- Georgia (10/5): Highly recommended stay, a beautiful experience! - Amazing property in the outskirts of San Gimignano. Loved everything about it. Comfortable beds, and overall spaces. I thought it was a bit pricey for mid October, but no real complaints if you think of the area in general and the similar prices for much worse hotels around. The outdoors kind of neglected, but maybe because it’s mid October..
- Michał (7/5): Inadequate value for money - The suite is very well located, within a 10 minute walk of San Gimignano. The suite was freshly renovated and decorated with taste. It is a heavy misunderstanding not to be able to contact anyone from the staff outside of the designated reception hours (9am - 7pm). The phone is not answered then, nor is anyone on site. In an emergency situation, you are on your own and there is no one to inform about an emergency or malfunction. In our case, this ended with a night in the car because, having lost our room card (we were only given one), we were unable to contact anyone to give us a spare card. The suite is badly marked on the booking and google maps, so we wandered around for about an hour before we were able to get to it. When we tried to call and ask for directions (during reception hours) no one answered the phone. The suite was freshly renovated, however, the safe had only been put into it but not fixed and set up and therefore could not be used. The suite has a kitchen which is a plus, however, no equipment was provided to wash up the dishes after cooking, the staff when cleaning the room did not do this either. In addition, the building's decorative lighting shone directly into the suite window, making it quite bright inside at night. In conclusion, the price (EUR 300 per night) is far from adequate for the quality of service.
