Für uns passte es nach 112km Fahrt auf unserer 2. Ettappe des Thakhek Loop zu Zweit auf einem Honda 125cc Scooter mit ca. 4h reiner Fahrtzeit von Thalang auf malerischer guter Strasse und wenig Verkehr perfekt. Das Resort bietet 4 schöne Doppelbungalows aus Holz auf hohen Stelzen. Raum ca. 16m2 & Veranda mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Lackierte Holzdielen, bequeme Betten mit weichen Kopfkissen und Matratze, Bettleuchte, AC & Van, geflisstes Bad, warme Dusche, Waschbecken und WC, grosser Wasserbehälter (zum Wäschewaschen), Waschgel- und Shampoo-Spender, Haarfön, Zahnbürsten & Q-Tips, erbauliche buddhistische Literatur. Gratis schnelles WLAN in Bungalows & Restaurant. Fas grosse Restaurant direkt am Fluss ist aussergewöhnlich mit Holzkunst ausgestattet. Lackierte Holztische und weiche Sitzkissen auf allen Stühlen, schöne Tischset. Speisekarte umfangreich. Speisen appetitlich zubereitet und schmackhaft. Für uns war das Restaurant zum Dinner und Frühstück ein absolutes Highlight. Das umfangreiche Frühstück ist im Preis inbegriffen und exzellent. Kaffee, Milch & Orangensaft vom Buffet, Wasserflächen, wahlweise Spiegelei, Rührei oder Omelett, Fruchtsalat, grosszügig Butter, Marmelade Un 3 Scheiben Toast. Personal sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Wären des Tagesausflug zur Kong Lor Cave wurde das Zimmer ungefragt gemacht und die Handtücher gewechselt. Ein Top Service. Inhaber spricht gut English. Preis / Leistung exzellent. Gerne wieder. Keine Beanstandungen

• Dan (10/5): Delightful stay - Absolutely beautiful place. All the cows were very sweet and the river next to the property is beautiful. The owner of the resort is very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant there was also delicious and stayed open until we'd finished our (quite late) drinks. Couldn't have stayed in a better place after a long day of riding. Thanks!

Il y avait énormément de fourmis rouges en dehors du bungalow (escalier, rampe...). Rien de très grave puisqu'il n'y avait rien à l'intérieur du logement, heureusement. C'est la nature !

• Verena (10/5): Relaxing spot for a timeout from the loop and culinary highlight - Lovely place to spend some time nearby the Thakhek loop. We spent two nights at Sainamhai while doing the loop. It's a lovely place on the river edge, at a five minute driving distance to the loop, with beautiful gardens and a wonderful river view. It is mostly quiet (apart from roosters in the early morning hours that we are not used to). The bamboo hut is very clean, the bed comfortable, some colonial furniture. There is hot water! I highly recommend the restauant. They serve very freshly cooked meals, also vegetarians will find a good, tasty variety! I recommend the meals with holy basil. Breakfast is simple, white bread, jam and butter and eggs in different variations, coffee and tea. Very friendly director and staff, very relaxing atmosphere.

No les falta detalle: lámpara y enchufe a los lados de la cama, ducha caliente, armario para colgar tus cosas, cama gigante, manta extra... Y todo está muy limpio. Incluso nos pusieron un plástico en la cama el día que hizo mucho viento para que no cayera polvo encima. El entorno es precioso, con vistas al rio y vaquitas muy simpáticas en el jardín, un paraíso. La familia es muy agradable y la comida exquisita. Es el mejor lugar donde quedarse si buscas tranquilidad y una buena ubicación para visitar las cuevas. Gracias de nuevo!

• Anke (10/5): Perfekte Unterkunft auf dem Loop!!! - Perfekte Übernachtung während des Loops! Das Sainamhai liegt direkt auf dem ‚Loop‘, entsprechend einfach zu finden. Die wunderschönen, großen und geschmackvollen Hütten mit Veranda liegen in einem großzügigen Garten, teils direkt am Fluss. Bequeme Betten, super sauberes Bad, ruhig gelegen -was will man mehr. Dazu gehört ein Restaurant direkt am Fluss mit hervorragendem Essen. Auch das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen mit Omelette, Baguette und frischem Obst. Guter Kaffee und den besten Mangoshake, den wir auf Laos hatten. Die Besitzer sind sehr, sehr freundlich und bemüht, wir haben uns super wohlgefühlt. Dies ist eine der besten Unterkünfte, die wir auf unserer Rundreise hatten!!! Vielen Dank!!! Nicht

• Julia (10/5): Perfect place to stay and relax as well as see the local sites. - We enjoyed two nights with the lovely couple who own and manage this property. The wooden cabins are spacious and have good AC to keep you cool in the hot nights. The shower is excellent and they work hard to make sure your stay is very comfortable. The huts are well looked after and clean. The main restaurant area has real character and is a perfect peaceful location to sit by the river and relax. It is also an ideal situation to visit the famous Kong Lor Cave. We had our own transport and it was about 50 minutes drive. Included in the price for our stay was a fabulous breakfast and we also enjoyed delicious home cooked food during the evening. The owners have cattle that wander around and add character to the location. What made our stay special was the way the where really looked after us and made sure our stay was warm and welcome, beautiful people with hearts of gold.
• Callum (10/5): Exceptional - This place was wonderful! I heard of a few people who arrived and thought it was closed because the gates were shut - but they’re not locked, so just come in. The rooms are individual cabins, which were extremely comfortable, quiet, and peaceful, with good AC. The owner is a really nice and helpful guy, and the food in the restaurant (including a free breakfast) was great. Highly recommend staying here!

The food at the restaurant is really good with lots of options. One of the better food we ate during our 1-month journey through Laos None
• Andrew (9/5): Don’t stay anywhere else. This place is lovely. - This really is a delightful place. It’s set on the Nasaman river, which apparently is an outlet from the hydroelectric station further up the valley, and is a delight to swim or just lay in here once or twice a day to cool off. The room on stilts is very nice with a good balcony with chairs and tables to relax and enjoy the view. The whole place is very clean and our room was cleaned, beds made and fresh towels every day which is quite a bonus. The food was very good and it was very nice to enjoy a decent glass of wine in the evening watching the water pass me by. The food is also good and I think cooked by the lady of the house. The gentleman who runs and owns the place is very hospitable and helpful and is rightly proud of his accommodation. He also has about 16 small cows keeping the grass down and saying hello. It is only five minutes drive from Nahin which is where most of the guest houses seem to be and they are vastly inferior compared to this wonderful place. I don’t know why you’d stay anywhere else quite frankly. We had booked in for two nights and ended up staying six. We use it as a base for Konglor cave. I was surprised to be able to drive back from the Cave to the hotel in only 35 minutes at the end of the day.

• Wally (10/5): Great stay if you're doing the Thakhek Loop. It's a great midpoint. - How peaceful and relaxing, and the owners are awesome. As I pulled up, the owner asked me my name and immediately took great care of me, escorted me right to my bungalow, and said he saved the best for me and he was right. What a view from my deck. Just a little tricky at the entrance gate, you have to unlock the rope, open up, and drive into But remember to lock the gate behind you so his cows can't escape. I actually found it to be awesome.

The breakfast was wonderful- omelette, real coffee in a mug, fresh fruit, toast and jam. The owner spoke very good English and was happy to share his knowledge about meditation and Buddhism. His wife cooked the meals and I really enjoyed them. I wish I had stayed longer. The owner organized a songtheo for 3 of us to travel to Kong Lor. A little far out of Na Hin - but that’s also part of the beauty of this place.

The bathroom was clean and we were given shower shoes, soaps, towels and water bottles. The restaurant overlooks the river and all the resort is built of wood.

We stayed for three nights, visiting the cave on one day and did the rock experience on the second day. It was a perfect intinary, as it allowed us to watch the sunset from the rock viewpoint. What I highly recommend. Also the manager and his wife are extremely polite and welcoming. The food the prepare is exceptional.

Also we got help with some broken Equipment. In addition we found the food very tasty. Hints and recommendations were great - it was a pleasure taking to him! All in all an enjoyable stay (2 nights) For us, only downside were the mattresses - they seemed to be a bit in the years (te springst could bei felt)

When we arrived our Aircon wasn't working and they straight away changed us to a room that had aircon working. A lovely family running the resort with very cheap, delicious food. Lovely view over the river to relax with a beer after a day on the bike! Also, the breakfast in the morning was massive! Overall really nice place and would recommend staying here.
