• Jane (3/5): Horrible stench from choked pipes in bathroom! Couldn’t even brush teeth or shower without holding my breath! - Walking distance to city centre Staff refused to admit water pipes are choked and bad stench was a result of choked pipes. Kept saying it was due to its due to natural occurrence in Iceland. Kitchen is not clean. Cups and cutlery are not washed inside dishwasher. Cleaner did not keep washed crockery and cutlery in cupboards or drawers.

• Erica (8/5): Ottima struttura, ci tornerei volentieri!! - La struttura aveva una buona posizione, vicino alla fermata dal bus e facilmente raggiungibile il centro storico. La stanza molto confortevole, moderna e molto pulita, colazione in perfetto orario e con ottimi prodotti, staff super disponibile che ha risposto ad ogni mia domanda. Poche cose non mi sono piaciute e non sono nemmeno di grande rilevanza: la mancanza di una tendina oscurante alla finestra si è fatta sentire e alla mattina ho avuto problemi a trovare tazze e posate da usare per la colazione per via della lavastoviglie piena e sporca.

The house, while not the newest, was exactly what I expected for that price and served me very well for a night. The bathroom lights were far, far too dim. You cannot open the windows much to get in fresh air unfortunately.

• Jiawen (4/5): It was ok if you are not aiming for a high quality stay - Location was fairly easy to find 1. The toilet seat is broken 2. The door lock was low battery and warns every time you try to open 3. The toilet tap water was smelly and gives disgusting smell when you turn on the tap water there 4. The pipe in the bathroom is super loud and you need to close the bathroom door all the time if you want some silence 5. The shared kitchen is well equipped but the coffee machine needs some patience to work with 6. The curtains are not fully blocking lights you need eye cover for sleep 7. The closest restaurant is 10 mins away 8. The email responses from the service team was not timely and not hospitable at all, I didn’t feel helped or supported really.

• VALENTINA (9/5): Due notti all'Audur Guesthouse - Camera grande, pulita e accogliente (mancherebbe solo un tavolo, lo spazio c'è). Letti molto comodi. Posizione ottima per raggiungere a piedi il centro di Reykjavik. Bagno pulito ma avrebbe bisogno di un po' di manutenzione (segnalati allo staff problemi con scarico del lavandino e coperchio wc).

• Marco (6/5): Cozy place, needs a bit of care - We stayed at Audur Guesthouse in Reykjavík and overall had a good experience. Communication was excellent — we received all the necessary information well in advance. The property offers two parking spots, though they’re not always available. The location is very good, just about a 10-minute walk from Hallgrímskirkja. There’s a shared kitchen with everything you need and a cozy dining area where you can enjoy your meals. A charming place overall — it wouldn’t take much to make it truly great. The house itself is nice but could use some maintenance: the wooden floor was damaged, the window frames a bit old, and there was no wardrobe in the room.

• Andrew (8/5): Comfortable, affordable accommodation for city centre - Convenient location walking distance to city centre, cathedral, museums etc . Free parking. Good sized comfortable room with balcony and garden. Nice dining room Close to a main road so noisy. Small kitchen for number of guests if all use it
• Ali (8/5): Perfect spot for my short stay. - Stayed just 1 night arriving late and leaving early. The room was as pictured. I arrived and the bedside table lamp was on creating a feeling that I was expected and welcome. I so appreciated that. Bed was comfy. Sink in room was appreciated. Everything was very clean. Door codes worked perfectly! Shower hot water smells like sulfur - that’s common though. Bath/shower was very slippery and I almost fell.

• Monique (9/5): Perfect spot for a solo traveller and good value. Quick walk to town and peaceful at night. - Great for a solo traveller for a night with limited street noise. Comfortable bed and shared bathroom perfect. Communal kitchen available with great coffee! A bit of a walk from the main bus terminal with luggage. Signage subtle but directly opposite street light walkway is the entrance.

• Jens (6/5): Weinig kwaliteit voor de prijs, verblijf heeft een grondige update nodig. - Comfortabele bedden. Dicht bij centrum. Sterk verouderd gebouw. Wc spoelt slecht door. Badkamer is douchebak met gordijn in de gang. Wasbak op toilet van 1m2. Kleine kamer aan een drukke 2-vaksbaan met veel verkeer en lawaai. Doucheraam is transport en vlak naast inkomdeur waar iedereen binnenkomt. Keuken verouderd en niet proper.

• JOELLE (1/5): UNE HORREUR. J’avais réservé 2 nuits pour 402,57 €. J’ai passé la 2ème nuit dans un autre hôtel. - Rien, à fuir !!!!! J’ai perdu 207 € car obligé de passer la 2ème nuit dans un autre hôtel, et bien entendu une nuit blanche. Ce logement ne devrait pas figurer sur Booking. Pas propre, très bruyant (on dirait qu’on dort sur le trottoir), très petit, pas où poser sa valise, douche avec vitre non brouillée et vue sur logement voisin, mini lavabo avec toilettes où la porte est juste devant vos jambes. Ce n’est pas une salle de bain !!! Rideaux non occultants. Livraison du petit déjeuner à 6h30 accroché â la poignée de porte et bien sûr claquement de la porte.

• Michaela (8/5): Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Gerne wieder. - Kaffeemaschine, Frühstück wann man möchte, man macht es selbst, freundliche Zimmer, Flexibilität durch Schliesssystem, gute Lage nahe Busbahnhof und am Rand des Zentrums Milch mitbringen, die hat beim Frühstück leider gefehlt.

• Sonia (7/5): Accogliente Guest house, unica pecca il bagno - La struttura è pulita e, considerato il costo, ha una buona posizione non lontana dal centro. Offre inoltre la possibilità di utilizzare la cucina e il soggiorno comune e dispone di tutto il necessario per cucinare. Il bagno è veramente minuscolo, le dimensioni sono quelle del bagno in aereo. Inoltre l’acqua della doccia odorava di zolfo. Consiglio per chi ha un budget ridotto e poche pretese.

• Ana (5/5): Precisa de alguns cuidados para ficar bem apropriado - Localização, sistema de checkin e de entrada no quarto. A ducha é boa mas impossível de usar porque vaza agua no banheiro todo. A cortina do box é curta, vaza agua pelo banheiro todo e ate no quarto, o piso do quarto está danificado por causa disso e a porta do banheiro, que abre para fora fica emperrada. Na cozinha não ha uma frigideira para fazer ovos, so panelas, o que dificulta muito.

Room was just being cleaned at 14:00 when we arrived.Host responds late to enquires.Accomodation close ro the main road and you could hear the traffic if u opened a window.No A/C and TV in room.Water from the taps was foul smelling .Beddings weren't in the best shape.Furniture in the room was very old and worn out,you would literally sink into the couch. No the best hotel eperience.

• Rita (9/5): Super Lage für alles - Die Lage ist super - man ist in wenigen Minuten im BSI und auch sonst überall. Sonst alles da, was man braucht. Das Einzelzimmer war überraschend groß und ich konnte mich schön ausbreiten. Das Einzelzimmer war zur Straße und dementsprechend nicht gerade leise.
• Alessandra (8/5): it was ok for what we wanted to see in the capital - It is a 10-minute walk from the church, and from there the main street in the city center begins. The room is spacious with a balcony. A nice and comfortable room with an equipped kitchen for those who want to cook and a dining area. I chose the room with a private bathroom. The bathroom door is hard to open and close because of the swollen parquet.

• Matthias (8/5): Türcode wurde vorab übermittelt und man kann so selbst in die Unterkunft und in das Zimmer. Großes sauber Zimmer netter - Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Parkplatz auf der Hinterseite des Gebäudes zur Verfügung. Sehr geräumiger Aufenthaltsraum mit Küchennische die voll ausgestattet ist. 15 Gehminuten vom Meer mit einem schönen Sonnenuntergang Blick entfernt. Circa 30 Minuten vom Hafen entfernt zu Fuß. Eigenes Badezimmer mit Toilette vorhanden. Das Haus liegt direkt an einer sehr stark befahrenen Straße. Wasser in der Küche wird nicht kalt und riecht nach Schwefel. Preisleistung beim Frühstück passt leider nicht. Es gibt nur ein Weckerl ein Croissant eine Butter eine Scheibe Käse und eine Marmelade. Wesentlich besser einfach selbst beim Supermarkt ein Frühstück kaufen. Kaffee war vorhanden.

• Sebastian (9/5): Tolle Lage - Die Lage war perfekt, in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß in der Innenstadt. Es gibt 2 Parkplätze hinterm Haus, ansonsten muss man sich einen Parkplatz auf der Straße suchen. Das Frühstück bekommt man um 7 Uhr im Papiersack vor die Zimmertür gestellt, wir waren mit dem Inhalt sehr zufrieden, allerdings hat man halt keine freie Auswahl. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist gut ausgestattet. Das Leitungswasser in Reykjavik stinkt sehr nach Schwefel, ob das überall so ist weiß ich nicht, auf jeden Fall eine Überwindung beim Zähneputzen 😉

• Kellie (7/5): - The property was perfect for two travellers, the beds were really comfortable. Directions could have been clearer. There were no hosts available on site, we had questions about the coffee machine and no one to help. Luckily another couple also staying at the guesthouse thought to YouTube the issue. Our breakfast albeit a cute delivery was not at all what we thought it would be, a bag of bread and croissants (with apple juice, butter, marmalade and some cheese slices)

• Irene Becker (9/5): Preisleistung absolut in Ordnung. Würde ich wieder buchen. - Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Marmelade, Butter, Käse, Saft, wechselndes Obst und Brötchen. Es stand jeden morgen ab 7 Uhr vor unserer Zimmertür. Sehr gut war die Nähe zum BSI Terminal 10 Minuten, Regenbogenstraße 15 Minuten. Für uns gab es nichts auszusetzen. Die anderen Gästen haben sich mit dem Anstellen und Ausräumen der Spülmaschine schwergetan. Dies blieb immer an uns hängen, damit wir am nächsten Morgen sauberes Geschirr zum Frühstücken hatten. Dafür kann der Vermieter allerdings nichts.
• Silvia (1/5): Da evitare - Niente Colazione insufficiente, personale inesistente, nessuna insegna. A colazione lasciano una bag fuori dalla porta senza alcuna applicazione delle regole haccp perché è tutto buttato senza nessun packaging. Vengono dati 1 cornetto, 1 panino con due fette di formaggio, 1 vasetto di marmellata, 1 succhino confezionato e della frutta fresca troppo acerba per essere mangiata! Ovviamente nessuna bevanda calda.. scordatevi latte caldo ecc. solo un buon caffè si può fare nella cucina comune. Al nostro arrivo non c’era nessuno ad aspettarci, ma solo un codice per aprire la porta. Per capire qual era la struttura armatevi di pazienza perché non c’è alcuna indicazione, nessuna insegna. Il bagno emanava un odore nauseante! Alla fine forse era meglio averlo in condivisione, noi che lo avevamo in camera non si respirava. Se potete andate da un’altra parte perché non costa nemmeno poco

• SPYRIDON (8/5): - Αρκετά καλό , είχε θέση πάρκινγκ , και αρκετά εύκολη πρόσβαση στο κέντρο. Το πρωινό ήταν ικανοποιητικό Το δωμάτιο θα θέλαμε να ήταν πιο άνετο. Στο μπάνιο υπήρχε μια δυσάρεστη μυρωδιά.

• Narek (10/5): - We had a very clean and beautiful room, the hosts were super helpful and responsive at all times. Amazing fresh breakfast, the only thing that may need improvement is the breakfast bread was burned on the bottom every day we got breakfast. Other than that we had a blast!

• Esther (8/5): - Ruime kamer met private badkamer. Bedden lagen goed. We hadden problemen met binnen te geraken maar na een telefoontje werd dit snel opgelost. Het ontbijt was ook iets later dan verwacht geleverd en was vrij beperkt met enkel 2 broodjes per persoon, een beetje kaas, fruit, boter en jam. Geen charcuterie of choco en dergelijke.
