- clarky (8/5): - Great price, in a lovely location and very clean.
- Monty 912 (5/5): Not bad for one night due to location, but not a particularly well kept place. - location hair in bed sheets. not clean. bathroom cramped and dated. Hallway to top floor was filthy and unfinished. Could have benefitted from a sitting area in kitchen rather than huge table.
- Giulia (8/5): Molto positivo, dalle recensioni ci eravamo fatte un’idea negativa invece é andato tutto molto bene. L’unica cosa abbiam - Wifi, zona tranquilla, pulizia Host
- Ian (9/5): -
- Meri (1/5): Nefast!!! No hi aneu!!!
- Loveday (4/5): - Error on the boiler so not hot water or heating
- siti nurbaya (3/5): - The location is good Its on the top floor with no elevator. The heater is not working properly and did not cover the whole apartment
- Young (4/5): Better places to stay - Location was great 6 flights of stairs to get to the room, rubbish and bad dog smells in the corridor. The apartment had been cleaned but not well with long black hairs everywhere. the kitchen ceiling had water damage as did one of the bedrooms, when it rained water came in even though we stayed for three weeks and notified them no one came to look and very little care was given.
The bed I stayed on was held up with a stack of bricks underneath. The kitchen was the only place to sit but wasn't comfortable due to the leaking water twisting all the floor boards so nothing sat right.
The place was fine but better and cheaper places to stay
- Luanne (1/5): Filthy and unsafe - Good evening, it is with great sadness that I find myself contacting you about our difficult stay at 16 Queensborough Terrace. The property was very dirty when we arrived prior to the cleaners arrival. We left at 3:30 and they had still not arrived. The property was eventually serviced but remained below acceptable, with hairs everywhere and very dusty. Access to the property was extremely dangerous with carpet hanging off the staircase, non slip edgings to the stairs missing and trailing wires all the way up. We struggled to leave today as the stairs were blocked by a decorator. I have photographs of all the defects and filthy areas to note.
Please let me know if you would like to discuss a refund prior to my leaving a review.
Kind regards.

- Normunds (9/5): -
- Van de Steen (7/5): -
- Darren Bishop (7/5): - Location great Top floor to many stairs and unfortunately no TV so basically any info was using your mobile on your own data because no WiFi. In this modern day and age poor.
- Thomas (6/5): -
- BARBARA (1/5): It was extreeeemely disappointing.....Never again!! - We didn't like:-
that there were 76 steps to get to the apartment
that the clothes dryer was full of wet towels etc
that the wardrobe in bed 1 was locked and unable to hang clothes
that the smoke alarm in bed 1 was hanging from the ceiling
that several blinds in the apartment were broken or did not roll up
that there was half an OXO cube (opened) in with sugar sachets in the kitchen
that there was an empty packet from choc biscuits and half a packet of pasta in the kitchen cupboard
that there was a can of beer in the fridge
that there was no milk
that there were dressmaker pins in bedroom drawer
that the floor was dirty and sugar sachets on the floor in one of the bedrooms
that there were electrical cords running across floors not just in apartment but in all shared areas
that message was sent to property at 1pm on Wednesday 8th October. Reply received 8.25pm Thursday 9th Oct so nothing was rectified

- Estefania (5/5): Aceptable pero No repetiría - La ubicación Que hay que subir muchas escaleras, la casa está torcida, olía mal, y la atención fue muy limitada.
- Kar Peck (5/5): -
- Anita (8/5): Fantastic location but be aware there is no lift - The location is fabulous! So close to Kensington Gardens & Hyde Park. The 80 steps and apartment had no lift.
Apartment was a bit tired. Paint everywhere & only half finished inside.
- Julie (7/5): - That it accomadated 6 of us comfortably The bathroom , very tight squeeze
Shower extremely hot didn’t realise how hot water was and trying to get out of bath slipped and banged my leg on the bath , Also that the shower cannot be adjusted
- Jackie (6/5): Flat has good points but also several negatives - Good location . Bedding clean well equipped kitchen if you need to use it. Not informed before arrival that flat was on top floor 73 steps and super narrow staircase on approach to flat . Dangerous cables trailing down and across stairs some staircase carpet edges loose or missing. Washer and tumble drier in use when we got to flat making the heat unbearable in kitchen only place to sit and where still in washer and drier when we left following day.
- Samara (5/5): Was ok, not clean and felt unprepared, communication wasn’t great. - Property was on the top level …… lots of stairs if you have cases.
They were doing renovations when we arrived so really messy and dusty / strong paint smell.
Washing was all over the table and in the machine when we arrived. Location
- Charlotte (3/5): - The beds are comfortable and the apartment is a good size. Good location for Hyde Park BST. We requested a 3-4pm check in, which was accommodated but the flat wasn't ready when arrived. The cleaner arrived at the same time as us. The fire alarm was hanging off the ceiling, when it rained the ceiling leaked into the kitchen, the beds didn't have duvets, only duvet covers and there wasn't enough duvets in the cupboard for everyone. The hallway was being decorated so there were trailing wires all over the stairs and the walls were wet with paint. The bedding needs replacing, with bobbly sheets and some questionable stains. It's very tired, the floors are uneven, and it's up on the top floor, up many flights of narrow stairs.
- Ellie (3/5): Disgusting - Good space plenty of bed rooms It was very dirty, lots of things hanging of the walls. When we slept we think there might have been mice a weird nose was happening in the master bedroom like something was running about. Beds were uncomfortable (no throw or duvet just a duvet cover which is old)
We think Blood on the bottom sheet of the master room. On our way back from the concert we got to the house and there was paint on the wall that got in our clothes and we can’t get off now ! No wet paint sign about !!!!! Also really struggled to get in contact with the owner. Sheets from the last guest were in the washing machine when we got there and continued to stay of for ages. We put them in the tumble dryer so they didn’t stay damp the tumble dryer was the biggest fire hazard lint drawer hadn’t been empty in weeks clearly ! There was splashes of juice everywhere it all just felt really dirty ! Not worth the money in the slightest. Key safe outside also isn’t very clear there loads of key safe boxes and it’s the apartment 10 we were in but the box that they keys were in was number 1.
- Nicola (3/5): Disappointing - Comfy beds. Nice area. Quiet. The apartment was at the top of SIX steep flights of stairs. This was not stated in the advert. I have a knee problem, so this wasn't ideal at all.
Getting into the flat itself was a nightmare! The lock box containing the second key was hidden away on top of a beam across from the front door. I only saw it because I happened to look up. I'm tall, and even I had to balance on tip toes on a steep staircase to reach the lock box! The stairway had no light, so I had to use the torch on my phone to be able to see it. (There was no indication given of where the second lock box would be located.)
The flat itself was very small and cramped. There was no sitting area at all; only 3 bedrooms and a small kitchen. It was also fairly tired with scuffed doors etc. The bathroom was very cramped, and the shower head was erratic and soaked my clothes on the two occasions I used it: (They were on the floor next to the bath.)
The flat was not as clean as I would have expected. There was a large amount of urine on the toilet seat when I arrived, which I had to clean off before I could use the toilet! There was also a long, black hair in the bed I slept in.
The smoke alarm in the bedroom I slept in was hanging off the wall, suspended by a long electrical cable. I don't need to explain the safety implications of this! (See photo.)
There was a strange beeping noise when I arrived, which, upon further investigation, turned out to be the tumble dryer. It had been left on! The washing machine was also full, with what looked like a duvet!
The windows in the room I slept in didn't fit properly, which, as it was warm, wasn't much of a problem. However, in winter, it would have probably made the room very cold.
I was also disappointed that I was not even left a pint of milk to use as a goodwill gesture, let alone tea bags or things like sugar.
- Awang (5/5): Not too good - Easier instruction to get the key
- Asma (6/5): Pleasant - Location quite close to the underground station We arrived in the evening and the apartment was not cleaned when we arrived. Had to insist the owner to send a cleaner to clean toilet, throw away trash & change linens. High floor and no lift with narrow staircase to carry your luggage to the apartment.
- Chaudhary (5/5): It was fine. - The location of the property is good. Close to shops, bus stops, and tube stations The maintenance of the building. The property (as a flat) is nice and comfortable but the building was disappointing. However, there was some damp in the flat at places.
The flat is on the 4th floor, no lift, narrow stairs with difficulty in carrying medium to large bags. The moment you enter the building, it smells horrible- mouldy and like a public urinal with dark and gloomy corridors. It wasn't well maintained and someone entering the building at night didn't feel safe enough to go to the top floor (which felt like terrace/attic).
To summarise: it felt shady to enter the building with bad smell around, like an abandoned building with a nice flat but at then end. It puts you to a shock that you'll eventually love getting in the cosy apartment at the top. I should have clicked some pictures to help other guest to see what I meant. Sorry, but a genuine review.
- Kerry (3/5): Poor -
- Flora (9/5): Wonderful stay in clean cosy flat, will definitely book again! - Everything about our stay went smoothly. The host provided clear online instructions, making it easy to access the flat. Inside, it was spotlessly clean and felt very cozy—just like home. While the common areas of the building had a noticeable smell, it didn’t affect the flat at all. We were really pleased with how clean and comfortable everything was, and the location was fantastic. I’ll definitely book this flat again on my next trip! While the flat itself was clean and comfortable, the smell in the common areas of the building was very unpleasant. Thankfully, the odor didn’t carry into the flat, but it was off-putting when entering or leaving.
- Stacey (7/5): Good -
- Jane (5/5): Passable -
- Anders (8/5): Well located. Great beds. - Clean apartment with really comfortable beds. 3 bedrooms. The kitchen is the only common space but table for six and all equipped for vacation rental. Two stations nearby. Entrance and stairs in disrepair. The water pressure lacking so showering a challenge
- Kinga (10/5): Exceptional - Flat was very clean, beds were comftable, kitchen had all necessary things. The only downside was narrow staircase and it was 4th floor, keep this in mind if you have big luggage 😉 Other than that this place is great, I can highly recommend
- Lolita (5/5): Our stay in London was good but our stay at the property was a nightmare! Sorry to say but we will not recommend this to - The inside of the property was nice. It’s complete with all equipment etc. and the location wasn’t so bad. We stayed on the top floor and there was no lift so you can just imagine our difficulty to go to the top floor in those narrow staircase carrying our heavy luggages!!! We were not expecting that. The instructions about the keys were not very clear as well. We had to ask the people from Unit 9 to help us!
- Tracey (6/5): Ok, but won't be staying again - Location was great. Comfy beds, kitchen facilities with tea and coffee provided. Rooms good size. Had WiFi. 6 flights of stairs, Entrance hall very smelly and unwelcoming, shower head fixing broken so doesn't angle for shower & causes flooding, mouldy silicon around bath. Smoke alarm bleeps, waking in night. This happened both nights even though battery changed after the first night. No television. No left luggage facility.
- Rechelle (8/5): The apartment is perfect for a London stay provided you can carry your bags up 6 flights of stairs. The property was cle - Location is amazing and so close to restaurants and a supermarket. Also very close to public transport. No lift available, people with mobility issues would really struggle with the stairs
- Sophie (9/5): Superb -
- Vicky (2/5): Very poor - Location Dirty, smelly, top floor was not told this. 40 odd stairs to get to the property - stairs are also dangerous and steep
- Jason (4/5): Hugely disappointing - easy to get keys, communication good appartment was not well cleaned at all. Found hair all over the bathroom and other rooms. The shower gel was pretty much empty, the handwash for the sinks was watered down. In the main bedroom the carpet had a really bad smell near the base of the bed. It was also very hot apartment and no fans or anything provided. The entrance hall and stairs were also very poorly maintained, giving a very bad first impression to guests. Overall, really disappointed for the money we paid. Shower was also very basic and out-dated.
- Connor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tahmeed (8/5): Very good -
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (10/5): Fantastic location - Very clean and great location. Beds comfortable and in general all around fantastic! The bathroom needs modernisation probably best plan is just put in shower and remove bath
- Gail (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darren (8/5): Very good -
- Leah (8/5): Very good - Comfy beds, spacious, clean Bath mat very slippy, on top floor so long way to carry cases!!
- Mary (9/5): Great flat but may not work for everyone. - We were a group of 2 couples, staying for just 1 night. Arrived into King’s Cross before check in however was allowed to drop off luggage in the flat early. We had lots of luggage so took Uber and they found the flat very easily. Outside Lock box was easily found as well. The flat was spotless. Smelt fresh. Clean linens. Very comfortable beds. Small kitchen but it worked for us. Appears to have been recently updated. However, there wasn’t a living/sitting room, only dining table in the kitchen. I believe it has been turned into a third bedroom. Since we were only there 1 night so not a big deal for us. LOTS of restaurants 1-2 blocks away. Very walkable to Paddington Station. The first two floors of the building was a bit odorous. Did subside as we went up. LOTS of stairs; 4 flights with the top 2 being narrow and no proper landing at flat door making lockbox to flat difficult to reach.
- Daniela (10/5): Exceptional - It was the same as the pictures! The location was amazing. Everything was clean and so comfortable
- Jude (8/5): Great for our girls trip - Clean. Beds comfortable. Toiletries in bathroom. There was water and milk in the fridge and tea and coffee available The public areas leading to the apartment were in need of some upkeep.
No lift and apartment on top floor.
No living/ seating area. Only seating at dining table.
- Megha (10/5): Exceptional - We all enjoyed our stay, appreciated the water and milk left in the fridge for us to use, beds were comfortable, great location
- Ying (8/5): Very good -
- Rachel (8/5): Very good -
- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Abdulrahman (9/5): Superb -
