Guest Reviews
- Kate (10/5): Cozy, comfortable cottage. Gorgeous location. - Cozy and really comfortable. Well equipped. Beautiful location. Ideal for exploring Rutland Water and surrounding areas. Great communication ahead of our arrival - really helpful. Nothing. We loved it.
- Dean (10/5): - It was ideal for our stay, on the banks of Rutland water just fantastic The only thing I could say is the arch from kitchen to longe is a bit low, but there is nothing you can do about it as it's structural, one of us was 6ft 4ins so he had to duck 😂
- Sacha (9/5): Pretty Near Perfect - The furnishings were luxurious and immaculately clean. The cottage was more spacious than expected. The animals outside added a little something special to our stay. It was cold outside but wonderfully toasty inside the property. The heating was easy to control and very responsive. The showers were large and the water pressure was a joy. We all slept like babies in the comfortable beds. The well-equipped kitchen felt like home from home. And the welcome hamper was an unexpected, generous touch. We forgot to sign the visitors book, but we would have left a message of gratitude had we remembered. The only thing I would have liked was a more thorough clean of the floors before we arrived and something to clean the floors with throughout our stay. It might also be time to change the towels, as the ones we were provided with were clean but stained in places. Neither of those little niggles adversely affected our stay. The positives overwhelmingly outweighed the minor negatives.

- Jason (10/5): A wonderful to celebrate both my wife's and son's birthdays. It was a wonderful stay. - Location, furnishings, facilities, ambiance, nearness to Stamford and Oakham. Nothing
- Ed (10/5): -
- Anne (9/5): Lovely welcoming Cottage - thank you! - Decor beautiful. Great location. Welcome box very welcome! Chickens amusing and eggs yummy. Dropping noise on roof of double room when raining kept us awake. Coming from guttering onto roof?
- David (10/5): Perfect - Everything was spot on,couldn't be faulted. Zero
- Wendy (10/5): A wonderful stay in perfect accommodation. - This property is absolutely fantastic. Warm, cosy, homely and fun with beautifully designed rooms. We stayed for new year and there was a beautiful hamper, Christmas tree and decoration on the door. Fabulous location and very quiet. Excellent value for money. Everything perfect I cannot fault this property.
- Beverley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalya (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely decoration, well equipped for a self catered getaway. Very cozy. Loved the chickens! Hosts left a little basket for us to get us going food wise. Very sweet! Felt like I was staying in a French cottage on a farm honestly! Bed was a bit hard. Was a bit tricky to find at night! When you pull into the hotel, just before the hotel gates it's the road on the right!
- Christine (10/5): Would recommend to anyone! - Beautiful home and great location to relax and spend time outdoors!
- Charlotte (9/5): Lovely, cosy property - The property is newly refurbished, so everything is in great condition and finished to a high standard, with lovely bathrooms. The location was great for us, as we had a wedding at the nearby Holywell Hall. Parking is also easy with a permitted space at the property. Easy to collect keys with a key safe and lovely welcome package on arrival. It would have been nice to have some black out blinds in the bedrooms, as the rooms were quite light when waking up but it didnt cause too much trouble, just some feedback if we had to choose something!
