• Irena (9/5): Příjemný apartmán na klidném místě. Vyhovovalo i vyšší patro s hezkým výhledem na Meteoru - velmi příjemný apartmán s pěkným vybavením. Jen pokoje jsou trochu menší oprotí obývacímu pokoji, který je obrovský. Pěkný výhled na klášte v Meteoře a večer osvícené skály. Byly jsme jen tři noci, takže vše bylo OK. Za tu dobu jsem nezjistila, co by nevyhovovalo. Byli jsme spokojeni.

Квартира идеально чистая, уютная, есть всё необходимое для комфортного проживания. Расположение отличное — рядом кафе, магазины и удобный доступ к Метеорам. Отличный вариант для отдыха в Каламбаке — однозначно рекомендую! Нет такого

We loved sitting on the balcony in the evening following our Monastery visits and taking in the breathtaking surroundings. The apartment is as pictured with great little additions by the hosts. Comfortable beds. It was perfect.

• Ellen (10/5): Fabulous apartment with fabulous view! - This was a fabulous apartment, exceptionally spacious and well appointed. Lovely wrap around balcony with comfortable furniture. And the view? Best anywhere!! Our host helpfully met our intercity bus and brought us to the apartment. She also checked in by WhatsApp to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend! Maybe I missed it, but it could be clearer on the apartment description that it is 1.5 baths, not 2 bathrooms with showers.

Great location and even included a parking garage, which was extremely helpful in this parking-competitive town. Would ideally include a washer and dryer, because balcony is huge and windy (and has nice views.)

• Terrence (10/5): A focus on quality, style, decor and location are the main feature of this home. - Barbarossa House met all our expectations and then some. Our stay began with a long exhausting drive from Athens. The toll highway was beautiful with wild flowers of yellow, reds and blue paving the way. When we arrived and were greeted by our host, Dimitri, we were literally awestruck at the beautiful apartment and the view. The pictures on Bookings, while accurately depicting the home, did not do it justice. Dimitri, provided food for breakfast, suggested some restaurants within walking distance, and connected us with a tour guide to help us as we considered visiting the monasteries. If you are a foodie and like cooking meals using local flavours. This is the place for you. Easy access to Friday Farmer's market for fresh local produce, access to meat shops, and local grocery stores, or 5min walk to the city centre, not to mention a 9 min. drive to the monasteries. (If you are an early riser, a drive to the monastary at 7am is highly recommended, while not open, you feel you have the place to yourself.) It was by far the best stay in our visit to Greece. I highly recommend this home and I am sure anyone who stays here will feel at home as we did. While we figured out how to use the brand new, modern appliances, I would have liked to be shown how to use them when we were welcomed into the home.
