• Christiana (4/5): - Das Zimmer war schön. Die Umgebung toll Leider staubig Hochzeit am gleichen Tag wie Seminar. Dies wurde nicht mitgeteilt und abends war es sehr laut im Zimmer Die Bedienung im Restaurant war im Schneckentempo, obwohl kaum Gäste waren. Dafür müsste übermäßig viel Zeit eingeplant werden - schwierig in einer vorgegebenen Mittagspause. Das Frühstücksbuffet an Nahrungsmitteln billig gehalten. Für den Zimmerpreis wirklich ein enttäuschendes Erlebnis

• F (10/5): Wunderbar sauberes und modern renoviertes Haus - Das Zimmer war wunderbar sauber, modern und offensichtlich frisch renoviert – man merkt sofort, dass hier mit Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet wurde. Die gesamte Anlage hat eine ruhige, strukturierte Atmosphäre, die an ein Haus mit vielen Veranstaltungen erinnert, dabei aber sehr gepflegt und angenehm wirkt. Etwas schade fand ich, dass das Personal nicht besonders herzlich oder zugänglich war – da wäre ein wenig mehr Freundlichkeit wünschenswert gewesen. Insgesamt aber ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt – ich gebe trotzdem volle 10 Punkte.

• Emily (5/5): Fine for a short stay - Friendly staff Very clean Good variety at the inclusive breakfast, and lunches and dinner at the restaurant were reasonably priced and tasty. Our bedroom (Room 107) had a transparent glass wall (with no frosting) and transparent curtain between the bed and the bathroom / toilet, so there was no privacy. The curtains are very thin and there are no blinds, so there was full daylight in the room by 6am. The heating was still on in late May and the air conditioning did not work so the rooms were very hot unless you opened the windows which then banged in the wind as there was nothing to hook them on to. The cleaning staff also threw away an item of clothing which was wrapped in tissue paper and on a shelf in our room. When we asked the front desk about this, they denied it, but my husband insisted on checking the hotel's outdoor bins and found the item but it was unfortunately damaged and not wearable.
• Philippa (7/5): Good - The room was smaller than expected, but immaculate. The hotel staff were helpful and accommodating. We stayed for a wedding nearby, so did not really choose the hotel for any other reason. The room would benefit from blackout curtains, but that is just a personal choice. The room would also benefit from a security safe, and maybe tea and coffee making facilities and an iron.

• Ulrike (9/5): Quiet and convenient. - Nice combination of traditional architecture and modern facilities. Located near the popular places in the Wachau. Great breakfast.
• Michelle (6/5): Beautiful outside, overdesigned inside - Beautiful location and the hotel from the outside was beautifully renovated. The staff was very nice and we had a secure location to store our bikes. The rooms were odd, very odd. Our room had the sink outside the bathroom in the bedroom. Yuck, I do NOT want to watch someone brush their teeth. Our room was above the terrace where people were smoking and drinking until late. No airconditioning and windows had screens, but you couldn't have the windows open, curtains drawn and screens in place at the same time. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was like eating in an expensive cafeteria with full-on ceiling lights and a heavy metal soundtrack. We did ask to have the music changed (which they did)

There is something odd in that old place. - Surroundings are nice and quiet, break is good, staff is polite It was too lonely! Being there on New Year's eve was definitely not the right time to be there as guests. We should've left just after our pet passed away.
