• Sharon (9/5): Great wee spot - Super clean, great shower and we are able to take our dogs. We have stayed few times before. The fridge is a bit noisy, but not much you can do about that and I had ear plugs so was ok.

Note: my partner loved the place Wasn't notified about people water blasting the outside of the house for half a day so I couldn't enjoy the outside court area and no off street parking. My first time to New Brighton, so I didn't know the area was that dated and horri lol!! but the beach and pier was nice..

• Jessie (6/5): Decent place for a short stay. - Cleanness. The room smelt a bit funny when we first entered. We didn’t realise it’s a pet friendly unit when we booked it. There is no designated parking space so we had to park on another street around the corner. The location was interesting as it’s among the many terraced house units in a suburb 15-20 min drive from central Christchurch. Neighbours had dog(s) that barked late at night so was quite disturbing for our sleep. There was no fresh milk in the fridge other than an already opened carton of milk.

• Zoey (10/5): - Beautiful, clean, homely place right near the beach. So well set-up to receive guests and we felt that we had everything we needed, we didn't want to leave this charming place. Thank you for all the small attention to details that made a big difference. Self-check in was easy and fast. The communication with the owner was warm and friendly too. Parking near the property was hard to find. We ended up parking on another street around the corner. I figured this was because of others who live in these apartments wanting to park out front too. It didn't affect the enjoyment our stay, just something to be aware of if you expect a park outside.

Large pantry, great bathroom, nice decor. Tucked away so no road noise or neighbours passing by. Nothing to complain about at all.

• Philip (10/5): This was close to the beach and on a regular bus route into Christchurch city centre - This was a lovely well equipped unit, just a 10 minute walk from the beach and for food shopping. Spotlessly clean. A bonus for us was that there was a bus stop 100 metres from the property which took you into central Christchurch in 25 minutes. It ran very frequently, saving the hassle and expense of finding somewhere to park. Nothing

• John (9/5): Wonderful calm place to stay, very close to the ocean. - It was all set up really well. I felt cosy and comfortable. I didn't like that the cutlery and plates were so cheap material. Same for the brush and sponge in the sink. Those were quite used and kind of broken already.

• Sally (1/5): No parking, false advert, wont refund - We didnt end up staying It states parking as a facility, however it is only on street parking in what appears to be an extremely rough area with broken houses, people doing drugs in cars and patched people walking around. Shops closed and barred up. There was no way we were leaving our car with all our gear on the street. Shopping trolleys were thrown sideways on front lawns. I would not be comfortable to walk my dog around the block by myself. When asked the owner about parking he stated that it says no parking but you can see clearly on booking the (p) for parking under facilities. Didnt even go to the room and asked for refund as had only booked a couple hours prior but he would not refund even though it was false advertising. I would avoid and dont get trapped with the non refundable bookings.

Everything we needed for our 1 x night & entry system code really good as we arrived late due to a ferry delay Perhaps if anything- parking car on public road & no direct lighting as those had been taken. Had a lot of gear in it due to doing a long road trip & couldn't bring everything in at 11pm. Bit of a risk but can't have everything & very reasonably priced!
