxurious and the bed was so comfortable. Felt very relaxed as it’s a huge apartment with lots of space. Great Air conditioning and a small lockable safe for your valuables. The attention to detail was incredible, nice blanket, water and even going over and above providing coffee biscuits, & juice in fridge. I felt very lucky to have stumbled on your property. Couldn’t ask for a more perfect stay. Had a short stay wish it was longer. Very close to the KTEL and Ferry Dock. Hope to stay longer next time. That I didn’t stay longer. Quick trip !
• Jana (10/5): I would happily stay again - Extremely well appointed and comfortable , the host did everything possible to make our stay perfect. The apartment is close to the restaurants and sea promenade. Not really suitable for disabled people as there are many steep steps without handrails

• Graham (6/5): Lovely renovation right in the centre of town. - Host was great, especially as the booking was made at late notice. General living accommodation was fine. Access to the sleeping loft is via a cast iron spiral staircase which was difficult to negotiate wearing anything other than outside footwear as the treads were slippy full of holes making the stairway difficult to use. The balcony overlooking the waterfront was dirty, covered in bird faeces making it unusable. Noise from the bars below showing the basketball was intrusive and seriously annoying.

• Darren (10/5): The best :) - Gorgeous bathroom and living area, next to lots of amenities and just along from Martha's bar which was also a lovely place to visit! Nothing. Out of all the stays I have had over the years this has been one of my favourites, I wish I had a reason to stay longer!
