• Harriet (8/5): Peaceful, convenient, comfortable. - The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. The property was simple but attractive and comfortable. We made our own breakfast but that was fine and expected. Can't think of anything we didn't like!

• Howard (10/5): Light modern 1 bed apartment in a delightful rural setting - Really nice space - light and modern, but in a delightful rural setting on a farm. Great use of space. Nice lounge area, well equipped little kitchen. I was just staying a night - but it would be a great base for a longer stay. Nothing I didn’t like - but as the pictures clearly show, it’s in a roof space. I’m a little over six feet tall - so I had to take care not to bang my head. Managed it without too much difficulty!

• Kevin (3/5): Personally I'd never stay there again - Decent bathroom and bed Washing machine directly below accommodation was very disturbing, initially sounding like the space shuttke at take off. I complained about the noise only to then find myself on the receiving end of a lecture about it being a working farm, which was offensive and completely irrelevant. If you offer holiday rentals then the parameters for quality are the same as for everywhere else - if it sounds like a laundrette then that's unacceptable. Unfortunately that wasn't the only issue. I have stayed in so many places on booking.com and the price, £120/night, was veey expensive indeed, the property being more in line with £70-80/night accommodation. The seating was very cheap and uncomfortable, there were no curtains anywhere in the premises. The bedroom had some sucker- backed fabric in the chest of drawers which was described as "blackout curtains", which would not cover the whole window (see photos) and were absolutely pathetic for keeping light out The accommodation was cold on arrival, despite a message from the host before I arrived saying that they had put it on fir ne, and it didn't reach a satisfactory temperature for a further 5 hours after my arrival. Basically it was very expensive for what it was, and it was much worse than significantly cheaper alternatives Update based upon owners response - the owner is clearly trying to discredit me. Can't blame her for trying, but just to be clear, I'm at Genius Level 3 and have run my own holiday let for 15 years with over 400 reviews averaging 4.92/5. She told me rudely that the washing machine would be on all day and if I didn't like it perhaps I should just leave, so if she calls that offering me a refund then perhaps she did. I probably did make a bad job of putting the "curtains" up, but this just shows that it's not obvious how to do it and if they just provided curtains then guests wouldn't have to struggle with the process

• Desigan (8/5): Comfortable, peaceful, clean & great location to explore Lewes, Brighton & the countryside! - Great place near Lewes, stayed with our 2 children and we were very comfortable. Milk/coffee/tea/water and sweets were waiting for us & even a little Christmas tree! Thank you! There is no separate bedroom, just a separate space, all one room.

• Steve (10/5): Very relaxing - the location is close to a working farm and truly rural. With easy routes to Lewis, Brighton and Glyndbourne. Not really a negative, but choosing the right turning for the last few hundred yards is a challenge - particularly in the dark. But if you follow the detailed instructions from the host you will not have any problems getting to the right location.

The place smelt amazing too! Nespresso coffee machine with pods, fresh milk and water. We decided to stay in and order Uber eats, even in this secluded location. Peaceful location with the odd Cockerel crowing! Goats on the field were roaming around..Huge sofa bed. Everything was of high quality. Friendly and welcoming hosts live in adjacent house. We loved it. Steep metal stairs so would not suit all. Highly recommended 😀 Nothing.

Good value for money too. The bedroom and lounge is open plan which wasn’t what we were expecting. Can create privacy issues if also using the sofa bed.

The property was stylishly furnished to a very high standard. It was clean and tidy and very comfortable. I highly recommend this property Although the satnav took us to the appropriate location, there were no signs to show the name of the property.

Clean and uncluttered but well equipped with everything we needed. We found the black-out blinds in the bedroom worked well - these may be a new addition as some previous reviews have mentioned being woken by the daylight in the early mornings. No issues.

The flat was very clean and it didn’t lack - The location is beautiful; the house is surrounded by open fields and it is adjacent to a farm with some goats chicken etc. it is very peaceful . • Stephen (8/5): Lovely location in beautifully appointed apartment - Beautiful location only 10 minutes from Lewes by Taxi/car. The apartment is very well appointed with everything that you could possibly need. The milk and bottled water in the fridge were most welcome. Our stay was in July and it was light very early. We didn’t realise that there were no blinds on the bedroom window which meant we were awake from 4.30am. Also the rooster’s morning cries! WiFi isn’t great.

It had 2 hobs and a microwave for cooking meals which I made use of. The farm setting was lovely and it was nice to see the chickens running around in the morning!

Nice touches like milk in the fridge and coffee and tea in the kitchen. Comfortable bed and good shower. Window blinds would have been appreciated on a sunny morning in mid summer!

Everything had been thought of to make for a relaxing stay. Thoughtful extras (manicure set and mending kit too!) Bottled milk, bottles of water. Nothing at all!

Perfect place to crash before and after our wedding. Not a complaint but maybe feedback…. With nothing to cover the windows by the bed, the sunlight streams in in the morning! Whilst this can be lovely sometimes, unfortunately it did make it difficult to sleep in the early hours.

Everything we needed was provided but also there were additional provisions, tea, coffee, coffee machine, tea towels, bottled water, butter. In the bathroom, shower products and plenty of towels. The shower was easy operate and and the whole apartment was perfectly clean and decorated to a high standard. The host really did think of the little things that made it a home from home. I especially loved seeing the chickens and goats from the windows and the beautiful countryside. 10/10 from me.
