Guest Reviews
- Kate (1/5): Didn't stay - Host didn't follow through with extra requirements for accessible needs
Not clean toaster not cleaned out
Host accessed property whilst out and was rude .
Along with being able to unlock property from their connecting property
Hasn't refunded or communicated with booking.com re the above or reimbursed . Host making you feel uncomfortable
- Susan (10/5): Restful stay in Cornish countryside - Peaceful, uncluttered and clean, overlooking fields. Friendly & helpful hosts, always quick to respond & easy communication.
- Kerry (8/5): - Quiet location
- Thomas (10/5): Great place, great price and comfy good night sleep - The property is lovely, clean and the beds are extremely comfy There was not anything that I did not like about the property
- Sarah (9/5): A perfect little getaway that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for peace and comfort. - We had a wonderful stay at Seahorse Cottage. The location was peaceful and quiet, perfect for exploring The Lizard. The cottage was beautifully presented and had everything we needed to feel at home and unwind. The hosts were welcoming and the complimentary bottle of wine on arrival was such a thoughtful touch. We left feeling refreshed and would happily return!

- Thomas (10/5): Great value and peaceful - Perfect peaceful place to relax on the Lizard Peninsula, away from the mad crowds at the hot spots. Cosy log burners.
- Sally (9/5): Very comfortable, good value for money. - Lovely cottage, spacious and tastefully decorated. Ideal location in short distance of many of Cornwall’s best beaches. We felt very safe. The beds were really comfy and the shower was perfect! Will definitely stay here again. Nothing to dislike.
- daly (9/5): Very charming - Left in a coded key box
- Heather (8/5): Peaceful retreat - Lovely location close to some very nice places and quiet.
Open plan, good smart TV. Internet seemed to work OK. Hosts helpful but left us to it. Shower temperature not variable so difficult with a small child. No wooden spoons, only plastic servers and limited oven dishes for cooking, only a very big one. Strange that the people / host next door can just open a door straight into the cottage near washing machine so not feeling overly secure.

- Maureen (10/5): Really comfortable place to stay with our granddaughter. - A beautiful cottage, really well appointed and with two lovely sized-bedrooms and a large bathroom. We loved the view at the back overlooking countryside and horses, and appreciated the garden chairs. Modern, clean and spacious. Nothing really. It might have been nice to have a table outside.
- Peter (9/5): Superb - A lovely property, warm and cosy
- Kasun (6/5): Pleasant -
- Chris (7/5): Good -
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -

- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good - The cream tea was a nice touch.
- Cheryl (10/5): Excellent property, great contact with host and fab location for our need. -
- Judy (8/5): A lovely place to stay. Peaceful, comfortable, clean and well equipped. - Comfortable, well equipped, clean and tastefully furnished. Lovely, peaceful location, easy to find. WiFi was poor but possibly due to location.
- Kevin (7/5): lovely but a few extra things would be helpful, as above - self catering Lovely apartment, clean and comfortable.
Would have benefitted from outdoor lights back and front, especially to see dogs in garden in the pitch black.
Secure garden so the dogs don't run of inquisitively and visit farm animals etc
Step for small dogs and those with mobility issues to access back garden from patio door.
hazard strip/markings on step between bedroom and living room as health and safety issue. We all tripped down it at one point or another.
dishwasher is needed as no one wants to wash up on holiday if they can avoid it !
thicker duvets and blankets need to be provided. We were there end of March and were freezing in the night with nothing extra to put over us.
Extension lead for lamp in twin room so lamp can be placed on bedside table and turned off from bed at night.
Instructions for wood burner for those people who don't have them - just to ensure correct and safe use.
More than one toilet roll is needed.
Hand towels as well as bath towels are needed.
You could consider different coloured towels so people can distinguish between theirs and someone else's.
larger size fridge if possible and freezer compartment.
Coat stand just inside the door is needed.
Otherwise lovely furnishings and, seahorse theme and seashore colours.
Hosts weren't intrusive so good for those who just want privacy.
