- Darren (7/5): Room was comfortable, food was good staff was good. Ideal overnight stay. - Close to everything Noise at night “Traffic “. No secure parking.
- Veronika (8/5): Very good - Location is right in the town center. Room was okay, shared showers and toilets were clean. Good accommodation for the price.
- Mike (8/5): Character pub and accom in Clermont - I love the style of these old country pubs. Room was comfy, aircon worked, beer was cold, meals were good, pricing good, comms good, staff good. Yes you have to share the facilities but don't go if you can't handle that. Nothing really, you get what you expect, it's an old pub that does the basics well
- Kevin (9/5): Superb - Great
- Matthew (8/5): Very good - Driving from Airlie Beach to Melbourne, we needed a place to stay for the night and the Commercial Hotel delivered. We were not sure what to expect for the price but we were actually pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, bedsheets were clean with fresh towels and toiletries provided + tea & coffee sachets. There was a small communal kitchenette where you could use the microwave and kettle. The communal bathroom and toilet were clean. A great bonus with the the table & chairs on the verandah. Though the pub was packed due to a golf tournament happening the next day, the noise died down quite early and it did not affect us. Highly recommend. On our second night, we stayed at a caravan park in Charleville which was a disgrace in terms of cleanliness and highway robbery.
- Trevor (7/5): Good -
- Cassie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Olivia (9/5): Great facilities & friendly atmosphere! - Shout out to the staff, who were so welcoming and helpful. Bed was comfy, room clean and the bar fridge in the room was a cool bonus. Great value for money! The pub food was tasty & beer garden a great spot to enjoy sunset & a cold bev.
- Cindy (8/5): Great location, great food, lovely staff. Value for money. - Central location, nice food, friendly staff. Room was quiet and secure. Short walk to bathrooms. A little dated, particularly bathroom facilities, but still very good value for money.
- James (8/5): Good value overnight accommodation. -
- Cara (9/5): Totally awesome stay again will ask for extra pillow - Super safe, good meals, good location, friendly staff, good aircon, and balcony Fire alarm went off 3 times in 1 night, but at least we weren't on fire, could do with extra pillow, was off main road bit noisy, but that's location totally
- Merrilea (7/5): Good -
- Alexander (7/5): Good value for short stay - Good value for the price, the room is big enough, small communal kitchen with some appliances, convenient location on the main road, good for the short stay to/from Carnarvon National Park Outdated, showers without the place for clothes
- Lau (10/5): Exceptional - I have been there several times before
- Mark (6/5): Pleasant -
- Pete (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (5/5): Reasonable value for money - Room opening onto veranda. Great meal in restaurant. Friendly service. Plenty of power points in room. Basin in room. Fridge in room Bathroom not very tidy or clean. Broken wardrobe in room. Obviously used for long term accommodation
- John (8/5): Great pub with friendly staff. - Staff at the Commercial Hotel Clermont were friendly and very helpful. Meals and service was excellent. Shared showers and toilets, but it was a comfortable place to stay. I'd recommend it.
- Jon (8/5): Very good -
- Caitlin (8/5): Very good - It's nice pub to stay at. It has a very nice heritage charm. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The room was comfy and had big windows doors opening onto the verandah. The showers are old and a bit dirty but the bathrooms are otherwise clean and well stocked. We had a pizza for dinner in the pub downstairs, which was nice. The friendly staff showed me where I could sit to plug my laptop in and gave me the wifi, which was super helpful as I had to work. Check in and check out process was straight forward and easy. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're coming through this town.
- Richard (9/5): Superb -

- Suppes (6/5): People were great. Decent value. - Good location. Nice pub. Good food. Nice staff. Common area was an after thought. Not maintained.

- Byrne (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Irma (10/5): Historical charm at a great price, conveniently located in a pub. Excellent post a long hot drive - Unique place to stay venue for money and I will return
- Wren (4/5): The price is per night is the only positive. - Buildings fire alarm went off at 2am, guests left their rooms and wondered the halls to see what was happening. Not a single staff member made an appearance. Strange considering the majority of the staff live onsite in adjacent rooms.
And not to mention the staff that live onsite (backpackers) use the common space as their own private hangout at 1am, without any consideration to paying guests.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Lane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - The staff are always great, the pub is old but clean. Exceptional value for money you just can’t beat!

- Michaela (7/5): Good -
- Jordon (8/5): Very good -
- Erik (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wren (7/5): For the price you pay, I don’t expect much else. - Great food at the restaurant, room was nice and clean, and noise level from the pub downstairs was good. Tv had very limited channels, couldn’t even get primary channels like 7 and 9 to watch the news. 2 out of the 3 showers drains in the female bathroom were blocked, so the water over flows onto the tiles. The standard of cleanness in the bathrooms is very disappointing. There’s old empty bottles and face washers which look like they’ve been there for some time gathering mould.
- Kelly (4/5): Disappointing -
- Peter (8/5): Very good - Thanks so much, great place
