- Prabhu r (9/5): - The property has a really nice view facing the backwaters and such serene ambience. It's a wonderful choice for weekend getaway.
- Aloke (10/5): Best stay in Kerala - Incredibly amazing pool, amazing spa, great view of the lake, attentive staff. Amazing authentic Keralan cuisine. Hands down the best hotel we stayed in in Kerala. Very kid-friendly amenities, staff pays attention to kids, amazing! Nothing to complain about.
- Santhosh Paul (7/5): -
- Siddharth (10/5): Great stay at a lakside resort with an amazing pool and restaurant - 1. Great location - Located in an area full of high end resorts, this is in a quiet area by the banks of the Lake. One end of the resort directly faced the lake, and has a jetty for boat rides organised by the resort in the mornings and evenings.
2. Amazing pool! Possibly the longest resort pool in India, the pool spans the entire length of the resort and is very well maintained! There's also a shop in the resort to buy pool stuff from such as floats for kids, etc.
3. The restaurant - located at one end of the pool, this poolside restaurant is spacious, well ventilated and has a breakfast and dinner buffet as well as A la carte. Lots of keralite dishes as well as other pan indian food items.
4. The staff - very courteous, helpful and responsive. Nothing

- Eugenia (10/5): The place and service were perfect! - Everything and the service by Pushkar was exceptional!
- Ajay (8/5): -
- Olive (4/5): Okay stay but we expected more - We had a poolside villa, and it was a big luxurious room with good seats next to the pool, and we could see the lake too
The staff are pretty helpful and prompt, never had an issue getting through on the phone
I like the smaller resort vibe it feels cozy
I really enjoyed the birdwatching I booked with them, the guide was super knowledgeable The bed was uncomfy and woke my partner up a few times.
Everything felt upcharged, for example a 20% upcharge on room service and the spa was in the 5000-6000 range, I actually went to a resort next door for a massage and it cost 4000 for the same thing.
I also felt like booking the activities via the hotel was a lot more expensive, normally there's a bit of a fee for not booking direct but I couldn't quite justify why the birdwatching was 6000 rupees, and it put me off wanting to do more activities.
The menu selection quite small although the food was pretty good if samey.
The facilities are tired, note for anyone who cares about the gym, really it's just a treadmill and a pulldown, and a few weights.
The pool is pretty cool, but a bit murky and green.
I would've given the resort 6/10, cause it was fine, but not 5 star worthy.
However on our last day before checkout they put on a concert with a massive soundsystem, much too large for the venue and had loud booming music from 7:30-10:30pm. We weren't informed of this which is hugely disrespectful and I felt ripped off that if you were there on the day they set up and that evening you couldn't enjoy the tranquility of the resort.
The idea of not communicating such a big event was ludicrous.
It was alright but I wouldn't go back.
- RajatGoyal (9/5): Great stay at a great location, would recommend for couples as well as well as families. - Great service and staff. Right from checkin to checkout, all the interactions were great.
Reception staff were warm and welcoming and similarly the restaurant staff were excellent, both the kitchen and wait staff.
A unique design and layout of the entire property and individual cottages also thoughtfully made.
Nice sized room for the price and location. Open air shower along with private plunge pool is a nice touch.
Restaurant food was good and reasonably priced.
Complimentary boat ride on the lake everyday evening around sunset time was a good experience. The large main pool and private plunge pool are great but need slightly better maintenance and regular cleaning.
Not bad but could be better since the pool is the centre of the property, the signature you might say.
Noticed chipped or broken tiles in many places at main pool and our plunge pool.
Similarly the open air shower could use better cleaning.
WiFi was good overall but had to call for support multiple times during our stay as the router in our room would randomly glitch or stop working. Response was prompt every time and issue would be resolved but it was a minor irritant.

- Lukose (10/5): The pool and the view from the room was awesome. - The pool and the view from the room was awesome.
- Rashmi (6/5): - The long pool ending in Vembanad lake.
The sunset is very pleasant. They forced us to take a gala dinner on Christmas evening. Overall it is very expensive.
- Shekin (8/5): -
- Marcus floriano (9/5): The staff was excellent. - Location
- Claire (8/5): Relaxing stay if you are not looking for super luxury, ensure to book poolside villa. - The staff and food were amazing, the pool was fantastic size, just wish there were some seats to sit by it! Nowhere to sit by the pool if you aren’t in a poolside villa, facilities are all quite run down and tired.
- Jeanne (7/5): Chouette séjour à Kumarakom ! - Le personnel était vraiment très sympa, surtout Mathan Rana !
- Jose (8/5): -
- Jobin (9/5): -
- Swetha (8/5): -
- Yastiel (6/5): Amazing location, amazing staff, hygiene needs some serious review! - Beautiful location, staff are extremely accommodating and helpful. Found a dirty nappy under my bed - this is a concerning and unacceptable lack of hygiene. Very disappointing.
- SRINIVAS RAO (9/5): One of beautiful location of Kerala and we really enjoyed the stay. - Beauty of Kerala

- Prabhat (8/5): -
- Mathew (10/5): - . Didn't get the room I wanted
- Kishor (8/5): -
- Jyothis (10/5): -
- David (9/5): Very relaxing. - Everything, a little bit of luxury. Nothing.
- Luana (9/5): - The staff was just amazing! They were all extremely friendly, warm-hearted, and helpful. They did everything for us (even helped us fix the saree). The pool was very nice and was cleaned every day. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a lovely bathroom outside. The spa menu was great, with amazing massages at a reasonable price. Dinner was very good, and there was great chai! Some pleasant-scented oil for the massages would be great.
- Bernadine (4/5): Not worth the money- staffs have no commitment - The ambience and the location I hope the resort reviews this feedback and considers improvements. We booked two rooms - a poolside cottage and a lake-view terrace priced at about ₹37,000 per night together. On arrival around 2 p.m., both gates were closed; we accidentally entered a nearby property, as the board was kept really inside and not properly faced like the nearby properties. The entrance lacked clear signage and a welcoming feel.
Overall, the property lacks attention to detail, anticipatory service, and personal warmth. No one assisted with luggage properly, and check-in felt slow and impersonal. One room booked for three guests had amenities for only two, and despite being a 5-star property, there were no basic complimentary in-room F&B amenities such as fruits or locals treats. We were also misinformed about the evening tea service, resulting in a 40-minute wait in the wrong location with no proactive follow-up from staff. Even after complaining about it to one of the staff near the boat, there was no anticipatory service regarding this matter.
Breakfast was really good, and the executive chef interacted with guests, though requesting reviews felt inappropriate, as guests should feel inspired to share feedback naturally, not prompted.
We were celebrating our mother’s pre-birthday, which we informed during booking and reiterated earlier personally to a Front office desk agent, yet no effort was made to personalize the experience. Instead, we were redirected to the F&B events team with chargeable packages, which was disappointing for a 5-star stay as I had clearly mentioned about amenities and not a birthday package as the actual birthday is on a different date. These were important golden nuggets that the staffs could actually utilise to a personalised service but they didn’t take the effort.
Overall, the experience did not justify the price. With a slightly higher budget, CGH or Taj offers far superior hospitality and a genuine “home away from home” feeling.

- Louna (10/5): - Hôtel, magnifique, végétation, luxuriante, piscine, incroyable, et personnel, adorable…
Je recommande vivement

- Elizabeth (9/5): A relaxing resort with really kind, helpful staff - The staff were absolutely fantastic, especially Anjana, who not only helped arrange all of our activities but also was kind enough to dress me in my saree for the wedding we were attending. I also ate the best mutton biriyani of my life there.
- Sabari (10/5): Must try once - Perfect Nothing

- raji (5/5): Bday - Good for photography Room to be modernised
- Fernandez (9/5): - Atmosphere, cleanliness, hospitality
- Pooja (8/5): -
- Jitin (6/5): - Checkout at 11.30 was offered. Limited staff and food options
- Flower 🌼 1 (10/5): - Swimming pool
Location Room size is too small, moisture trapped in rooms

- Tabi (8/5): -
- Karthik (10/5): -

- Mathew (9/5): Excellent place to relax at the backwaters and enjoy the longest swimming pool in India. - The place is lovely, the location superb, adjoining the back waters. The pool is the longest in India, and I enjoyed swimming across the length of it! The staff are very friendly, and the food is great.
The poolside cottages are great and definitely worth the extra. The spa is also huge and well designed. They use a lot of insecticides I guess, to keep away bugs and other flying creatures. And our driver complained about the slushy parking area and lack of facilities for drivers, compared to other resorts in the area.
- Ajmal (8/5): -
- Sujitha (8/5): -
- Pradeep (7/5): Good for short vacation, not worth the money. - Best part is the long swimming pool meeting the backwaters and Ayurvedic massage was great! AC ducts were not clean, bathroom ventilation was not working properly and it was bit dusty. Moisture from AC was dripping inside one of the rooms (407). Food was average. Food options can be limited but quality need to be improved. Example , We orderered Mushroom fry , it was too salty. Ordered sweet lassi for kids but we received salt lassi, fruit salad with icecream had chickpeas. Overall for hygiene, I would rate low. Very limited cultural activities and activities for kids. Swimming pool rules were not followed by guests.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Anoop (1/5): I Dont recommend - Location is good but there are better places with good lake view in kumarokam
Pool is good Food was pathetic, even tea was not up to the mark.
Property is old, tiles were not clean in toilets
4pm snacks were not great. Please look for better chef.
Property has only pool as main attraction. Couldn't do much in the property.
- Kuriakose (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jisha (8/5): Very good -
- Durgaprasad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Riaz (10/5): Exceptional - Great experience overall. Food was very good. Pool is excellent! Need some renovation of some of the facilities but had a nice rustic feel to the property which is unique
- Indhu (5/5): Passable -
- Sreekumar (10/5): It was an excellent stay worthy of a luxury resort - The stay at Rhythm was very comfortable . The hotel staff was courteous and very helpful. The hotel made impeccable travel arrangements during our stay. The breakfast was excellent and the food at the restaurant for dinner was also superb. A sunset cruise was arranged by the hotel as a complimentary service. The cruise in itself was excellent. But improvements could be made to the arrangements for boarding and alighting from the cruise boat from the safety angle.
- Subhamani (10/5): Exceptional - I recently stayed at this stunning resort and booked one of their poolside cottages—honestly, one of the best decisions I’ve made for a relaxing getaway.
The cottage itself was cozy, beautifully maintained, and just steps away from the infinity pool, which overlooked a breathtaking lake view. Waking up and walking straight out to a quiet poolside morning was a dream. The room had everything I needed—comfortable bedding, a spacious bathroom, and a private outdoor seating area perfect for coffee at sunrise.
The infinity pool was the highlight for me. Crystal clear, well-maintained, and with enough lounge space to feel private even when a few other guests were around. Whether I wanted to swim or just float and soak in the view, it was the ultimate spot to unwind.
Service was warm and attentive, with staff going the extra mile without being intrusive. Food at the resort was fresh and flavorful—especially the local dishes.
Special Thanks to Manu for the flawless massage booking and Athira for the being the best masseur
All in all, this resort offers the perfect mix of comfort, natural beauty, and peaceful vibes. Highly recommended if you’re looking to recharge in style.
- Amie (10/5): Even if there were not so amazing experience due to rain, still the property is good - I like the long pool but we were not able to use the private pool of which that was the intention of taking the villa but we could not use as it is dirty. It was not clean, during we arrived and even we left nobody clean up the private pool. I love the Spa it was raining nobody was checking the room leakage.
- Anshad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nishanth (9/5): Lakeside Serenity: Rhythm Kumarakom Retreat - Rhythm Kumarakom offers a serene lakeside retreat with stunning views, luxurious rooms, and top-notch hospitality. The beautiful Kerala architecture, peaceful ambiance, and excellent amenities like the pool and spa make for a relaxing getaway. The delicious food, warm staff, and unique experiences like backwater but this time I have missed my cruises experience in the backwater due to weather but the team look forward the safety first for the guest add to its charm.
- Vinu (7/5): Good - Location and the actual resort were brilliant. They were cleaning or doing something to the lake which was too loud
- Sachin (8/5): Very good -
- Ravikumar (10/5): Exceptional - Overall I liked the property very much. we came for one day stay with family but then after experiencing the resort we decided to extend the stay and it was a great experience. Service, rooms, food everything was great and especially the long pool was a great refreshment to us.. plunge pool and its open air bathroom was also a good experience.. There is nothing like that…
- Sudhir (10/5): Excellent property . Must visit - Excellent location , staff response was also good . Great spa with knowledgeable and qualified staff. Good food . The pool was amazing . Checking and check out was absolutely smooth Nothing to mention
- Bindu (10/5): Great location, stunning view of Vembanad Lake, Great staff and Spa Experience - Our recent stay at the Rhythm Resort was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location was perfect, nestled amidst lush greenery with stunning views. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with modern amenities. The resort's amenities were impressive, including a fantastic pool area, a well-equipped fitness center, and a variety of dining options that catered to all tastes.
Breakfast Buffet had great variety of delicious food. Staff were very friendly. I visited with my aged parents and they arranged Wheel chair services.
The pool area was awesome. The stunning view of Vembanad lake and the free boating arranged from Resort was a great experience. I had few massage appointments at their spa and was very relaxing experience
We would definitely recommend staying in this Resort to our family and friends. It would be a memorable great experience.
- Petya (10/5): perfect place to stay - amazing pool and staff very friendly
- Cj1092 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tysam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vijay (5/5): I would not visit again. - The pool was the main attraction at this hotel The hotel does not seem as it’s been maintained, we found the TV did not work, there was no remote for the AC and the Safe had issues, these could all be resolved by simples checks. The food was average, the staff seemed over worked and the staff need to be looked after as they work very hard! I don’t believe this is a 5* as suggested, possibly a 2*
- Arun (8/5): Very good -
- Lakshmi (9/5): Superb - Food was tasty and excellent Choices of food could have been more.
- Rakesh (5/5): Passable - Check in was fast. Excellent staff, everyone is courteous and helpful. We had some issue with bad odor in the bathroom, and housekeeping staff did assist with the issue when we pointed this out. The large pool adds charm to the place. We did not use spa services so cannot comment. The common areas are neat, and well maintained. My room did not meet my expectation, especially for the price paid the experience was below expectation, and that of a basic three star hotel. I had booked lake view terrace room, and the assigned room was standard / basic room. The bed was not comfortable as it caved in the middle. The shower height is not positioned for a tall person. The room requires major upgrades, especially if it is sold at five star property prices. Breakfast was good but dinner buffet can be improved.
- Ruba (6/5): Pleasant -
- R (2/5): Very poor - Pool Customer service
- M (10/5): Exceptional -
- Krishnanunni (1/5): Not worth the price - Swimming pool Food, too pricy and extremely bad quality
- Laurence (10/5): Stunning location and amazing pool - Just had 1 night here to relax and take in Lake Vembanad. Had a small bungalow by the amazing 150m pool which was great to take in the sunset from and an early morning dip. Hotel staff were all very welcoming from the start with welcome drinks and flexibility for our departure time. Ashana was super helpful and all the restaurant staff were great - especially the chef at the live counter. Loved the live music accompanying dinner too - great musicians. Food was totally amazing - really recommend the evening buffet for such a wide choice of very tasty local food.
- Abhi (4/5): Lovely facilities and nice staff cannot paper over the cracks. Would not recommend. - The hotel is in a lovely location and the facilities are maintained very well. The breakfast was decent and the pool was lovely. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Our room felt unfinished. We had one meal in the hotel on the first day and we decided never again. The food was poorly made and incredibly overpriced for what was served. The spa rates are a scam and the one service we booked was painfully bad.
- Narayanan (9/5): Superb -
- Patricia (8/5): Very good -
- Fatema (8/5): Very good - Lovely setting and pool area Quite pricey for what it was
- Webster (6/5): Pleasant -
- Parth (9/5): Superb -
- S (8/5): The stay at the resort was memorable. The view from our room was truly stunning. - Loved the ambience. The view of the pool & the Vembanad Kayal in the distance was truly stunning & soothing for the eye. Found it too expensive for the facilities offered.
- Viney (8/5): The owner changed 3/4 years ago but seems decided to change rates and not do any renovation - Location and nature Very old resort. Not worthy to be called a five star property. Everythîng in the room is old. Furniture, doors, bathroom, style. Not many amenities, available. No hand towels. Buffet breakfast mediocre quality. However the chef Mukesh in restaurant makes nice food.
Hotel offers one hour boat trip in the evening which we decided to avail and just 15 minutes prior to departure it was cancelled and we missed going somewhere
else as it was late for sight
Seeing.
- Susan (8/5): Rhythm Hotel - Beautiful villa set along the pool , pretty garden areas and great restaurant serving buffet food No room service unless we asked for it - which we did as the floors needed a sweep. Also no beers / alcohol available. The hotel staff did go out to get some for us.
