Guest Reviews
- Anna (1/5): Disgusting, falsely advertised, scammers - Nothing to like about this property AVOID AVOID AVOIDDDD!!!!
Everything!
The key wasn’t where it was supposed to be, the windows are hanging off the building, damp everywhere, dirty bedding, questionable stains on furniture, broken furniture.
Wasn’t safe due to the lack of secure windows we had to book onto a hotel nearby to ensure our safety. Trying to get a refund but the hosts are not responding and booking.com are not offering much help either AVOID AVOID AVOID
- david (1/5): Left early - Nothing Mattress had no mattress protector and was covered in stains tried to contact owner by phone and email no reply and don’t answer phone , socket comes out of wall dangerous
- Ang (7/5): Good -
- Jim (5/5): Was ok for what we required - Location was ideal for the reason we were there Car parking was an issue especially as we arrived back most night late so had to park car a fair walk away as no spaces available
- Frank (8/5): Very good - hard to find car parking on road after 5pm
- Sinead (8/5): Very good -
- Charlotte (1/5): Horrific don't deal with this scam business - Nothing, horrendous, avoid Arrived to a dirty house, hasn't been hovered, crumbs and dirt all over the floor, bedding had not been cleaned, hairs on the pillows, kitchen window downstairs wouldn't close, this is a large human size window and is totally unacceptable due to safety, the parking is crazy, steep steps up to the property and no lights at night, cigarette buts and beer cans thrown all over the back yard, I could go on and on. Don't pay this company, I tried to contact them several times and the day before we were due to leave the boiler stopped working, I contacted them and they sent me a message back saying the meter had run out!! A pay as you go meter as a holiday let!! They said someone would come and top it up no one ever came, we had no choice but to check out the next day we had been unable to shower, no hot water, and no heating the evening before. They completely ignored my multiple requests for help, avoid at all costs don't waste your money. I will requesting a full refund for this stay as we spent the entire time either cleaning or having to try and visit family to use facilities. Totally ruined our stay which was to be near family for a few days.
In addition, there's no hover, brush nothing at the property, there are no mirrors in any bedrooms simply just beds which aren't that comfortable and dirty bedding.

- Fiona (3/5): the owner of the property needs to repair the homes, damp and broken bannister spindle at the top of the status as it po - It was clean There was a broken unsafe spindle at the top of the stairs. Two large damp patches and a hole in the wall in the living room. The access to the property is difficult with narrow steps. anyone with mobility issues would not be able to gain access to the property

- Leighton (10/5): Lovely place for a stay away from home - Nice house in a quiet location, very clean with good facilities and very comfortable bed. Parking can be a bit tricky if your not back by 5.30pm but did find places to park.

- Angelina (8/5): Good place to stay, despite a few small issues. Would stay again, hoping front door will be fixed. - The house is very well presented, clearly renovated recently, and very nice. It is located on a row of terraced houses, so we worried about parking, but on both nights there was a space available outside of the house. The house is only about a mile away from Tesco, so good location. Clear instructions were provided by the host. There were some issues: 1. Front door is very stiff, so it is not easy to open it once the key has turned into the lock. 2. Shower door comes off the rails, so we had to fix it ourselves. 3. The tap of the bathroom sink is wonky, so care must be taken not to break it further. 4. There was no toilet paper either, so good job we had some pocket tissues to keep us going until we could buy some.
